Hi mama's

Thank you so much for all the congratulations and for cheering me on. My beta was 780 today which is a doubling time of 50 hrs. My nurse said RE was very happy with that. Now I have that 2ww for the heartbeat u/s. Seems I have so far to go.

All of you have such beautiful babies. I'm so happy for everyone!

Miss you all... I'll be posting on the Fall pregnancy board if all goes well as my due date is 10/14/11.

XOXO

Lou- YEA for an October baby. It's my favorite month. That's DHs birthday and when we got married.

OK ladies...nothing to report. Good Superbowl game, bad national anthem, not so great half time show. LOL Today we went to a local police station where they do car seat checks. We wanted to make sure that it was installed correctly. Our hospital will have nothing to do with the seats. The cop said it was perfect...hooked to the LATCH system and all. So that was great. Tomorrow DH will put a base in my car.
Tomorrow morning I have a NST and fluid check. The last check my fluid had decreased into normal levels so they are not worried about polyhydramnios any more. I'm still freaking out that she is going to be huge. She still has not dropped. I really think her head is just too big. Between weeks 32-36 she gained 3.6lbs instead of the "normal" 2lbs. If she did that again, at 40w she would be 11lbs 15oz. It kind of freaks me out. I mean...really...come on. I plan on BEGGING my OB tomorrow to get her out. I really love being pregnant, I love feeling my baby move and I am so happy I got to experience my ultimate dream. I'm just ready for the next step. Sometimes when I think about the fact that I will see my baby soon I get so overwhelmed I cry. I think about what my first words to her will be. Should I tell her that mommy has waited her entire life to meet her? I probably won't even be able to say anything. I'll just cry...I'm a crier. Heck, I'm crying now. :D
After the peri apt for the NST and the fluid check, I have an OB apt. I will fill you all in just as soon as I get home. XOXO

Hello ladies!

Long time no hear from, I know. The older these two get, the more demanding. I find time for those quick updates on FB but just can't do long personals like I use to. Most of you are on FB which I love, it's much easier to stalk you all there. lol Have you seen the video of Ethan I posted on there? He is grabbing t everything now. Lina is right behind him... she is grabbing but not really reaching. She still spits up but seems it is just a bad case of reflux and we have to wait for her to grow out of it. If it is a big issue like GERD, then at a year if it isn't any better, they will do surgery to correct it since it will be a quality of life issue then. If she has it that long, then she will have it all her life and we don't want that. I wish she didn't have this issue, it stops her from tummy time completely and it's slowing her down motor wise. Oh well, she is still on track, I just wish she was going at the same pace as Ethan. He can amuse himself until he passes out in the jumpy. It's so cute! I gotta say, my favorite time with them is putting them to sleep. I hold them and it is the most precious time I get with them. Of course I only have room to hold one at a time so it's normally Lina that goes first then Ethan. He is up much more than her. I am sure it has to do with his weight.

Andrew and I get to go a marriage retreat this weekend, a special Valentine's weekend retreat. It is suppose to include things like a free couple's massage. I'm not sure what else but it 's suppose to be full of fun and relaxing stuff. I can't wait... though I will miss the babies like crazy! My neighbor will be watching them. She is great with them, but that won't make leaving them much easier. Leaving them just to take a nap makes me feel guilty. Anyone else feel like that?

Pa - I am following you on FB, eating all that spicey food trying to make that little girl come out. I can't wait to see how big she is today. If they thought she was 10lbs before, she has to be estimating bigger now. They should definitely induce!

Karen - They are calling for another storm here believe it or not. So I am going to make sure that it has past before sending out the package. I hope you are feeling well!

Lou - So how is the morning sickness? I saw you had gotten sick in the other thread. I can't wait till I hear the news on the heartbeat. Seems we are always waiting for something huh? lol Don't worry, you got this girl. I know you will worry anyway, but you have a hell of a team rooting you on.

Ok, fighting with Verizon wireless now... gotta go.

Everyone else, I miss you and love you tons and bunches. Kiss all those fuzzy heads for me! :)

Babyluv – I hope that you are doing well! I hope that your friend is doing much better!

Natasha – how is motherhood going for you? I hope that you are feeling better from your delivery! How is Nataliah doing?

Franca – I am so relieved to hear that you had a good delivery experience! She just couldn’t wait until your delivery date to arrive, huh? I guess she knew that there was a mum and dad who loves her sooo very much that she had to come out and meet the both of you! Congratulations again … her pictures are just beautiful!

Tammy – it is great to hear from you! I hope that you are doing well too!

Ronda – Oh wow! So you are up towards Chicago! I know a lot of people up there and you guys can get some bad winter weather there.

Lou – Your second beta is just fantastic! I am so very thrilled for you and your DH. You sooooo deserve it!

Sara – OMG – the pictures are just gorgeous of all three of your babies! Yes, I am shocked from my manager’s actions also, especially considering she just had a baby last March and has a daughter who is only two! You would think that I could expect more out of here than that!

Gi – how is the organization of the christening going? I will have to do the same thing in a few months. I was thinking of having hers in April because I will be going back to work in March and I am sure very overwhelmed once again.

Hazel – I hope that the move is going better! I saw that you guys are currently packing everything up for the new house. Can you please post some pictures of the new home?

