Fetal Heartbeat Monitor

Post by karenthescorpio »

Does anyone have any advice on which doppler is a good one to buy? I noticed a wide range of prices and just wonder if this is one of those cases where you get what you pay for? I really want to get one. More for amusement with my DH than to obsess over finding a HB. My DH can't get to many of my appts and I know it would mean alot to him to hear the HB more frequently. Thanks for any insight anyone can give on which one's are good, etc.

Hi Karen - I have the Sonoline B 3mhz and I love it! I've been able to find the h/b since 9w5d. I paid like $60 on e-bay and it came with a couple of tubes of the gel. I use mine 2-3 times a week to just check in on the baby and it always puts a smile on my face to hear that h/b. WONDERFUL when we have weeks between appointments and we want to hear the little one!

Ditto on the Sonoline B, 3mhz! I found the girls hb when I got it at 10w2d. I let my friend use it and she couldn't find it until 12 or 13 weeks, but we both liked it.
