Franca – Congratulations! I am so happy for you and your DH. I can’t wait to hear the delivery details and see pictures!!!

PA_FA – Hang in there … we are having the ice storm right now and it is so very slippery. Gabriella and I are snug as a bug in our house. I was hoping that my DH wouldn’t have to go to work but oh no, his crazy job had him come in anyway. Oh well, I can’t wait for him to get home soon.

Elizabeth was 6lb 4oz. Franca is still being monitored for blood pressure. Not preeclampsia, just stress related and post op. She wanted me to upload a pic of the baby for her so here's Elizabeth!!!!!!!

And here is my update:

SIGH....still only 1cm. Baby is NOT engaging. She is having too much fun swimming. Dr won't even talk about inducing or c section until next week. At this point baby girl is close to 10lbs they think. OUCH! She's doing great but has no desire to come out to meet mommy and daddy. DH has to go to work tomorrow for 4 days. SIGH again. At least this time he will be in the states. Must keep my legs glued shut until he gets home.

PA_FA – Oh, how I know how anxious you are to meet her but she will be here before you know it and I will be celebrating!!! 1 cm today huh … well next week will be here before you know it. Please just hang in there for a little while longer. Stay safe out there because what we are having now in Ohio is coming your way!!! My DH said that it is horrible out there. All of the highways are closed down because of semi-trucks sliding off of the road not to mention cars as well.

Franca - Oh my goodness, how GORGEOUS is she?? So excited for you hun! Hope you are feeling better!

PA - AHHH!! I had those contractions at night for WEEKS before my c/s, so I know how bad they suck. I hope she stays put long enough for this storm to pass, but comes soon after!

Katie - oh friend, you will get that "failure" feeling throughout your mommyhood, trust me. But then you'll have days when you are so on top of things you will feel like you own the world. Those are the best days for sure. And he still doesn't like his bouncy? My girls pretty much live in theirs! I can tell they are getting bored (and yes they are not fans of tummy time but that's pretty common) but there's not much else they can do other than the playmat. I've tried the excersaucer and it is waaaay to big for them. They fall forward and hit their faces, and if I put a towel in there to make sure they don't, it's not like they can reach anything. I think I'm going to get a jumper, but I'll wait until they're bigger. I think they are right around the size Ryan was when he was a week or two old!

Steph - Hope you are feeling better!

Angela - UGH, that is so frustrating about the plane!! It will all work out in the end, but I really hope you don't get stranded. Atlanta is such a crappy airport to spend the night in.

Hazel - So glad George is doing well and likes the water! We have a pool so learning to swim is a big deal. Alex was so scared of the water and it took him a while. Scarlett was like a fish, and they are both great now. They were actually in the pool this afternoon!

Gi - Do you just take Kayla to a regular family doctor in Ireland? We have those here as well, but most people take their kids to pediatricians.

AFM - So yesterday Amelia was ravenous and ate every two hours. Today she is pretty much back to normal but started not feeling great in the afternoon. Not sure why exactly, if it's her head, gas, reflux, what, but hopefully she'll be better tonight. They don't eat quite as much as I think they should for their size (both around 10 pounds and eating an average of 22oz a day...for those of you with big babies, can you even fathom that??), but they seem to be growing fine. I don't worry about it since Scarlett was only 12 1/2 pounds when we got her at six months. She gained weight quickly once we got her, but she's always been tiny. Was 19 pounds at 1 year.

I just found a new pediatrician so they'll go there next month for their four month check up. I can't believe they will be 3 months on Thursday. Sooo crazy.

Babyluv - glad Amelia is feeling better now and yay for a new PED, especially after the way the last one was so wrong. OMG, Scarlett was sooo tiny when she came home to you! She's a dainty little girl.

Where did everyone go? I guess we're all way too busy now with the demands of these little ones. I try to read every day, but its so difficult sometimes. Ryan is doing great, he just discovered that he has feet and has them is his hands every chance he gets. He moved up to size 2 pampers today too, ah, he's growing up too fast already... he has decided that the fun way to entertain himself in the jumpy chair is to hop on one foot, which just makes me laugh! he's also decided that grabbing & pulling my hair is fun too - umm, not so much for me though, lol. And heres the emperor now demanding to be entertained..

Pa next i hope everything is going well.

