Kynlee - no advice on the Lupron, since I've never taken it, but congrats on starting again!

Riya - I totally understand being angry at God. I've been a very religious Jew for most of my life, but since losing my twins and having repeated failed transfers, I really have a hard time believing right now. How can this be God's will? Why does he hate us so much? I have no answers, I just wanted to tell you that you are not alone.

Nwquiz - I'm with Lou - I had no idea you had so many cycles. How many have you done total? How long have you been doing this?

Lou - a pharacist, huh? That's cool. My grandfather was a pharmacist until he retired in 1995. He says the whole system has changed and he hates it now. Do you get any 'employee discounts' on your meds? :D AF is here for me too - may this be the last box of tampons/pads we buy for a loooooong time! I'm all for a 9 month boycott of all Tampax/Kotex products!

Heather - thanks for your kind words. I wish you comfort and peace on Aimee's birthday tomorrow, however you choose to celebrate. I had planned a 'celebration' for my twins' birthday in December, but couldn't go through with it. Instead, David and I spent the day in the spa, just trying to forget the world. I'm so sorry she isn't here to celebrate with you. Lots of hugs.

Sunshine 12 - I would give ANYTHING to be one of those "I didn't know I was pregnant" women! My biggest dream EVER is to go for a baseline u/s and see a baby there! Oh well.... Do you know when your transfer will be?

Samantha - there are a lot of people! What helps me is that I open a 'reply' window in a different tab in Firefox and then follow along all the posts since my last post - so I get everything important. It's nice to 'know' all these ladies. Y'all remind me that I'm not alone, which is something I feel very much in my 'real life'.

Sunshine 1576 - I'm so glad you have a plan. Having a plan is a big step towards feeling more confident about things. Good luck with your surgery!

Lauren 1711
- I've heard that Centrocide and Ganirelix are the same thing - I personally take "Orgalutran" which is what the same drug is called here in the Middle East. I'd say use them interchangeably, but use only one during a cycle (ie, start with either, but stick with it). The antagonist is what keeps you from ovulating too early, which would be awful.

krcaja - did you have your retreival today? How did it go?

SD - me, you and Lou *NEED* those BFPs. I hope we all get them! I'll probably be right along after you.

Hope - we are staying in the Mediterranean Hotel in Rhodes City. Leaving in 2 days! Yay! No more BCP for you! I hope your baseline goes really well and you can start stimming! yeah - some wine is fine. The big issue with alcohol is "fetal alcohol syndrome" which only happens if you drink A LOT while pregnant. Alcohol doesn't raise the risk of miscarriage (caffeine does, so watch that coffee!) A glass or two of wine is FINE even while pregnant. Happy anniversary!

Jamiep
- as many here can relate - 'beta hell' is awful. I hope you get a really nice high number next! Keep us updated. I don't want to give false hope or false defeat - things could really go either way. I really hope it's good!

Anton - Welcome! I'd love to add you to our 'list'. What are you up to now? Any estimated dates?

Kat - You weigh yourself daily? How did you notice 3lbs over night? I would tell your doctor - weight gain because of fluid retention is a sign of OHSS.... feel good, honey! Triggered last night?

Tiger & Margi - I've been told not to call it "grasping at straws" but rather "creative thinking". I hope we all come up with 'creative' ideas that make this FINALLY work for us!

Tiger - congrats onyour anniversary! We are also married 5 years and TTC for 3! You got married young! (well, so did I!)

Carol - yummmmmm Greek food. I'm so excited! I'll try to eat all of that for you! My husband is really thin, so I can always shove my big butt halfway onto his plane seat!

Franny (turtle) - hi! I know you from my stalking days (before I posted a lot). How are you?

AFM - feeling a tiny bit better. Damnned flu! Gosh! I even got my vaccine this year! Dctor says it must be a different strain of flu. Nothing I can do but rest, tea and tylenol. Lots of baaaadddd movies being watched at my house today. (Bride Wars? aaaahhh... so stupid and relaxing!)

Only 36 more hours until we leave for Greece!

Updates on the list:
Amanda 1979 - how did the baseline go yesterday?
Andrea - is AF here yet?
andsahsa - any news?
jkulab - how was the polpyectomy? What are you up to now?

Kelly (Bakers Baby)
- U/S TOMORROW !YAY! Let us know how it goes!

Sunshine12 -- How are your embies doing? With 6 you may end up with a 5 day transfer. I had 6 going strong on day 3 last cycle where 6 of 7 mature fertilized and on day 5 I had 4 good ones! As for bed rest... there really isn't any data to show that more rest is better. I typically stay as flat as possible the day of ET and then go back to "normal" the next day but no working out. That's what worked on my BFP cycle.

Samantha -- Cetrotide is an antagonist like Ganirelix. You will take it once daily when your lead follie gets to be about 14 mm to prevent ovulation on your own.

Sunshine1576 -- What type of laparoscopic surgery are you having? I had it on Dec 13th. I had 4 small holes after surgery which healed up in about two weeks although I was back at work in 2 days. Just felt like I did a bunch of sit ups. I ended up having a fibroid removed from the outside of my uterus which was compressing my ovary and tube, a cyst from my left ovary, and a bit of endometriosis cleaned up. They also did a D&C while they were in there. What type of testing do you think they can do on your egg? I'm thinking it will only tell them anything if you have a mature egg. Good luck to you.

