some of you will remember me... I was part of the fall board and then kind
of disappeared for awhile. After my last fet turning out to be negative I decided
on a much needed break. I got my blood results on dec 14th thAt is was a negative.
This was the first time I didn't come out with a positive but it was nice to not have
to be dragged on through beta hell like the first two times.
Anyways I got my first period on dec 17th three days after my results. It was a normal
period. So now my second period has been due for awhile. I have 30 day cycles and
even with all my problems I've never been this late. My period is 9 days late today!
I have taken two hpts both negativve And I feel nothing. I know I could go get bloodwork
done but it's so depressing. Anyone ever experience this?? Or know why it could be happening?

Krys - welcome back! As much as I wish you were on the 'pregnant' side and not dealing with this again, it's nice to see you again!
Lots and lots of things can cause you not to get your period, besides being pregnant. The hormones from the FET might have messed up your cycle. Stress could be keeping your period away.
Do you know if you ovulated? I have PCO and don't ovulate regularly at all - maybe the IVF affected your PCO and is making you not ovulate.
In any case - 9 days late could drive you nuts! Odds are, you aren't pregnant (although I wish it were so). Call your RE and ask for something to give you a period, so you can start your IVF again. A few weeks of BCP will do it, as will a few days of Provera (progesterone -- usually you take for 5 days and get a period 3 days after you stop). In general, I don't get my period regularly at all - so as soon as I have a failed cycle, I start a pack of BCP. That way, I can always figure out when my next period will be.
Come hang out on the "Winter" board - I'm about to cycle again too! (expecting AF in the coming week)

I don't know why, but patients often have unpredictable cycles for a month or two following treatment.
Avoid IVF and surrogacy in Ukraine. Ukrainian centers pay shills to post here under numerous sock accounts pretending to be patients in Ukraine. Centers using such deceptive advertising cannot be trusted and should be avoided.
Krys – Yes, the same thing happened to me and it drove me crazy. My RE ended up prescribing me some medications to start my menstrual cycle and it worked.
Even after my failed IUI cycles with Clomid my cycle was all off!!! After my first failed IVF, I got my first period normally. Then my next cycle was something like 48 days!!!! I was going nuts...I just wanted to start trying and all I could do was wait. Then I had a cycle that ended in miscarriage at 7 weeks...forget it, my cycle was a mess for months after that. More waiting. Then another FET, and a beautiful baby girl!!!! The waiting sucks. It drove me crazy. But I think this happens to a lot of girls. The therapist I used to see said that infertility treatments are and "endurance test". You just have to stay in the game!!!
Best to you!!!
