Stephanie love the names, my neighbor just named her son Brady. I can feel them moving, baby b is always more active. He is on top and anytime I bend over he kicks me really hard, probably because I shouldn't be bending.
I went for a chest xray today as I'm not getting any better. Found out that I have pneumonia, which explains how horrible I feel. I left a message for my OB and of course he hasn't called back yet. I guess I'll call him tomorrow to see what he wants to do as my primary doesn't want to prescribe anything else. I feel like I'm going to cough the babies out!
Oh Gina, I'm sorry you are so sick. What a bummer. Get better soon.
Stephanie, love the names. So fun to feel them moving huh. I feel little flutters...always do very early, but mostly I feel one or both of them bouncing on my bladder like it's a trampoline. haha, such a weird feeling. Yay for another boy in the group. We think we were pretty sure that one was a boy at our last u/s...it was early but very..well lets just say out there. Will see soon enough.
I go in tomorrow for a ultrasound to take a looksee at that bleed. Hoping for good news.
Gina - Pneumonia? You poor thing! I hope you recover from it quickly and start feeling better pronto. We've had names picked out since we started trying 2.5 years ago LOL. We'll have a Johan Diego if it's a boy and Maribel Jordana if it's a girl. Can't wait until the 22nd to find out which it will be!
Stephanie - I honestly don't know if I've felt my little one move yet. It's been almost 19 years since I was pregnant so I don't remember when it started last time. There have been a few times I thought I might be feeling baby move but I can't rule out the fact that it may have just been gas. So I continue to wait for a definitive movement. And I can't wait until your scan on Tuesday to find out what you're having!
Mellow - Good luck tomorrow with your u/s. I'm hoping for GREAT news!

Gina, so sorry you are sick! It sucks! I haven't had anything that bad, but since I work at a preschool, I've gotten a stomach virus twice, an upper respiratory infection and a sinus infection. I haven't had anything since I was 14 1/2 weeks but I started with a stuffy nose last night and woke up with a sore throat (I'm hoping it goes away quickly).
We have a girl name picked out but can't agree on a boy name (I'm sure this baby is a boy). The middle names (either gender will have 2) are picked out though. If it is a girl her name will be Jasmine Layola Jo. Jasmine was the name of my sister that died the day after she was born, Layola was my grandma's first name, and Jo is mine and my mom's middle name (as well as both of my DH's sister's middle name). If it is a boy, the middle names will be David James, David after my dad who only had girls and James is my DH's middle name, as well as his Dad's name, and many other boys on his side have James somewhere in their name. We will find out tomorrow whether it is a boy or girl!

Well, ultrasound went great this morning. Baby is healthy and everything is normal! Baby was stubborn when we tried to see it's face, it kept putting it's hands up and covering it! We had the tech put the gender picture in an envelope ( I had to turn to my side for her to see what the baby was, because again, it's stubborn).
We got home and started making breakfast and we were going to wait for this afternoon to open the envelope so my husband could get some sleep (we works 3rd shift and we went straight to the appointment after he got off work) but he couldn't wait. He pulled the envelope out and said he wanted to do it then. At the OB office he told me he wanted a girl (he did want a boy at first) but he said the more he thought about it, the more he wanted a "Daddy's Little Girl." Well, IT'S A GIRL!!!!
We cried and we couldn't be more excited. Baby Jasmine it is! We still haven't told our families (you girls are the only ones who know!). Hubby is sleeping now and we will make phone calls when he gets up!

Deidra: Congrats on having a little girl! We're having a girl too. I already love clothes shopping for her... The little pink outfits are so adorable.
Stephanie: Our baby is extremely active; she has been for a few weeks. While it can be distracting, it's amazing and often makes me laugh because it's too cute.

Back from my ultrasound, and things look pretty good. The bleed has not grown, and looks like it's getting better. We weren't able to tell for sure what they are, but the tech thought they were both GIRLS! Still early, and one wasn't showing it's stuff very well. It looks like baby b is a girl for sure though. We shall see! 4 weeks until the level 2 ultrasound...hope I can wait that long!
Mellow - GREAT news on the bleed! I'm so, so happy to read that excellent news in your post. And maybe 2 girls huh??? How exciting! I'll be finding out the gender around the same time as you...my countdown to u/s is 3 weeks & 4 days away. It can't get here fast enough!

I'm sorry I don't post very often, but I certainly check the board almost daily to keep up with your progress.
Deidra: Congrats on your girl!.... Daddy's little girl! How exciting!
Mellow: Great news on your US. Hopefully time will fly and you will have your US in no time.
Gina: I hope you are feeling better.
How is everybody else?....
AFM: Wen't to see my OB and he sent me to the high risk ob because of a pulmonary embolism I had in 2003. I'm taking anticoagulants daily and it will continue like that all the pregnancy and I think even after delivery for a few months. It's not a big deal, it's just one little shot daily (And we all know about daily shots!!!!). The visit to the High risk Drs. it's more preventive than anything else, but it still a little unnerving. I go next Tuesday and will have an US as well. Can wait to see him/her again!!!!!. I'm still dealing with the morning (all day) sickness although it's not that bad. My main issue is that i'm hungry all the time!.... I get full quick, but I'm hungry again in two hours!

So how are the food cravings? Has anyone had some serious desires?
I'm dying here... I constantly want something specific - from egg rolls to icky mall pizza. The worst is, I really want deli sandwiches but the anti-listeria handout from my OB says no cold lunch meats I am majorly disappointed. Guess I just have another Super Pretzel...

Mellow: yay for the improvement on your bleed!
Barbara: I have been craving baked potatoes, so strange!
