Thanks for the kind thoughts. Sorry for you summit as well. Will you continue with IVF? Paying for it is rough (my insurance didn't cover any) but you may find drs who will give " discounts" and even other women that will donate their remaining Stims/ drugs. Which does help. Good luck to you

Egg and Dallas- congratulations. That is great news and praying for good beta numbers!

I hope to speak to the dr this week. Obviously there is something wrong with my body. And I guess I just need answers.
I have been on vacation this week and am dreading going back to my office where I have to see my friend and coworker that just announced her pregnancy with twins (which she got pregnant by accident) to top it off, I turn 39 this week which only adds to my frustration and sadness. Think it's going to be a rough go for a while.

Enough of my lamenting... Good luck to everyone! Will be sending lots of prayers your way.

I have the ovulation triggered tonight. The whole stimulation lasted 13 days. This cycle is particular hard because I had injections twice a day and 3 shots in the last 8 days. I am now waiting for ER on Monday. In my 2nd IVF, my beta was measured positive after 2WW but it did not last long. They call such phenomenon as chemical pregnancy.

I am so sorry for you. I always eagerly want to know what is wrong with my body after the negative. I really hate the doctor saying, “it is ok”, “everything is normal and your reaction is among average”, etc. I have done 3 IVFs at the same clinic. If I am going to try the 4th, I will certainly change another clinic.

I am going to have an ER on 2.7 and the ET may be on 2.9. Good luck to us!

On the contrary, I think the term "chemical" is netural, which make me feel less bad. I will feel more guilty if I think I "miscarry". Anyway, they are just words. Looking forward to the ER. Good luck to you too.

To those that got BFP, congratulations! My test was negative for my first IVF. I am devestated, but we're going to try again.

This is the first time through and my husband spoke with the Dr. to hear of the test result, so I didn't get to ask all my questions. It sounds like we can start on the period after this. Does that sound right? Anyone know what the usual wait is between cycles?

just come back from the ER, a quick update: 17 eggs were collected but don't know their quality. ET is planned on WE. My belly is hurting and the lower is burning. Not really comfortable.

MY BETA WENT FROM 31(12DPO) TO 117 (14DPO) TODAY! WILL HAVE AN ULTRASOUND IN 2WKS!

Hopingon- so sorry for your news. It is hard to hear and accept, especially after all we have been thru. Usually the DR wants you to take a month off before trying another cycle. good luck to you next time.

Dallas- that is excellent news. I am so happy for you after so much struggle.

I went to DR today for follow up but I already knew the news as AF started this morning. what is really depressing is that the DR says he has done all he can for me. So basically I am on my on. He thinks there is only a slim chance I will conceive without donor egg. Right now, that is financially not an option. What I don't understand is why now all the sudden my eggs are bad My FSH, follicular ct, progesterone, uterine lining, mucus, etc have all looked great with no issues. so why can't I get pregnant? Ugh

Layers- have you thought about changing clinics?? I dont know if it would help, but I cant imagine the Dr. saying he's done all he can do. I will send thoughts of encouragement your way.

2nd Hcg was good, can't recall number. Will have another one Friday. Wonder when they will refer me to my OB? Hope everyone else is doing okay.

Thank you for remembering me. The ET went well but I was disappointed with the fertility report. Among 17 eggs they collected, only 5 were mature and 3 were fertilised. What a pity number. I had to make up my mind between to have 2 or 3 transferred on the spot. How stress it was. But anyway, I have chosen to have 2 transferred and 1 frozen. Let’s wait and see what it turn out.
Our clinc send us to OB after a 4- week pregnancy is confirmed.
