Natasha – It is perfectly normal to be nervous but you will be just fine! Just keep thinking of the moment when you get to meet your daughter! I can’t wait to see the pictures of her. Please try to keep us updated if possible and remember to ask for pain medications when you think that you will need them!

Natasha - Good luck! Your final wait is here. :)

Franca - YAY for a date... your wait is almost over!

Pa - You might be the last to pop? lol Other than Karen of course.

Karen - Where have you been? Third trimester now right? How are are those pregnancy symptoms? Hope all is well and you are on top of the world!

Katie - Ryan is simply adorable! What a smile! Now that Ethan realized he has a voice, he uses it ALL the time. My goodness is he a baby chatter box. He likes exercising those vocal cords.

Sorry if I missed anyone... I didn't get enough done over the weekend so more to do today. :( I wish I could just sit on my ass and blink my eyes like Jeanie and be done with it. I really hate laundry! It must be the worst chore EVER! It's the one thing that has three different steps to it and requires me to go up and down the stairs. Not like I couldn't use the exercise. I am on the thicker side of the spectrum, but just because I need something doesn't mean I have to enjoy it. lol I am actually finally getting back into the groove of things. It only took 3 months. Most of the past 3 months have been all about babies and letting things go, but now I am doing it all. Soon I will be adding another little one to the routine when Amy goes back to work. With my pooper being checked soon, we might have to have a back up plan in place though. Anyway, hope everyone is doing well and happy and healthy! Love love love love love!

Natasha- OMG honey! You are going to do great I just know it. Now don't you think about leaving us just because you have a baby! We'll all still be here for each other through poopy diapers, colic and colds. :) Good luck and let us know how big she is. We can't wait!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Katie- Yup must be daddy's luck. He does have a super cute smile. The girls will be lining up for dates with him! :) Maybe you are just out of the storm belt this time? They have been talking about it here for a week. UGH.

Franca- Yea honey! Only 15 days! It's just you and me for Feb. :)

Steph- Yup, I may be last but I will find out more tomorrow. :) DH ended up getting paid for the trip he missed. PHEW...that makes him much less of a grump. His boss totally understands as he's got a few kids and his wife is a flight attendant too. ANyhow, just glad he changed his lost trip to paid. :)

Angela- I'm glad my DH isn't the only one nervous about pregnant sex. LOL I keep jumping on him and asking him to help jumpstart the labor. He just isn't going for it. :) Poor DH.

AFM- I have an OB appt tomorrow and a NST at the peri. OB is first. I guess we will have to talk about my contractions last Friday. Maybe it was all the BBQ I ate that afternoon? Or the walking around at the mall? Who knows, but I need to do more of it. They have been talking about inducing because she is so big. If the do it will be at 39w so around Feb 8, same day as Franca. Although, Franca would be first because of the time change in London. :)
I'll update you all tomorrow after the Dr appts. XOXO

Ladies – for those of you who already delivered, what was your first menstrual cycle like? Mine started early last week and was extremely heavy and crampy but only lasted 4 to 5 days, my normal length. But, once I stopped bleeding for about two days, I began to bleed again and I am still spotting now. The bleeding that started again once I originally stopped is what concerns me. Did this happen to anyone else?

Natasha- good job mamma! Maybe tonight, maybe tomorrow? Try to get some rest honey. From what I hear, we're going to need it.

AFM- Well big update today ladies. The Dr has diagnosed me with polyhydramnios (too much amniotic fluid). The results of my 3rd trimester testing are in...I do NOT have gestational diabetes. A lot of times that is why mom's develop polyhydramnios. The other 50% of the time...it's just unknown. The problem, with too much fluid it can keep the baby's head from engaging (she is not engaged at all), it can cause placenta abrupture (EEKKKK!), and if my water breaks it would be A LOT of water which could cause my cord to prolapse (where the cord comes out of the vagina before the baby and creates a life threatening situation for the baby). So...here is the problem...too much fluid...what to do? I will continue to be very uncomfortable, have difficulty breathing and baby may never engage. They COULD drain off the fluid but since I am at term they don't really want to do that. They are going to continue to monitor me with NST twice a week and a fluid check once a week. They could induce labor but because the baby is not engaged at all it would result in an automatic c-section. They could find out that baby is stressed and need to do a c-section anyhow. So right now we are just in a wait and see situation. After the OB today I was at the peri center and they said my fluid level had gone down a little bit from last week. Well, that's good. I go back for another NST on Friday. My OB asked me how I felt about a c-section. I said I was fine with it as long as we got her out safe. The last thing I want is for my cord to prolapse and lose my child because they waited too long and didn't take her. He did say we may have a baby by next week. ACK!
SOOOOOOO ladies...that's what is going on today. Oh and still waiting on my dresser to be delivered. :) Much love to you all. XOXO

I just have a second, trying to make dinner and need to hurry -

Natasha - Wheeeee! honey, here you go! You're going to have little Nataliah in your arms, you may already have her actually! Good Luck honey and dont be nervous, it will go just fine! - xoxo

