Natasha- OMG I also agree you have a large lawsuit. I am so sorry for the experience you went through. I think you definitely need to change OB immediately. You will have to see someone for after care and I want you to be with someone you feel comfortable with. I'm happy you and your beautiful daughter are at home. She is absolutely precious!

Katie- I'm here honey. DH is on a trip until Saturday. My friend is here with me until tomorrow. Tonight we made lasagna from scratch and froze a batch of it for when the in laws come after the baby.

Babyluv- What an awful pediatrician. It's so scary that we never know exactly what to expect with our most precious things. I'm glad you found a new Dr. I hope everything goes much smoother from here on in.

Steph- Are you feeling better yet hon?

AFM- NO news. After my OB on Tuesday...did I update you all? I can't remember any more. Anyhow, they think she is close to 10lbs now. Dr will not talk about induction or c section yet. He says she's doing fine. OH great...how big are you going to let her get? I have another NST tomorrow. She hasn't dropped yet so they say they can't induce because it would result in an automatic c section. I honestly wonder if she can drop? Is her head too big? Is my pelvis too small? Every time I roll over in bed my pelvis cracks. Sometimes when I am rolling over and I'm on my back for a second I can hardly breathe she's so heavy. I'm getting scared that she isn't thriving. I guess I'll know more at my next OB on Feb 8. SIGH....I was just hoping to have her by then. I'm really scared that if she keeps gaining weight like she has been that she will end up close to 12lbs. That's just so wrong. LOL

Sorry if I missed anyone. Love to you all and I hope everyone is well.

PA_FA – I am so happy to hear that you are still doing well with all of this crazy weather that we are having. So she still isn’t engaged yet huh? Would you mind if you end up with a c-section? It definitely seems like a theme with us for sure. I was looking back on all of the deliveries and I think all but two were vaginal. I am sure that something should be happening for you very soon! When is your next appointment?

Natasha – Nataliah is just beautiful! Congratulations again! Oh, I am serious … you should look into a lawsuit because you don’t want this to happen to anyone else. It will not hurt to call a lawyer and tell them your story. They will tell you if you have a case or not.

Jamila - Yes, Gabriella is the princess of this house for sure. I am planning to fly out to Vegas for business on Mon, Feb. 21st. I wish that I could take her but my DH can't get the time off from work to fly out with me. I know that I will be so depressed while I am there without the both of them. But, I just want to go and get it over with. Lol ... as I was typing this, she started screaming from her crib. But, I am back now. Anyways, yes, it will be your time soon and I can't wait to see your little beautiful daughter too. Take care everyone!

Nat that sounds awful omg...Everything is good now try not to think about it hun look forward and please rest.

Well guys my mother and father was definitely watching over us. My experience was fantastic. My waters broke on Sunday morning about 4 (at the time I just thought it was urine) then i had a on and off leakage so at 9 30 Sunday morning I phoned the hospital and they told me to go in so I did. I had stress test and there weren’t any contractions but i needed to be seen by drs who wanted to do a internal to see if my waters did brake as they couldn’t tell. When my dr did she said my cervix was open and i was 4 cm dilated. We couldn’t believe it as I had not experienced any pain. At 5 in the late afternoon i went down to theatre for my c section. They prepared me and Elizabeth was born at 5 40. Was weird all I felt was some tugging? Ofc I was shitting myself and very anxious. My BP was high because of it and on the tues eve they didn’t let me go until it went down. I had a tablet and they monitored me for 2 hours then let out. Now i feel sore like everyone else who has had a section and totally head over heals in love :D

I'm so glad i could write a good experience as you don’t get to hear that much so PA you will be fine just keep positive :)

Thank you girls for your support and brilliant news im in the motherhood club

Lots of love

Congrats Franca! So glad Elizabeth is here safe and sound!

Natahsa, OMG you had a horrible experience. I am glad your little one is here safe and sound (she is gorgeous by the way). Try and rest up and take care of yourself.

