Wow the board has been busy since yesterday afetrnoon.

Hotgreentea- Things are really looking good. Fingers crossed for you.

Kynlee- I'm so sorry about your Mom.

Margi- I'm so glad your Ob's going to work with you. What a relief you must feel. Very excited for you.

Lyd10- My doctor also said the same thing about the Lupron cycles.

Tammy- Praying for lots and lots of follies today.

Hope- Good luck today. Praying for lots of mature eggs.

Leora- WHat a relief no BCP. I'm doign the AF dance for you.

SdTrying- Good luck with this cycle.

Samantha- I'm so sorry you are goign through all that. I'lls ay a prayer for your cousin.

Lou- One of my PIO shots that DH did got all swollen and imflamed and was so painful for days but it did get better. I haven't allowed him to do anymore. Im really sorry that your girlfriend hasn't called you back hopefully she has a good excuse and calls you soon.

Lauren- Yay your officially PUPO. So sorry you ahd to go through all that agony though. :(

Tiger- Yay your officially PUPO too :) Enjoy your mini vacation.

Amanda- Awesome 6 eggs. My second ER was painful it was with a differant doctor than my first. The first I went to work the next day and tha was with my doctor doing the ER. This past one I was so scared and I had a differant doctor than the first two and he asked me who did my last and I told him and he goes don't worry you'll have very little pain this time. If that wasn't a dig to the other doctor;) Anyways he was right. Besides being gassy the pain was very minimal this time. Still not as pain free as the first with my doctor.

Kerri- welcome aboard and good luck with this cycle.

Nwquiz- So sorry I dont' have any Gonal-F. I almost did but I stimmed for so long so I had to break into that 900 one :(

So I went for my labwork. They were so packed. I showed up at 7:20 and there must have been 30 people already seen on the list. I didn't get my blood work done till almost 8. Now we wait. I may not be able to get back to you guys though till tonight. I'm driving up to Maine to visit the family this afternoon. I feel really good today, no headache so far.

Hope everyone has a great day and wonderful weekend.

Hey Lou...I started spotting the 21st so 5 days after my 5 day transfer. I was also cramping a little too. Not like my period cramps which can be downright uncomfortable to absolutley painful. These were more like a pulling sensation. Actually It felt just like the pain I get when I ovulate to be exact. I kept having to pee non-stop (still do) but that could be because I am on PIO and I have been making a great effort to drink lots and lots of water. Way more than my body was used to. I spotted from friday to about wednesday night. It was mostly a pinkish color but a few times it was bright red but it was very light. Kinda like when you scrape your knee and put a tissue against it. The only other symptom is my boobs started to hurt pretty badly Wednesday (no pins and needles just a really heavy feeling). For everyone PUPO...ALL OF MY SYMPTOMS FELT EXACTLY LIKE MY PMS) so you can not get discouraged. I broke down and tested because I realized the POAS pushers were 100000+% right about needing to prep myself for my beta.

So I actually got my beta 11dpt which means my numbers should be around 700 today...god willing...

Leorira...my next beta is not until Monday morning because my #'s were so high. LOL at ANOTHER 2ww! I so want to see that heartbeat. I am scared shitless of losing this baby. We have been through so much heartache as i know everyone completely understands. I still can't beleive i finally am pregnant...it seems surreal.

Also please excuse my terrible spelling, grammar, and typing overall...in a big hurry this morning!

Is it possible my 11dpt beta of 345 might be twins? We did have 2 blasts put in?

I gotta go but good luck to everyone and lots of baby dust to everyone!! Cant wait to hear on results today for those who chose to POAS or have their beta today!!! Lots of prayers!!!!

hi ladies. i'm not sure what's going on anymore. i just came from having a.m. monitoring and from the way the ultrasound looks i need to wait another day or so. yesterday when a doc did the u/s, i had 2 follies at 16mm and a few more around 12mm. then this morning, a different doc did the u/s and she only found one follie at 16mm and others 10-12mm. what the heck happened to the other 16mm follie? how is it possible that i can have 2-16mm on one day and the next only one...i'm very confused!

