A Husband's IVF Journey

Post by Mike26 »

Hello everyone. I have truly enjoyed reading the posts on this site. I've been inspired to start my own blog and I encourage you to come by and visit. I hope this year brings babies and smiles to everyone!!

As I was researching, I was surprised to find very few blogs, articles, or posts written from a man's perspective. While it's obvious the women do the "Heavy Lifting" on this mission, I was in search of other men's experiences in supporting their significant others through this journey. I find myself feeling a bit inadequate each time I review the plan for injections, ultrasounds, blood tests, etc....and I think about my role. My desire is to provide a view of my experiences for anyone interested.

I would love to read your perspective. It's hard to know what my husband thinks about all of this.

My husband has been dealing with all this really well but sometimes I think he wants a child more than I do. He hasn't really found a good support group or any friends to talk about this with. Maybe blogging would be a good outlet. Do you have a link to your husband's blog. I am sure my husband would enjoy reading another man's perspective.