Angela, yeah the weather here yucky!. I live about 3 hrs north of Indianapolis, we got all that blizzard business. My road is a one lane snow tunnel right now. Thank god for four-wheel drive!

PAFA, come on momma, we need to see that little one....10lbs huh? Wowza, that's a big one!

Thanks Tammy! Rhonda- I know right??? She just keeps growing. I think she wants to come out in spring. Good thing the groundhog didn't see his shadow.
Franca- I'm happy you are home and I could help update everyone for you. Sorry I forgot to update the Feb 2011 page. Can't expect pregnancy brain to work all the time.

AFM- Went to my NST today. My OBs wife is a nurse there. She said she would work on my Dr getting the baby out this week if I would work on getting him to take her to the football games he has box seats for. LOL SO it's a deal. :) I am seriously scared she's going to be close to 11lbs if they make me wait till 40w. Either way...she is doing fine. Lots of movement. I have another fluid check on Tuesday, NST and OB the same day. I hope she comes next week. DH will be home tomorrow and is off work until March. It feels like she is taking her tiny fingers and poking my bladder. It hurts so much sometimes. Come on baby girl....don't you wanna see your first SuperBowl Game????

Natasha - Nataliah is just perfect! You must be so proud.. spite the horrible hospital experience! Oh I am so sorry for that... definitely make sure the right people hear about that! The important thing is that you and her are healthy and home!

Franca - CONGRATS!! I saw your pics on FB.. so cute!!! You must be so proud!

Sorry I can't keep up lately ladies! Between being sick and keeping up with things around here, it's just so hard these days. Now that the babies are up more, they demand so much more attention and of course, one falls asleep and the other one wakes up and vise versa. Where does the time go? I am sitting here writing this at almost 1am and I have to be up bright eyed and bushy tailed for an appt at 9am 45 minutes away. lol It's pamper mom day though, so I will suck it up. It's much easier to keep up with you all on FB with a comment here and there. lol I love and miss you all!

YAY LOU!!!! Congrats on your BFP!!! LOVE YOU!!!!

Hello ladies!

Natasha and Franca-CONGRATS!!!! Such beautiful girls, just like their mommas

Natasha-I am so sorry you had such a terrible experience. I am so glad you are both doing okay and are safely recovering at home. Nataliah will just steal your heart with all the cute things she'll do-I love that she already gave you a little laugh. How fun! Rest up as much as you can and rely on DH-sounds like he already knows to pamper both of his princesses.

Franca-I'm so glad things went well for you. I know you were very nervous about everything but it worked out just as it should. Elizabeth is just perfect. How is DH enjoying daddyhood? He looks smitten in the picture

Hazel-It is good to hear from you. You sound like you are on overload with the new house and a busy George. 18 lbs?! I hope my babies hold off on that size or I will need to start working out more just to carry them around. Are you all situated in the house already? Did you go crazy on the nursery for George? The face after going underwater must be hilarious-I can imagine the "WTH" mommy look!

Gi-Kayla is the envy of the board-a 4 hour nap? Gotta love that! She is my kind of girl, I could nap every day for a few hours at a time. Is she still growing like a weed? You did not say that you usually do 500 sit ups a day?! I'm lucky to do 20 before my flabby belly cries for relief. I'm hoping when the weather gets nice that I can walk/jog or just motivate to exercise some. The extra 10 lbs.is driving me crazy-I can't fit in my work pants. UGH!

Babyluv-I'm glad to hear from you. I can imagine how busy you are with your kiddos. I struggle juggling with my 7 year old and the babies some days so I can only imagine two kids and two babies. Your right, some nights it just has to be loud to meet everyone's needs. I would be so angry with the doc. for missing a diagnosis like that. I hope the new ped. is much better for you. How was Disney with all the kids? My daughter has been begging to go but I think it will be quite a while before we make that kind of trip. She would love to live close enough to just go some weekend-how fun!