Jeib- That is confusing. I wonder if she counted the 16 twice the day before. My tech one day kept doing that.

Lauren-I forgot to ask you are you on PIO shots or suppositories after your IUI? With my IUI's they gave me suppositories but with IVF I'm on PIO shots. I dont' get the side effects witht eh PIO shots that I do with the suppositories.

Margi,
I like the way you keep the list. You included many funny and meaningful pictures. The big Syringe on the heading of my name - yes, I have to face it twice a day.

Leorira,
Yes, I am in January board as well. A lot of people at that borad are at the final stage of IVF so I come over to see if anyone has a closer schedule. Yes, I found them. Plus, it is a nice tread here.

Kat,
Thanks for greeting. I think I will have lots of fun here.

AFM,
Had the first echo this morning: 5 tiny follicles in my right side and nothing in my left; strange enough, I haven't had such a high number in my right side and my left side performed better than my right in my last two IVFs. Good sign or not? Having a bloated belly and don't feel comfortable. I am having a high dose of FSH and hope not to get the OHSS.

nwquiz -- Thanks for the PMA boost. I know that anything is possible, I'm just super worried.

Sherry -- Wow... that's a lot of follicles! You should have a terrific ER. Just be careful of OHSS, I hear it's not fun.

kynlee -- Thanks for the prayers. I really feel like i need them. I don't feel like much has fallen my way lately. First I only get 3 eggs from 5 follies, then out of that only 2 were mature despite being 17-18 mm, wtf?, then from that only ONE fertilized. At least it made it to transfer.

margi -- Unfortunately, calling my boss won't help. The work is coming from the hospital. I've been assigned this project from the big administration big-wigs... but yes, call them! I know you have insurance but did SCRC say what their rates are for IVF with ICSI and monitoring? Do you need any testing repeated such as day 3 labs, hysteroscopy, clomid challenge, etc, etc...? I'm wondering IF (BIG IF) we can afford another cycle where I should go. I want a really good clinic with lots of experience in my age range and with my particular issues. I don't feel good about giving up until someplace like that fails me too. I'm not in a good place right now. Cash pay sucks! If I do get a baby, s/he'll have to wear potato sacks and just forget about college!

LYD -- Good luck with stims! You are well on your way. Send me some of your "responding dust" from your ovaries. Mine don't seem to cooperate despite an FSH of 6.6 and an AFC of 15-22 each time. I've gotten anywhere from 3-10 eggs on my 4 fresh IVF's. I hope you're right about the surprise positive beta.

SD -- Yes, I'm totally trying to be prepared for another BFN. I'm just so damn sad though. Good luck with stims!

wannabeamum -- So sorry about your cousin! That sounds horrible. Life is just so unpredictable. You are very stressed, it might be better to postpone your cycle so you have the best chances.

Tammy -- I do hope you are right that my "hell" will end up positive. I'm scared. Can't wait for your follie update!

Hope -- I guess I assumed every clinic monitored LH. Every time I had an u/s and blood work they checked estrogen, progesterone, and LH. Thinking of you for ER. Hope it turns out well.

Leora -- 60F sounds wonderful. It's been 20's here and snow here and there. We didn't get dumped on like they did out east though. Ugh! So sweet of you to offer to do something for me, but I don't know what you could do??? Sing for me maybe? Unless you know of a doctor who does free IVF's....lol. BTW, my beta is Friday 2/4.

Kat -- Thanks for telling me about your red, swollen, PIO shot. I'm hoping mine goes away too. It's been three days like this and it hurts soooo bad. I've only been injecting the other side because of it and can only sleep on the "good" side.

krcaja -- Thanks for your symptom update. So your cramping didn't start until 10dpo? I didn't spot on my BFP cycle, but I hear it's common in IVF cycles. Yours sounds pretty pronounced. Congrats again.

jkulab -- OK a follie cannot disappear. It must have been hiding behind another one. Try not to worry. Ghost sent me a study that said best results are when trigger occurs when 3 follies reach 17 mm. Sounds like you aren't quite ready yet.