Lauren1171 -- Sorry I missed that about your last cycle. That really stinks that you didn't get to ET. Are you doing a FET then? I am hoping to transfer 3 but it all depends on quality. I'm terrified of multiples so if I have blasts and they are good, then I may only do 2.

krcaja -- Good luck on ER!!! Update us when you can.

SDtrying -- I am thinking my ER will probably fall between 1/19 and 1/21 with ET 3 or 5 days after ER. When is yours?

HopeisallIhave-- Awesome dream! I sure hope it comes true for you. And a little wine is fine up until ET. :D

Riya -- You sound a little bit better and I'm happy for that. Thing will become clear and you will once again have a plan in place to reach your dreams. There are many options out there, some more difficult than others. But where there's a will, there's a way. My mother used to always tell me when I was really upset about something... she would say "put it in perspective, it's not like you just found out you have terminal cancer." And she was always right. I miss her so much.

Jamie -- I'm praying for your beta to more than double. Miracles happen every day.

Anton -- Welcome. I have not heard of the blood procedure you speak of. However, I am doing an antagonist cycle. Instead of lupron, a direct antagonist is used to prevent ovulation while stimming. It is given once daily and started when your lead follicle is about 14 mm. Lupron doesn't work well on me at all. I have much better luck on an antagonist. I am using Ganirelix.

Kat -- Ugh... those 3 lbs are temporary. Don't worry!

Ryann -- Thanks hun! How are you doing? I sure hope to join you on the other side of the boards soon.

Tiger -- Happy Anniversary! DH and I celebrated our 15th last Sept. Acupuncture is awesome, isn't it? I'm going weekly too.

CJ -- Thanks. Now if all those antals will GROW then I'd be in good shape. Unfortunately, historically my yield doesn't match my antral count. :?

FRANNY!!!--- I'm sooooo glad you stopped by. I think of you so often my friend. Thanks for stalking me. Your support means so much. Are you still looking into donor embies? If this doesn't work for me, I may have to pick your brain on that.

Leora -- Cool your grandad was a pharmacist! 1995.... that's the year I graduated and got married too! Haha... I said the same thing this AF about it hopefully being the last box I open for a looong time!

Sorry if I missed anyone... I gotta run to a meeting at work. Soooo busy these days.

AFM -- I feel like my ovaries are working overtime. Is this a good thing? I've only taken one day of stims and I'm feeling all kind of little pains and twinges in there on both sides. Grow follies grow!!!! SnS (stick and stir for your newbies. Refers to u/s and bloodwork :D ) on Thursday.

Franny - oh my dear friend. I think about you often and was even going to post something to you to see if you were continuing to "stalk" (although you'd never be stalking, because we all love you). How are you doing? How is DH and is he recovering well? Much love to you.

Lou- I am doing the grow follies dance for you. Looks like we will be stimming together I start stims meds tomorrow.

Franny- so glad to see you check in :) I hope you are doing well.

Lauren171- Did you transfer 4? I may be alittle behind on here.

AFM: We didn't get to do our baseline because Alabama got hit with snow & everything is closed until Wednesday. My nurse did call & I started my Leuporide today and my stims tomorrow. I have an appt. for blood work & ultrasound in the morning. So we are still good. My DH & I work at a hospital and we both had to be there Sunday night when the snow hit. He is a Cat Scan tech and I am an x-ray technologist. The hospital did provide rooms for the employees, but they were all taken. It took us over an hour to get home Monday morning when it usually takes 20mins. I really hope this cycle works.

Heather - I would love to see a pic of the tattoo! I am sorry for all you have been through and know your little angel is watching over you. Sorry about the news of the surgery but wonderful news on it not being cancer!

Katie.. that's funny they got your gender scan wrong... How long did your little boy end up in pink nighties? LOL I bet that was a surprise!

AFM... I am finally in the 2ww of a natural cycle. I think I O'd Sunday night or Mon morn, but doesn't really matter. I was on about CD 22 or 23, so its doubtful my slow tired eggs fertilized. On a good note though, I am trying to stay positive and for the first time not fretting the 2ww ordeal. I'm not even expecting to test or worry about it, just waiting on AF to arrive so I can start my IUI cycle. Gonna give it everything we got!!!

Good luck to everyone pre and post transfer... grow follies and embies, GROW!

Hey guys.. Quick update from me.

I had my ET today. There were 5 left, only 1, 8 cell and rest all is 6 cell.even after much pleading from me to transfer at least 3, they only transferred 2 saying chances of multiples are very high given my age. I was hoping to bring 4 embabies home. Was kind of bummed to leave them there as i am not sure if they will be able to withstand freezing and thawing. Last time I transferred 2 and none took. :( .I really hope that this time I get lucky.

So now I am PUPO!

I read all your updates. I am very excited about everyone moving ahead in their cycles. I will do personals shortly. It's very hard to type lying in bed.