Katie-You must have arms of steel with all the shoveling you're doing! Of course we want our babies to stay small but wouldn't it be nice to have Ryan as a little snow shovel helper? Is he doing any better with napping or are you still on the all day sprint with the emperor?

Angela-Can you believe how quickly time flies? It still amazes me that I am already back to work-12 weeks sounded like a long time until it actually came and went. I can't believe your boss isn't more flexible about when you get home when you are going back early to work. It sounds like Gabriella needed some extra love the other night-you must be exhausted from the up and down every hour. I hope you are getting rest time at some other time so you don't get run down.

PA-Are you going crazy with the waiting in these final days? It would be nice if she would show up with DH off work. Will you have other family around to help when she comes? I'm excited to see just what she weighs since they are giving you 10 lbs. right now. Come on baby-we're ready to meet you!

Steph-I'm sorry that you all haven't been feeling well. It is so hard when you feel sick because the world doesn't stop and moms just have to suck it up. Hopefully you did some time to rest and recover. I'm on facebook too so I'll have to PM everyone and get connected there-it is easier to do a quick comment and keep up with everyone.

Lou-YEAH!!!!! I am so excited about your BFP    That is the best news-we are going to stalk you for nine months now!

Tammy-I thought I saw you did your ER yesterday...how did it go? I have my fingers crossed for you! How is your little boy doing? I bet he is just growing way to fast and full of total cuteness!

Ronda-I think I need to borrow the 4 wheel drive-we got a crazy amount of snow and had three snow days. Did your girls miss some school time with the weather? I am so ready for spring!

AFM-Well, I finally found time to post at 4 am because I feel like I have the stomach flu. Yeah, let the good times roll  I went back to work 2 weeks ago and it has been crazy busy since then. Luckily my mother-in-law came the first week to watch the babies. It helped so I could get around and get my DD ready for school without worrying about the babies getting ready. My MIL only crossed a few boundaries-she washed laundry and dried ALL of my clothes, including my sweaters. She also opened the bathroom door while I was toweling off from my shower-and NO knock before entering. Okay, so I am grateful for her help so no more complaining! The babies are doing great-they are smiling and laughing all the time. They keep me busy because they haven't yet coordinated nap time-one will sleep for a short time and then the other. So I have one to entertain at all times. And they both think mealtime is the perfect time to demand full attention. I'm pretty good at juggling now so they sit with me and just get a few crumbs in their hair while I'm eating  We did get 3 snow days off of school-yeah for being home but boo for the awful weather. I am wishing for spring every day!! I am on FB so I need to connect with you all-I am much better about quick updates and photos.

I am thinking of you all-hope you are doing well! Take care ;) And PA...can't wait for your news!!

Hey ladies,

Again sorry for mia but we dont have a personal computer at home and i have to rely on jasons work laptop to check up on you guys and he is just soooo busy lately i never get to log on!!!

Katie as far as i know the offical name for an irish dance is literally "Irish Dancing" some call it a jig or a reel but basically its Irish dancing. Ahhhh my little girl is growing up too, Kayla has been on size 2 pampers since 3 wks old!! and we are now onto size 3!!! She is weighing over 13lbs and in 6-9mth baby clothes, though some 3-6mth do still fit, nobody belives she is only 10wks old she is getting so freaking huge and sturdy looking and her hair while she has a little bald patch at the back she still has loads and it literally stands up on her head

Natasha firstly congrats on your little girl she is utterly adoreably but omg your birth sounded horrendous you poor divil i hope you are recovering both mentally and physically....and staples ouch!!! i had dissovable stiches.

Franca what a beautiful birth like mine it was text book perfect!!

Sara ah what little cuties!!!! yeah Kayla sure does love her naps shes over 2hrs into her 3rd nap today though the other naps were only about an hour long, if she doesnt get at least one 3hr nap a day she isnt a happy camper!!! Yep i always did 500 sit ups a day it keeps my tummy nice and flat, i am back up to 150 a day so far but taking it easy!!