AFM -- Damn, I'm so down lately. Mostly because I feel we're at or near the end of our journey. I am having a few "burning" type crampy feelings, quite mild, every now and then in my uterus. It doesn't feel familiar at all so I don't know if it means anything. I also just feel damn bloated and fat as hell. I texted the friend who wasn't speaking to me after not talking since about Jan 8th and we are supposed to possibly have lunch this weekend. Not official yet... but I need to know what's going on. I called last week after texting multiple times and leaving voice mails for two weeks and got a text back that said "please don't call me". That was a week ago. So we shall see. Anyhoo... I don't think it's ME that's the issue here.

to all ladies and lou - i know how you feel about feeling fat. so here's a funny story for you that happened just the other night. a few weeks ago, my stepson was bouncing on the couch and broke one of the legs. so my bf did a quick fix of the couch...ok...problem solved. so the other day, i weighed myself (just to make sure i dont' have OHSS) and i'm the heaviest i've ever been. i'm so depressed, so i go downstairs to sit on the couch...i broke the leg of the couch! the whole couch went, thump! i said to my bf that i was so fat that i broke the leg of the couch. he laughed and reminded me that aidan had broke it before...but i still felt bad about it! but looking back on it now, it's pretty funny! hope that lightens our spirits!

ARGH weird I feel like I have period cramps coming on, not the cramping I had over the weekend. ARGH not a good sign. My period is technically due today but I've never started my period till at about 5 days after I stopped PIO shots.

Hi all, just a quick update.. ER went well. RE retrieved 15 eggs, so that was a pleasant surprise! Feeling quite nauseous from the car ride home, so going to rest up a bit. Plus cramps are not feeling so good either. Will get to reading updates and do personals when I feel a bit better. Kimber, my retrieval buddy, thinking of you. Much love to you all!

jeib.. thats a funny one about the couch... I am miserable being overweight and I blame alot of it on ttc. Between the meds I have been on and off for the last 2+years and crazy hormones making me nauseated one day and starving the next... not to mention the "I'm in the 2ww and don't want to over-exert myself in case I'm pregnant" mentality. But at the very least I figure I will have hit rock bottom the day I go to the airport and they tell me I need to by two plane tickets for myself...

margi.. love the blinkies... so when will you be going to sunny CA?

Lou and the other ladies that are now PUPO... good luck... I'm praying for bfp for each and everyone of you! :!: :!: :!:

Leora... you won't tell anyone that I am a celebrity will you? I'm octomom going in for another IVF... I'm hoping for 10 this time so I can finally get my own reality show that people will actually watch.

Sweetpea.. if I could wrangle that witch for you I would... still hoping for a miracle!

Tonight I start my shots! I'm so excited. I know I can do it myself, but I am tempted to make DH do it anyway just to make him part of the process. After all, with IUI his work here is limited.... I really wish I could go to the bathroom and masturbate, then 9 months later someone hands me a baby and says "here you go, enjoy!" Do they realize they have the easy part???

Hope - great # of eggs! Did they say how many mature? Hoping for a great fert report!

Lou - PMA - this could be it, if you do want a sibling, I know CCRM is highly rated, one girl on this board got cycles canceled and was I think from IL also. Low ovarian reserve issues. In 2 consecutive cycles there she brought home 3 babies!

Sweetpea - super good luck!

Tammy - great # of follies growing!!!!!!! Fingers crossed!

krcaja - congratulations, the wait is a killer but you will be fine!!!!!!!!!!!

Amanda- super fert report vibes!

Leora - thank you for your always so entertaining posts! Yeay for no BCP!

Tiger - super baby dust and congrats on being PUPO

Margi - hope your cold is all better! Thanks again for everything!

CJ - good luck with your shots!!!!!!!!!

lou,

I am so sorry you are feeling so down. I know its hard to not think of the "what ifs". I am sending you all the PMA I can muster and keeping you in my prayers!

Also wanted to let you know, you inspired me to start working out again!. I work out at least 3 days a week, for about an hour each time. Thank you for the inspiration!
