Hi everyone...

Only two more sleeps before my beta on Friday. Other than being a bit tired and a few gagging spells here and there, I feel very normal. I'm trying to keep some PMA and hope alive but also be prepared to deal with the news if it's bad. I know the odds weren't in my favor. One 8 celled embie to transfer. I do have some hope because I did have some cramping at 5-7 dpo. That's why I POAS at 8 dpo like an idiot. Negative, of course. Brought me down so much that I won't do it again. I'm going to wait for that beta call. I just hope I can leave work early on Friday so I can get the news some place other than there. I'm glad DH and I both have the weekend free so we can celebrate or drown our sorrows one way or the other. This is my 4th IVF cycle and 6th transfer. It was my worst cycle as far as follies, E2 level, embies, etc. I planned on it being my last cycle but if it's BFN, then I hate to go out on my worst cycle. I don't know what we'll do. Why am I already thinking about this?

Thank you all for supporting me during my cycles. Most of the ladies I've cycled with are either pregnant, have babies, or are moving onto a donor cycle. I just don't know what the right thing to do next for me is.

I need to get back to work. Love you all. XOXO

Lou - I know it is hard and scary but keep your PMA and I pray that you and DH will be celebrating this weekend. A former cycle buddy got preggers with one day 3 embie that did not look as good as yours! :)

LOU - I'm sending you tons of baby dust your way :D Don't read to much into POAS, cause I was pregnant with a ectopic pregnancy and had a negative reading. Plus, I think you POAS to soon cause that would = 11 days for a 3day transfer 8 days after.. Just take it one day @ a time, easier said then done. I had a blast cycle fail and I've been preggo 3 x's on my own before. Now I'm 36 weeks with a 3 day embryo. To be honest I'm not a fan of blasts, I feel the 3 day embryo does better inside our tummies than outside. When I had my blast cycle 13 embryos almost all made it to day 3 and only 2 made it to blast , not sure if it was the culture or my embies. Just my opinion. Good luck to you and DH, we are all thinking of you. :)

Well, the baby dust seems to have worked.... my beta today at 14dpo was 290!!!!

I go back on Monday for another. Please pray for a good rise for me. We are cautiously optimistic. Who would have thought 1 little 8 celled embie is all it really takes?

Thank you everyone who helped me get here. Thanks for keeping me sane... for your support... for your PMA when mine was running low.... for your assistance with meds on my last two cycles.... and for being my friends.

XOXO

Thank you Michelle, Rio, Jenice, kerribell, and SD!

SD -- I know! It amazes me how many people have been working to try to get me pregnant for a year and a half. Two acupuncturists, RE, OB, countless nurses, DH, BFF, and all my friends here. I don't know if it's so much that I'm special or that people just feel very sorry for me...lol. I must say I looooove your outlook and am trying to take from it. I want so badly to enjoy this pregnancy but after my loss last year I'm terrified to get too attached. I made a ticker, so that's step one. My first u/s for hearbeat check is 2/22, that's step two. And I also made an OB appt for 3/9. That's step three. After that I think I'll be able to start fantasizing and looking at baby things.

Lou - I vote for special! I am with you, I wish I could enjoy things more sometimes but I always feel scared something will happen so I completely understand how you feel. This board is so full of wonderful women with great experiences but also full of wonderful women with great losses. I celebrate every step as a success and I think you are doing just that. It is hard not to get too much ahead but what I want to say is if you catch yourself daydreaming about the nursery or thinking names, try to let go of your fears and let yourself enjoy, your baby can feel it too. Allow yourself those guilty pleasures. It is important to stay grounded but sometimes I feel I missed out on so much for being too grounded. Don't miss out on this wonderful feeling, talk to your baby, daydream, enjoy!

SD you are an inspiration and I love your ticker! Thanks for reminding us of what's important!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
