My prayers are definitely with your brother and SIL. I know that they are so scared right now but the best thing they can do is to try to stay calm and think positive. Please keep us updated on their progress.
Prayers to you & your family for that little bean to stay put & brew a little bit longer. I will call my church & put them on our prayer list as well - big hugs to you & your family -

SD - many prayers for your SIl and that the baby stays in and comes out only when nice and ready. I am so sorry your family is going through this. Huge hugs.
On the same prayer note, Tess69 which cycled with a lot of us in May and in Sept, discovered her 19wk old baby has unsurvivable anomalies and will deliver soon. Please keep her and her fiancee in your prayers also.
Rio - that's so awful. I'm so sorry to hear. Technically, the loss of my twins was a TFMR (termination for medical reasons - I wasn't actually in labor, I was induced even though we knew it was too soon for the babies to survive). I don't know Tess69, but there are some great support groups for TFMR (which is especially hard after IVF). Babycenter had a great TFMR group and there is also a private website called "A Heartbreaking Choice" (AHC) that has a message forum. Tell Tess she is welcome to talk to me if she has any questions..... I'm unfortunately quite the expert

SDtrying#2, your post is the first I chose to read and respond back to tonight. It reminded me of my dear friend, Christy who's water broke while they were vacationing down in Orlando. They rushed her to the local ER and stopped her contractions. She was 25 weeks along when she admitted, yet they kept her there bedrest of course and she delivered Claire one month later. She weighted 4 pounds, 2 ounces. I truly believe God answers our prayers, so I will be saying one tonight for your brother and his wife.
Please do keep us posted as well,

Hi SD - I understand but you also have a great group of women here praying that it all goes well. If you can, I would like an update since I am keeping your SIL in my thoughts and prayers!
SD- I'm sending up strong prayers to you and your family. Hopefully they can stall delivery and buy her a few more weeks enutero. I too experience pre term labor which lasted for 3 1/2 weeks in the hospital before the exhausted all measures and delivered me 8 wks early. From what I was informed it would have been better if my DS had come earlier bcuz they could have given him steroids to quicken his lungs and some other undeveloped organs. Unfortunately, by the time he came his lungs had already began to form so they couldn't administer the drugs anymore. He was more susceptible to infection and sepsis and ended up being transfused twice! Thank God he survived and is 17 and as strong as an ox. The moral here is that bcuz ur SIL's baby is younger it may fare better, so please encourage her to stay strong so she can hold it a lil while longer.
