Thank you Ryann. How are things going? Anything more with your bleeding? We are still dealing with a rather large SCH, I have had bleeding everyday for 3 weeks now, thankfully it has been old blood for the last 2. Not a fun thing to be worried about at all is it. Hope you are well.

Also, thank you Ronda, I appreciate your kind words. He is too special not to share. :)

Tess - we went through a cycle in May and I had an ectopic and you had a m/c, I have been following your good news of the pregnancy and engagement and I was devastated when I read your post. I just cannot believe what I read. This is completely unfair and completely unexpected. Will the autopsy tell you if it was a trissomy or something else? My heart aches, I am so sorry and I wish I was there to give you a huge hug. I am so very sorry. When you are able to, please let us know how you are doing. I hope that you can have your baby miracle in the future!

Mellow - So your postman has red hair too? ;) wow that is amazing that you conceived with no issues not knowing he had severe male factor. I always joke with Dh that after we have this baby and our family is complete (I actually would love 3 but we can't afford more IVFs) that I will wake up pregnant one day when I am 40 something! His counts, motility, morphology were all compromised by chemo. His SA in 2007 was pretty bad, he took a bunch of vitamins and stuff and in 2010 his counts were much better. So I wonder if his counts will ever get better on their own and give us a surprise! As for Johnny's video, I watched his videos and pics on your blog a while back and was crying so hard, so please don't be offended that I don't think I can watch it right now. He is a little angel and will be watching over your twins! I am so sorry you went through all this but I am glad you are so strong and able to smile when you think of him now.

Rio~ No worries, I completely understand...i don't watch it very often either. It makes me cry. It's getting a little easier to see though. He would have been 9 months old, yesterday. We will always miss him.

Mellow - What a handsome boy your Johnny was, as beautiful as your other children. Both my DH and I have dark hair, but both of us have red heads in the family - all 4 of my brothers are red heads, it's only my sister and I that aren't and DH has 7 siblings, of which 4 of them are red heads, so quite possible that we carry the red hair genes! DH keeps joking that if Bean is a red head, he'll just poke the baby back in and wait for it to cook a little longer. That prospect doesn't really appeal to me! I'm more than happy with a red head!

Tess - Very, very saddened by your news. I don't know what to say.

Rio - Nice to be here! I've been stalking you anyways and was so excited when you got your BFP as I was so saddened by your ectopic in May. Is it really early for you to have GD? I am a type 1 (juvenile diabetic) so totally understand the issues there if you need to chat.

Stephanie - As hard as it is to have a MIL who is over enthusiastic about doing her own thing with your nursery (which I totally understand your viewpoint on! I know I have been very specific about what I do and don't want in mine!) it's equally as hard not having any support on that front at all. Both of DH's parents have passed away as has my father, but my own mother is so completely unsupportive that it makes me want to cry just to think of it. When I told her that I was pregnant, her response was "Oh, that's nice, but did you know I have a new microwave?" When she came over for dinner one night I suggested she go and have a look at the nursery, I was met with a total lack of interest although she did eventually go and have a look. Her response to that was "I would have thought you'd have renovated so that the lounge room would be the nursery so it was next to your bedroom, that's very irresponsible to have the baby so far away from your room." The concept of doing that is ridiculous since the master bedroom is at the opposite end of the house to the other bedrooms and the loungeroom is totally unsuitable as a bedroom given it would take major renovations of the house to make it a bedroom. If she had bothered to ask, I would have told her that the baby will be in our room to start with anyway. It saddens me that our baby will never really know it's grandparents at all as I could never leave our baby in the care of my mother and the others have all passed away. My sister left her daughter in our mum's care only once and received a phone call with mum saying "She wont stop crying and it doesn't matter how much I shake her, she just keeps crying." Sue fled home and has never left the two of them alone again. :(

Kiz - your post really hit home. Seems like we have a lot in common. My MIL and own mother are quite unsuportive as well. My mom told me SIDS was a myth and that my 4 month old son could sleep with her in her super pillow - soft - lots of covers bed! She also said "oh if he plays in the tub now you can leave him alone and go do other things around the house" or how about when I found her at the top of my 12 step concrete stairs egging our 18mo old son to climb up the stairs by himself? Needless to say I am amazed you and your sister survived as well as me! My MIL is actually good with our son but she really hurt our feelings when (they are loaded) said no to even loaning us money for IVF #3 and now flaunts new cars and new everything without any regard to our feelings, in fact they still think we are saving money for an IVF! So you are right there, overbearing is hard to deal with but worse to deal with not caring... as for GD, yes it is very early but I had it with my son so they tested me early and sure enough... :( but all for a good cause, are you getting early testing for GD too?

