Dallas --- Heck Yeah! Great beta!!! We are probably going to share a due date. I look forward to going on this adventure of pregnancy with you.

krcaja -- Thank you!!! I'm very happy with my doubling time.

AFM -- Beta was 780 today which is a doubling time of 50.4 hrs. My u/s is on Tuesday 2/22. It's going to be a loooong two weeks!

lou- that's awesome doubling time.. i see from your sig that you too had a late m/c.. i've had days lately where it's hard to not feel haunted by mine.. it was a missed m/c. they figure it died around wk 8 but because i only had an u/s at week 6, we didn't know.. i LOVE your ticker and your pesonal message to your baby on it .. totally makes me smile.

so i'm 8 wks 1 day along today. i only know this through the u/s as the cycle i got pg in - it was totally confusing when i ovulated...i'm not sure.. and it was weird cause i had just been for an antral follie count at my new IF clinic and we saw 2 follies way ahead of the pack ('pack'.. lol.. i use the term loosely, as there was a total of 8, which is low, but actually for me i was happy with that number).. so i'm not even sure if it was one of those 2 large ones that 'made' the 'golden egg' or what? so you'd think i would have ovulated early, but according to the u/s ovulation date was dec 12. which is only 2 days early than the standard 14 days prior to ovulation/retrieval. it's so funny that i still think of 'ER' and DPT when i'm tracking the timing of this pregnancy.

so i've read that some have lost their appetite? gawd, i'm eating constantly. i said to my DH 'if we end up having a m/c, i'm going to be quite fat and without a purpose for it!' but seriously, i find eating keeps my nausea at bay. haven't vomited, but came close many times.

what kinds of symptoms are others having now? and who else goes through u/s withdrawals?? lol, i'm sure we all do.

Karen -- I just tried the ticker thing to see if I could help you. Once you make your ticker on Lilypie, choose the BBC code above the box and copy and paste the code in your siggy. Make sure the box below in the control panel has the box Disable BBCode UNCHECKED.
Let's see if this works...


I don't know which egg was your "golden one" but my guess is, that it would have been the largest of the pack that would have been the one that was "chosen" to ovulate.

AFM -- I am having waves of nausea already. Had NONE at all with my last pregnancy that ended in m/c at 12 weeks. I'm also having very mild cramps off and on. I can't eat a lot but I can't go with an empty stomach either. I didn't expect to notice these things this early. Although I was already starting with nausea 3 full days before my beta. It's going to be a looong wonderful 9 months, isn't it?

sorry to hear you have nausea already.. i had small waves of it early in pregnancies, but it never got 'serious' til around wks 7-9... i had a few rough days last week but now it's mostly settled. funny how when i feel sick- i feel awful, but reassured that i'm still PG, and when i feel better- i physically am grateful, but worried if i'm still PG.. lol. enough to make a person crazy heh?

hello ladies...going today for another beta. I requested it. I cant wait until next week for my u/s to see if everything is ok. I want a beta test to make sure the little bean is still growing!!! I will drop back in later!! I hope everyone is well and baby dust to all!

krcaja -- I can't wait for my u/s either. I am only having two betas. It's tough to wait but I guess the truth is, it's completely out of our control at this point. Can't wait for your awesome beta report! You need a ticker!!!!

Dallas -- How are you? Do you get any more betas or just the two? I think we both had ER on 1/21, right? If so, then we share a due date as well.

Karen -- I agree... I see the nausea as a sign that I'm pregnant and hormones are rising. I had very little nausea yesterday and today so far. I don't know how I'll get through the wait until my u/s.

My beta today was 23,005!!! Yipee!! So that's 29 days past ovulation. I will get a ticker after my u/s. Kinda waiting to see if I need one baby or two!!

krcaja-Wow! Awesome Beta! I have only had the 2 betas with u/s scheduled for 21st. I would love to have another beta, but scared to request it... I dont want to seem so worrisome to the staff. My retrieval was on the 23rd. We arent so far apart. Good luck!

hi all, krcaja!! awesome beta- you must be over the moon with excitement ...it's such a great 'high' after great news... but, lol. like lou said- i'm not sure how i'm gonna make it til my next u/s.. i have a standing order for beta tests at our labs here (thanks to my great OBGYN who just wants me to feel reassured when i need it), but at this stage (after 6-7wks), beta's are progressively less predictive of pregnancy health... ugh. wish it wasn't that way.. u/s 's are the way to go and i just got mine next scheduled for feb 21, so those will be a busy couple days for us on here with updates, and , of course, freaking out prior to that!!!

lou, i hope it's not in bad taste for me to inquire about your m/c ? you said you didn't have much for pg symptoms, but i'm curious if you had /how many u/s's you had, if a heartbeat was seen ect.. but again, if you'd rather not talk about, i totally understand. afm, with my 12 wk m/c, i had a u/s at 6.5 wks, growth on track, h/b only 90 which is on the low side. they think it died at 8 wks, but i had no other u/s's before 12 wk m/c.

I hope its ok to join? I was on the Fall 2010 forum where I got a BFN on my first try at IVF. I had my FET at the end of Jan and GOT a BFP on the 8 Feb . I am still in shock and cannot believe its real.

Karen -- It's ok to ask me about my m/c. I had an u/s at 6w5d which showed the embie was measuring a few days behind but I was told not to worry aobut that. The heart beat was there but RE doesn't measure the rate that early. I had no pregnancy symptoms at all and that worried me constantly. I had another u/s at OB's office at 9w5d. The baby was still measuring a few days behind and the heart rate was 146 at that time. At 11w6d I had a tiny bit of brown spotting which intensified by evening. I did call my OB but had an appt the next day anyway which they told me to keep but to go to the ER if I had red blood or cramping. That evening, I went to the ER and was diagnosed with a fetal demise. I did see my OB the next day and was scheduled for a D&C the next day. That night around 11PM, I started cramping something horrible. I was in so much pain I couldn't stand up. DH took me to the hospital where they admitted me and kept me in IV narcotics until morning. My D&C was moved up from 10AM to 8AM. I felt so much better as soon as it was over. I was 12w1d at that time. The placenta had completely detached. I had genetic testing done and it came back a male with Trisomy 18. I really don't want to lose this one! That's why I welcome the symptoms.

Osi -- I remember cycling with you! Welcome! Please join us! Our due dates will be just a few days apart too. I'm due 10/14.

DALLAS -- Yep, we're 2 days apart then! I think you're u/s is the day before mine. Mine is 2/22. RE wanted to do it on 2/21 but I have a work retreat from 8AM-4PM that day that is mandatory.

krcaja -- What were your first two betas and on what dpo's? If the doubling time was quite a bit less than 48 hrs, then you very well may have more than one! When is your u/s?

AFM -- Took another HPT this morning at 20 dpo. I was relieved to see two dark lines there. This wait for an u/s is tough. How's everyone feeling? I feel a bit tired but otherwise pretty good. Except I gag like crazy when trying to brush my teeth. LOL

My first beta was 345 @ 16 dp ER, 1565 @ 20 dp ER, 4297 @ 23 dp ER, and 23,005 @ 29 dp ER. My u/s is this tuesday 2/15. I will be 7 weeks.

Lou - thanks for the welcome, I should be due 10/18.

AFM - the symptoms are driving me crazy. I have sore boobs, bloated with gas, tired, nausa but its the constant peeing that is drivng me mad. However i just want them to get worse and continue, so i know everything is ok. The wait for the scan is just as bad that the 2ww!
