I just had my ET and we transferred 4. One is a grade 1 while the other 3 were grades 3 with some fragmentation. I was hoping some of you ladies has some inspiring stories with low grade embryo transfers. I want to enjoy being PUPO, but at the same time I am hesitate since we only had 1 grade 1 with 5 cells and the other grade 3s.
Amanda, there are tons of success stories low grade embryo quality on the web, who not only have produced lovely little baby, but also twins. Pls don't be dishearten. Last month was my 3rd failed ivf attempt, next I am up for FET but all 3 are low grade. My RE assured me that most grading systems are subjective, it differs greatly even clinic to clinic. So please keep PMA. Sending loads of baby dust your way!

I did a day 3 transfer and we transferred all 5 embryos because it was feared that by day 5 none would be remaining. On day 3 they should be between 6 and 8 cells. We only had 1 8-celled, the rest were 5,4, and 3-celled.Not much fragmentation, but not growing. If I had great quality embryos my RE would not have transferred 5. Anyway, I became pregnant with a singleton, most likely from the 8-celled embryo. My best friend had tons of fragmentation and not very good quality embryos. She had 4 transferred and became pregnant with triplets. Her first beta was 480! Mine was 133. You can definitely become pregnant and have a perfect baby from a not-so-perfect embryo. Stay positive and relax!
I remember a gal from one of the IVF boards that i am on, was devastated with her transfer. They got to the clinic and the RE said that there wouldn't be a transfer because her embies were so poor, hadn't progressed at all from day 2. her and her husband decided heck they were already at the clinic and ready to transfer so they might as well transfer those suckers and see what happens. Of course she ended up with a BFP!! You never know what might happen.
Good Luck!!

I don't have a personal success story for you, but I have read of many stories where similar situations ended up with a healthy baby. Try to stay positive as much as possible.
