Just to let you know what is going on....

Post by Dolly »

Hi Guys - I havn't been at work much this week and so havn't been able to get on to the board.

I went to the Docs on Tuesday and had another scan - they couldn't see much other than some fluid in the abdoment (?), a cyst on my left ovary (this is what they originally thought was fluid in my tubes (!?) and something v. small in the uterus but they couldn't confirm that it was a pregnancy. My blood test came back at 2600 (up from 640 4 days previously). So that had them wondering why they couldn't see anything.

Since then I have had awful cramping and bad bleeding  since last night (some very big clots last night - sorry tmi!) - so I am being sent to Kings College Hospital tomorrow for a second opinion - apparently they have some wizzy 3d scanner. So hopefully we will know one way or the other by tomorrow - but I think that I must have m/c last night as I can't imagine anything would have survived that amount of blood loss.

I wish it would be good news tomorrow - but I have pretty much accepted that it is not going our way yet again.

I'll keep you all posted.

Hope you're all well.

take care

Dolly

Oh Dolly :(

I am really sorry. What a horried situation you have been in for so long. It's been such a roller coaster for you and my heart really goes out to you. I was scanned at Kings with their top of the range 3D scanner with Katelyn and it is a good one. I was in too much of a state to appreciate it at the time.

I hope that you get some answers tomorrow. My thoughts will be with you and your DH tomorrow. Keep us updated and be strong.

I really am so, so sorry :(

All my love Dagny xkx

Hi Dolly
Just wanted to see how your doing, I know you must be upset by the bleeding but I do know girls who have had full on bleeds and still kept their babies so hold on in there. Fingers crossed for the scan.
Thinking of you

Hi Dolly - just wanted to see how you were getting on.
i'm still at exactly the same point as you - hgc going up but they still don't think enough to sustain. last week they did an internal scan and could see the "pregnancy" they took photos and measuered etc - but again said don't get unrealistically optimistic. i'm jst glad it isn't etopic
i'm due to go back on thursday for another scan (t his time cos it will be 7 weeks they will scan for a hearbeat for what it's worth) and blood test and we'll see what happens then. i haven't had anymore bleeding since the day after the + that was 3 weeks ago tomorrow.
i just can't get my hopes up even though they said 5% chance there culd be something still growing.
the hanging on in limbo is so awful isn't it.
Just keep your head up and smile and think postive thoughts - and we'll get there one day!
how did you scan go? hope you're doing ok. im just taking each day as it comes. and taking heed from the fact that at least once upon a time there was a +!

Oh Michelle

You are really going through it too. I am keeping my fingers crossed for your scan on Thursday that they find the heartbeat.

It is so hard waiting for scans and tests isn't it?

Dolly - How are you honey????

Take care