Steph i hope you are feeling better, i still couldnt imagine how busy twins must be!!

PA oh girl are you the last girl standing!!!! Come on baby show your face  i have to admit she sounds as stubborn as Kayla though not nearly as big sounds like she may take Kaylas place as heaviest baby  As i said before i never engaged, and when the cut me open the doc said wow what a big head she has, jason stood up and had a look and said it was soooo freaky looking at her head and she still inside!!!

Angela i hope Gabrielle had a better night, you must have been exhausted.

LOU again Big Big Congrats xxxx

AFM thankfully Kayla still loving her naps she needs at least 3 a day and one of those has to be at least 3 hrs long or she is grumpy, most days she is great but the odd day she can let herself get too tired if she misses a nap and the only way to get her off to the land of nod is pop her in her buggy and go for a short stroll, i had to do that today as she got up at 9am had a nap at 11am for 1 hr then didnt nap in early afternoon so at 5pm i popped out with her for a short stroll and it knocked her out!!! But on Thurs the little fecker didnt nap all day (so unusal) that on Friday she was so tired she had napped from 11am till 5pm then back down for night at 7pm!! I may get my act together and organise her christening am thinking 2nd week in March so may get j to ring the priest and see if church is free, the weeks are just flying by and before i know it i will be back at work  ah well had to happen sooner or later i cant believe i am off work nearly a full year!!!

Right gotta go have dinner,

Hey ladies, just popping in quickly to check in but have no time to post personals to everyone. Crazy busy days trying to get ready for the house move - we are moving over Tuesday and Wednesday so we are down to our last few days to sort things out and try and get things in good order. Good order? I must be kidding myself - we have thrown out/sorted through a ton of stuff and the house is still a cluttered tip!

Anyway, I promise to re-engage' with all of you as soon as I can. But in the meantime:

natasha - I can't get over what a horrific experience you had. You poor thing - labour isn't really much fun but at least there should be parts of joy, particularly at the moment of the birth, which I imagine they completely deprived you of with the way they handled your situation. I hope you are healing well and that the beautiful Nataliah is managing to take your mind off what happened.

Franca - I'm so happy for you and DH, and what a nice smooth birth as well! Elizabeth is such a sweetheart. Are you loving being a Mummy?

hey mommas!!
I havent seen anything on pa today. maybe i scanned to fast thru the page. I hope all is well. I wanna thank you all for you comments. I am definitely trying to look past what I went thru but at the same time I dont want to forget about it and not do anything. But im resting up and looking forward. Nataliah has been in china time up every hr at night and sleep the entire day where i have to wake her up to feed her. Its getting better though no complaints I just start my day at noon now. She a pretty active baby just like she was in my stomach. SHe can already pick her head up and move and roll. she's wakening more everyday now. Time is already flying by she's almost two weeks already. I noticed one asked me about the staples. I was suprised to i thought it would be stiches. That hospital I tell you. Those staples were very uncomfortable by pinching me every move I made.

I hope all of you and the babies are doing great and staying warm. I cant wait for the snow to finally stop and spring come already so we can go outside with our little ones. staying coped up in the house is getting boring.

karen- how are you feeling these days?

lou- Congrats on the BFP!!

Hello everyone – I will do personals tomorrow. I just wanted to stop in and say Gabriella had her 8 week peds appointment today, which means she had her immunization shots :( . So far, no fever but she has been very whiney. I just hope that she doesn’t have any bad side effects from her shots. My DH said that he would take her to her appointment and I thought long and hard about it but I felt like she might need me so I went anyway. I would love to hear from you mommies who have already taken your babies for their shots if they had any reactions. Oh, she is now up to 9.03 pounds and is 20 inches long! Gabriella has grown so much from weighing 4.12 pounds at birth! Thanks!
