I have a question for you ladies. I think I have a yeast infection so can I use the over the counter meds? If not what can I use? I just don't want to mess anything up while I am in my 2 ww. Any advice would be great and sorry if this is TMIF.

Amanda~ I think I have one too, I've never had one before so I can't tell if it is one or just irritation from all the procedures this week, or if it is a real YI caused by my antibiotics. Anyway, my NPRE told me I could use otc Mo.nistat and apply it externally only.

I hope you get some relief soon!

Thanks I sent my nurse a message but haven't heard back yet. I usually get one right before my AF but I am hoping it is from the antibiotics & the ET. I am going to wal-mart for some yogurt & monistat I hope you feel better soon too. this sucks!

amanda.. about the yeast infection... I had one when I was pregnant years ago and I do remember there are some safe options. I hope your doc or nurse calls you soon. You may just have to settle for some topical relief for a few days and eat lots of active culture yogurt. Take care PUPO momma.

AFM... I went for u/s earlier today and have two decent follies on my right... but they still aren't ready. They still couldn't see the left at all. I'm not feeling very hopeful about this cycle honestly... but I'm not as upset as I thought I would be. I had a very pragmatic talk with my RE over the phone and told him I didn't want to waste money on an IUI with only one mature follicle... even two. I know at my age the chances of one of them being "perfect" to fertilize is small. After all, I have been getting one or two follicles every cycle I am on clomid and still no pregnancy. He agreed that I need to "bump it up" and get 4 or 5 to get one good baby. I thought that is what we were doing this cycle - going full injectables and pushing my ovaries to produce.. but apparently they changed their mind at the last minute when they put me on clomid first. I had a feeling it wouldn't work. So now I need to decide to just wait out this cycle (timed BD of course, but no IUI) and do we do a heavier med cycle next time or should I just hold out and save up for donor egg IVF. DH and I talked about it this evening and I think he is okay with DE - several months ago neither of us wanted that.. but now it may be our only chance. Soo... nothing major going on... just decisions to make for our future.

Rio...I did forget to update about my friend's little boy, Zach. Sorry. He had surgery and they removed a lot of his left lung...but the good news is that it came back NOTCANCER!!! Woohooo!!!! They are extremely relieved.

Nwquiz...Actually, we haven't gone out much in the past month, at all. We are usually out and about every day including during the winters...and no sickness. Must be from being cooped up. lol As sick as he was yesterday and this morning...he is perfectly fine now. I ended up cancelling his appt this afternoon. Yayy!

Carol...I know of a few people who put back 1 and got twins. I've heard it is more common among IVF'ers for some reason....though I have no idea if that is really true or not. I think I heard it has to do with the ICSI process. I'm sorry about the shy ovary and the possibility of cancelling. When do you go back? I am praying for you.