Hey Rio - yes, it would seem we have a lot in common! No need for any GD testing for me since I have diabetes anyway! Can't get it twice! I was diagnosed with juvenile diabetes quite late (18yo) when my weight plummeted to 50kgs (110 pounds at 5ft10in, so a BMI of only 15).

Tess - I am so very sorry to read what you are going through. I was so happy when you shared your BFP news on our cycle group thread and it's so sad to think of how your world just came crashing down on you in one appointment. You'll be in my thoughts and prayers and please let us know how you're doing when you're up to it. Again, I'm so sorry.

Tess I didn't get to know you very well but I read your story three times and want you to know that I am sending strength and love for what you are enduring. There are no words anyone can say that will make this go away, or easier. I did find a very supportive forum at www.whattoexpect.com - grief & loss board when I went through my miscarriage. There are women who went through things like you are going through and they will be there if you want. So very sorry.

Tess - My heart is breaking for you and your DH. I'm so sorry for your loss. I know there isn't anything that can be said that will make the pain less. Please know you are in my prayers and we are here for you.

Kiz - Thank you for sharing your story. I really appreciate the different perspective, and will definitely be taking it into consideration when faced with "over-enthusiasm" in the future. I feel fortunate that MIL is a reasonable lady and does listen to what we have to say to a certain extent. My older children's father's mother is a CRAZY. Nothing reasonable about that woman! Thank goodness MIL is nothing like that!

Tess - praying for strength for you and DH and that you can find some answers, I am so so sorry.

Kiz - will pregnancy make your diabetes worse? I know you get more insulin resistant as you get more pregnant.

Baby - yep I am with you on the unreasonable crazy witch of an ex ;)

AFM - yeay for an ultrasound! And my OB asked do you want another peak next week? Well let me think..... :D Of course! So little bean was moving up a storm and waving and it was so cool, this was the first time bean was very active for us. OB measured the other twin also and he/she is still at 7w4d which was hard to hear cuase it meant he lost his life right before our 7w5d US. He/she is not getting any smaller so I wonder what happens. We have our nuchal on the 24th but no blood test because the twin would throw my results off.

Tess: I am so very sorry to hear about your loss and will keep you in my thoughts and prayers.

Mellow: thank you for sharing your beautiful pictures, although I couldn't stop crying for quite awhile after. I cannot even imagine what you and your family have been through.

Kiz: my ex MIL was pretty much insane. She kept buying blue clothes with sports themes for my DD because she wanted a grandson. One night I had asked my SIL to babysit so we could go to a friends birthday party only to arrive home to find my MIL there. She told us that my 19 yo SIL was too young to babysit and wouldn't know how to take care of my DD properly so she sent her home. I told her that it was our decision as to who babysat our
child, not hers. After that I only had my mom babysit. Then there were all of the unannounced visits while my ex was at work. I started going out every day so I didn't have to see her. I am so glad that I do not have to deal with her anymore. Unfortunately my Mom passed away as did my MIL so I will have no help this time around.

I went to my GP a couple of days ago, after not feeling well for almost a week to find that my DS shared his strep throat with me and that I have bronchitis on top of it, ugh!
My SCH is not as bad as it was, although the last time I said that it was back within 2 days. I am so hoping that it is at least a little smaller at my U/S next Wednesday. Also hoping to find out if we are having boys or girls. We cannot come up with any boy names, any suggestions?

Today I met with the MFM, and things went pretty well. He is concerned about the size of the bleed, and is keeping me on bed rest until we can get it healed. The babies both look great, but he warned that it's still 50/50 with a bleed like this. I am determined to prove him wrong. It was a really cool ultrasound today and they showed both babies in 3D, they do have separate placentas, and one measures two days ahead of schedule with the other one right on. They are little wigglers! So cute. He said he won't let me go beyond 38 weeks, but I don't think we will even get there based on my history. I feel much more comfortable with this hospital than the one we delivered our son at, and it has a level 3 NICU...so that is a lot of peace of mind right there. I go back in 2 weeks. Off I go to be as lazy as possible! :)

How are you all doing? I am hoping it's been uneventful since there haven't been many updates.