Well ladies i finally made it online. so i got home on last friday evening. they were trying to keep me longer but i fought them. I just wanted to go home that hospital room is too small to be in a long period of time i was going nuts. So My baby and I are doing well just recovering now. SO i went in last week monday for induction and they started me on pitocin at 530 tues morning. they broke my water at 9 when i was only 2cm forcing me to have her soon. which didnt happen. my dr wasnt on call in the evening so she said to page her, well through out the whole evening once my dr left to go home about 2pm the nurses we're keeping her informed on my progression. So they finally call her when they thought i was 8 cm at 11pm and she comes in and checks me and says im only 6cm not 8. she says i all of a sudden have no room in my pelvis for baby to come out which when she broke my water she said i had plenty of room. so i knew something was wrong and changed. Then she says we're going to have to do a c section the progession has been too long and im not going anywhere. so then they bring me in for the csection and i swear it was horible blood was squirting on the sheet in my face and it felt like they were jumping on my chest. i was out on breath they were pushing so hard. they left my husband out of it and made him miss most of it and didnt get to cut the cord which he is upest about. i started throwing up and shaking like crazy. I ended up with a high fever and they didnt know what to do. I had to have a blood transfusion. the staff was awful and didnt know anything the dr on call was helping my ob and once my dr left my staples werent staying closed and the dr on call was wathing and didnt want to help them it was ridiculous. I was in and out of conciousness, it was like i kept falling asleep and waking up becuz they were trying to wake me. They couldnt get my bp so they were freaking and all yelling. they all were lieing to my mom and dh and kept them out the room saying i was ok and i wasnt i was unconcious. so awful they kept that from them, my dh came in anyways and saw me shaking and my eyes rolling in the back of my head. it was just awful. the next day my dr comes in to see me and says she almost had to do a hysterectomy how can they do that with out consent i would of been too made. then to find out they gave me an infection while i was in labor once she broke my water thats why my baby wouldnt fit out. her poor face was so swollen when they got her out. but now she's better thank god!! so my experience was just horrible. My whole lower extrermities had edema bad i looked like a total different person.

Natasha First CONGRATULATION!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! i am so sorry that you went trought this dificult time and a horrible experience, but I am glad that you and the baby are doing wonderfull and safe now. Enjoy being a mother and take it easy.

Babyluv – thanks for the words of encouragement for my business trip. I just want to go and get it over with. I am glad that you found a new pediatrician … and I don’t blame you one bit for looking for one after your experience. I surely hope that she starts to feel better soon!

Franca – Did you end up having a c-section or did you have to deliver vaginally? Please come back and tell us the details! I am happy to hear that both of you are doing well. Try to rest up as much as possible.

Katie – I hope that you are doing well. It sounds like Ryan is growing so fast … isn’t it so exciting to watch them grow! I keep looking at Gabriella’s pictures that we took in the hospital when she was a day old and I can’t believe how big she is now! Gabriella has started to grab things too. She loves to hold my necklace and my hair when I am holding her, especially at bath time.

Natasha – OMG … I am absolutely horrified with your experience! That is simply awful. Thank god you didn’t have to end up with a hysterectomy!!!! You definitely have grounds for a law suit. It sounds like there were a lot of incompetent people working at that hospital. I hope that you make a complete recovery soon! Are you still experiencing a fever or really sore right now? I just hope that your infection is completely cleared up. It sounds like the let you bleed way too much and that is why you needed that blood transfusion. Please check back in and let us know how you are progressing.

Jamila – Just look at your ticker go! You are just moving right along … before you know it we will be hearing about your birth story too!

Stephanie – I hope that you are doing well with those beautiful babies!

Ronda - How are you making it in this crazy ice/snowy weather? I know that you probably experience these storms right before they come to me. I only live 2 hours from Indianapolis, so I usually look at your weather reports first and then I know what to expect. Are you close to Indianapolis too?

AFM – Gabriella had a horrible night last night. She woke up every hour screaming on the top of her lungs. I kept thinking she was hungry or even sick but nothing seemed to soothe her except holding her. Oh well, I hope that she has a better night tonight. She seems to be doing just fine throughout the day, so I don’t think that she is sick … maybe she was just needy last night. I hope you ladies are doing well out there. I just heard on the news that we can expect another three inches of snow tomorrow night on top of the horrible ice storm that we just had.

Natasha - WOAH!!! That is BEYOND horrible!!! I am sooo glad you are all ok now, but oh my goodness, that's horrifying. My girlfriend had triplets and your experience sounds a little like hers (except she knew she was having a c/s). She was pretty much unconscious for 48 hours and they thought they were going to lose her a couple of times. Her baby C didn't even have a name for two days because they hadn't picked one ahead of time!

I was thinking of looking into a malpractice lawsuit. i think i definitely should just the fact that too much happened. it wasnt just one thing it was multiple. Just the thought of remembering the staff bicker with eachother about how the shift before left them with me and said i was ready and should be easy for the night shift and i turned out to be a hand full for them. it was just awful i get upset just thinking of it. im healing i go tomrw for removal of my staples and honesty i was debating on even going back to them. im just resting at home. dh has been catering to me =). he was so scared he thought they honestly were going to kill me, for a sec he said he thought i was dead cuz i had no color and was unconcious. scary

Angela nice to hear from you, thank you for the word of encouragement i am getting so nervous now i just can't wait to see her healthy. So when are leaving for your trip and are taking Gabriella with you? I think Gabriella is showing you that she is the princess in your house, and good luck with that. Take care and take it easy specially with this bad weather that you guys are having.



Natasha Nataliah is just beautifull and precious., take care and like you said you should consider a medical malpractice lawsuit, it is innaceptable that the staff was talking about you like that, they are pay to take care of you, and their behavior violated the HIPA policy, I work in a hospital and these type of violation could result to a suspension or termination. I am glad that you are ok now and safe at home.