PA - Well that was certainly an intense day for you too! Thankfully you have a great OB thats keeping a close watch on you. so she'll be here by next week? Wow, mama, the time went by really fast! I remember when you were in your 2ww! and that doesnt seem long ago, does it? I dreaded the c/s so bad, and when it came down to it after Ryan refusing to budge, then 11 days later being induced didnt make me dilate and when they told me after 13 hrs that my contractions were slowing and its time to get him out now, I was like - lets go then! As long as they put a healthy baby in your arms, it really doesnt matter which way she gets there, does it? And it really wasnt as bad as I had built it up to be in my head stressing it all those months either. She looks beautiful in your u/s pic and so soon you'll get to meet her finally!! Now just take it easy and let DH do everything for you, ok? Eek, so exciting!!! - xoxo

Franca – yeah for the c-section date! February will be here before you know it! I hope that you are taking it easy and preparing for your beautiful daughter…

Stephanie – yes, I understand what it is like to let things go and take care of the baby, but I too am now transitioning to doing the things that I used to do like laundry, cleaning the house, and cooking, etc. I am trying to get into a routine so that when I go back to work it isn’t too hard for me to function. I really don’t want to think about it but I have an important business meeting at the end of February in Las Vegas and I think I will have to attend. So, the last month of my maternity leave will be preparing for my return. I think that it is time because I miss all of the doctors and nurses that I used to call on daily. They have been calling and checking on me, which makes me feel so good!

Natasha – the woman of the hour … lol! I hope that you are doing well! You are responding a lot better than me … I had a bad reaction to the Cervadil. I can’t wait to see pics! I had a feeling that when you said that you had low amniotic fluid that they were going to induce you very soon.

PA_FA – OMG – next week we will have a new baby! That is so exciting! I love the u/s pic … she looks so darn cute!

Katie – I hope that you enjoy dinner! I just love the pics of Ryan in the jumper. I talked to DH about it and we will order one very soon for Gabriella. It seems like every week I am buying her a new chair, seat, etc! I love it!

AFM – I ordered one of those Bumbo chairs from Target and had it shipped to my house. It came it today and I was so excited to put Gabriella in it. She fits in it perfectly! And I can’t believe how it is having her sit … l love it!!! I also ordered a bath robe but she can’t fit it until she is 6 months old and I ordered a cover for her car seat. I am not sure if you ladies have seen those covers that fit over the car seat to keep the baby warm, it is a fleece material that unzips so that you will not have to use a blanket to cover your baby up when it is cold outside. I also called my OB and they said that it was normal to bleed after delivery and then stop and start to bleed again as long as there was no fever or clots that follow because it could indicate a leftover placenta. Have a great night ladies!!

Hey ladies,

So finally got to log on!!!! jason has been busy most evenings with football etc and i just didnt have time but OMG so much news!!!!!!

Natasha i hope your little girl has arrived safelty xxx

PA thats why i had to have a C-section due to risk of cord prolapse and she was so high up they said it was too dangerous to risk my waters breaking so they did my section withing hours and i have to admit for me it was a great experience, it was such a relaxed environment, she came out crying and kicking and the recovery was great, i was back walking the dogs after 5 days!! How are the contracions??

Angela oh my period lasted agesssssssss like over 2 wks, it was very heavy (normally its light) and i spotted for days but it has stopped now. Great to hear the drops are working for Gabriela.

Katie ah Ryan is just too adoreable!!! Kayla is drooling a lot too so much so she is always damp under her neck and was getting spotty there the doctor today said its a slight fungal infection and gave her steroid cream, if she is drooling now what will she be like when teething  Kayla is going to buy herself one of the chair activity things she has won money Twice in a draw so she can treat herself!!

Steph i dont know how you get things done with twins you must be Supermom  You should see me tearing round the house cleaning when Kayla is napping in the mornings. Hows little lena??

Franca ohhhh not long now!!!! Isnt it great to get an end date!!! Nearly there hon!

Kayla is 9 wks today!!! She had her 2mth vaccinations today and was not impressed though it was so funny watching her expressions when she got them done  her napping habits change daily she could go down for 4 hrs one day and the next take 4 separate hour naps, she isnt sleeping thro the night yet but still trying sometimes she may go from 10pm to 6am then back down till 9am or sometimes she wakes up at 3am for a feed as long as she goes back down afterwards i dont mind! So i am back in the gym for last 2 wks and delighted that i now only have 8lbs left to lose  though my doc told me today i need to cut down on my exercise as doing too much  i feel great though so will see.

Chat later

Gi – it is great to hear from you! So Kayla had her two month shots already. Gabriella is scheduled for February 7th and I am dreading it all the way. She has those strange sleep/nap schedules too. I just never know what to expect day to day. Great job on the weight lose! You might want to take it easy if your doctor is suggesting it. You don’t want any setbacks, right?

Franca – I engaged between 34 through 36 weeks. Don’t worry … you are almost at your C-section date. Even if she is engaged, that doesn’t mean she is coming now!

Natasha - I hope that you are doing well. I keep checking for updates ... but I am sure you are busy recovering and looking at your beautiful daughter.

AFM – As I was telling Gi, I have lost 21 weeks but I would love to lose more because I gained more with the stimming meds. So I decided to start the Nutri-system that is advertised on television. I used it before but I wasn’t too committed but with the cost of $300 dollars per month I better be serious! I know several people who have had a lot of success with it, so I will let you ladies know about my progress.