PA_FA – I hope your NST went well. Good job on getting the check on the car seat. I tried to get my DH to go to my local fire station for our check but he wouldn’t go but I am confident that it is correct. I have to agree with you … I would be begging my OB to get her out too! Heck, I was begging at 36-37 weeks for Gabriella to come out. You just get sooooo anxious by that time and yes we have waited all of our lives to finally meet our babies, so go for it! Hopefully, they will listen. I can’t wait to hear your good news!! Hang in there just a little longer…

Stephanie – your weekend away sounds so very nice. I hope that you both enjoy your time away. Yes, I feel the same way about leaving Gabriella and in fact I will be leaving her for 5 days but really 3 days and nights for work without seeing her and it will be sooooo very hard but we will get through it. I hope the babies are doing well.

AFM – Gabriella has not developed a fever from her shots … thank god but she is sooooo sleepy. She slept all day yesterday after the shots and all night last night. And, you guessed it … all day today. I can’t keep her awake. I put her in the Bumbo chair only to look over at her and she fell asleep again and was leaning to one side in the chair … lol. So, I have just decided just to let her sleep, poor girl. Hopefully, she will start to feel better tomorrow. Well ladies, I have to go because Gabriella is starting to cry.

Natasha- congrats on your little arrival. Nataliah is gorgeous! I'm sorry about your experience. WTH????? Don't they do deliveries every day? Geeeeez!!!! Thank goodness you and baby are ok. Life is so precious.

Franca- congrats to you too!!!! Your family must be so thrilled.

P.s. I'm doing fine. Just sick again with a throat infection. Which really blows. On antibiotics and Tylenol. Which makes me nervous but doc swears it is safe.

Karen- I popped a lot of tylonol during my pregnancy. I had some massive headaches. You'll be fine! Just feel better.

OK Here's the news ladies. Some of you may have seen it on FB already. I am much better at updating that. (Unfortunately...sorry)

So we went to the NST and fluid check this morning. Everything was fine. Baby still has not dropped at all. They got a funny sono pic of her head against her arm that was squished against the uterine wall. She looks like she is pouting. Her bottom lip is out and it looks like she is frowning. Actually I think I have seen DH make that same face...hmmmmm. ;)

After that we went to lunch and then to the OB. The ob checks me and says yeah she's high up there. No movement. Did they do a weight check on her? UM......no because you never ordered one. He said that last time she was checked at 36w she was 3900grams. (8lb9oz) He needed to have documentation that she was at least 4000g and he could schedule a c section for Thu or Fri of THIS WEEK!!!!!!!!! OMG! So now I freak out and call the peri center back and beg them to get me back in today for a weight check because I want to get my C scheduled.

So we get back into the peri...they measure her...oh yeah well over 4000g. She's weighing in at...are you ready???
9lb 13oz...give or take a pound. WHAT???? So she could be closer to 11lbs??? CRAP! There is NO WAY I am pushing that out! When the perinatologist looks at her measurements she said that her head MAY fit out my pelvis but the rest of her would probably get stuck. It was a good thing they were doing a C section. So........

The Ob calls me early evening to tell me that my c section is scheduled for Thursday morning at 8am (east coast time). We have to be at the hospital at 6am. I'm so scared and excited and amazed. In 30 hours I get to meet my daughter. I keep trying not to cry. LOL

I love you ladies. I wish you were all here with me. Just know that in my heart you all are. I want to hug each and every one of you for helping me get through these long months. I would not have been able to make it without you. No one else understands the fear and everything we go through. Oh stupid pregnancy hormones....they get worse after delivery right? I'm just going to be a big ball of tears.

I will try to update tomorrow before bed. XOXO

Taking some of the glory from PA by posting for her! I know she has had problems uploading pics in the past and I helped by posting the 4D pics for her so I am going to post for her again. This is what us on Facebook saw...

Hi everyone -

I know I've been MIA lately, I feel like I can never get caught up anymore - where does the day go? One minute its 8am and the next time you see a clock its 4pm already. Babies sure do have a way of consuming you, but I wouldnt have it any other way. I feel too behind to do personals and I'm sure that you know who will be up any minute now, his naps rarely last more than a half hour or so now. We're doing fine and Ryan is getting so big now, he's got to be around 13lbs by now, if I ever get brave enough to get on that damn scale I'd know for sure - but, umm, I'm not liking that scale lately, so lets just guess 13 lbs, ok? lol. I'm still getting peed on at least once a day, yesterday he got me twice, so  I just gotta learn to be quicker, cause he sure is lol. he's finally figuring out his hands a bit more now, at least he's getting interested in grabbing, usually my hair though, he still doesnt care to grab toys unless they're hanging in his face and then he spends more time batting at them then trying to bring them to himself. I see he's got a mild case of cradle cap - and here I thought we were going to get away without it, but I see it at his hairline ( well fuzzline really, lol) where last week it was just on his crown a little bit, so the book says to put olive oil on it then brush it and wash it out. Umm, so now he smells like a salad  He laughs and giggles so much now! I really have to get some new pics and videos of him while he's little, I dont know why, but for some reason I've barely went for the camera lately - bad mommy! I think of you all and miss you girls - but understand that its gotten real hard to find the time to post for most of us. I hope we do keep in touch though, you all mean alot to me. If anyone wants to catch up on FB, just PM me - and heres the emperor now.. right on schedule - haha - much love - xoxoxo
