Just had my blood drawn so now I am sitting here waiting for the call which will be about 3 hrs from now. Okay either I am pregnant or just highly emotional. While Amy (Lab girl aka as my cousin) was drawing my blood, I just started crying . Let me tell I am not a crier.Anyways, I felt like a complete idiot sitting there getting my blood drawn crying. I think it started it the waiting room when I got back to where Amy was I just lost it. I was in the waiting room thinking how many more times will we be here waiting in these chairs in this lobby for news that we are pregnant. Sorry for the lack of personals today but I will post as soon as I get the call good or bad.
HI wannabemum - i can tell you my experience: i had follies too that the biggest was 16mm. and others were smaller. so they lowered my meds so the others can catch up. on the day of ER, they'll go in and retrieve as many eggs as they can. I got 17 eggs but only 10 were mature enough to use. After that, the next day the doc will call you to tell you how many fertilized. i had 7 that fertilized. they can do a 3 day ET or 5 day ET. i did a 5 day ET. i did some research and 50% of fertilized eggs don't make it to day 5. that's why they do more Day 3 transfers. All of mine made it to day five. but infortunately, they were not the highest quality. i transfered 3 blastocysts that were low quality. the other's were so poor i couldn't even freeze them. so now i'm in 2ww. i hope that helps...good luck!
Hi all. Just got home from getting the blood drawn. I should be expecting a call around noonish-1 PM PST. Aah, more torture! DH and I wanted to watch a matinee of Gnomeo and Juliet while we waited, but unfortunately, movies don't start until about 11 or so. So back at home we are. DH took the day off from work today since we wanted to find out together. Hopefully it's good news!

Looks like we are in this wait about the same time Me and my DH have to work 3rd shift tonight but neither of us can go to sleep until we get the call. I think I got all my crying out today at the dr. office. I am praying we both get wonderful news.
Quick post to wish Amanda and Ashley good luck. I hope you both get good news today. I'll be checking back frequently on you!
AFM -- My father-in-law was rushed to the hospital this morning with a massive GI bleed. He passed out at home. He isn't doing well and needs surgery but is too unstable. Please keep him in your prayers. He'll be our childs only grandfather. My husband is at work and he's soooo worried.

Samantha . . . The ER itself is pretty easy . . . you're knocked out . . . afterwards, your RE will tell you how many eggs they were able to get . . . then the lab fertilizes them and you'll get a report the next day or so about how many fertilized . . . then depending on their condition, you'll do either a 3 day or 5 day transfer . . . we did 3 days both times . . . that was my experience anyway . . .
Anton: Thanks for your input. IVF is a difficult path, no matter which turns we take . . . DH and I are okay with the idea of reducing . . . if we weren't, then we would only transfer two . . . there are some people out there that think IVF itself is immoral and a "sin" . . . I try my best not to judge people and their decisions for IVF, less they start judging me! =) . . . and if faced with not being pregnant at all or pregnant with reduction, we'd rather face the difficult choice if reduction =) But to each their own =) Thanks again for your input =)
Good luck, Amanda!! Keeping our fingers crossed for the both of us!! I am too nervous to think straight.. I need some distraction. Maybe we'll order a movie off of Amazon. We have yet to see "The Social Network", so maybe that?
Btw, did you all hear? Mubarak stepped down!
Thanks everyone for your well wishes!! Really, really appreciate it!! Still too afraid to POAS, lol.
Lou - Oh my. I'm so sorry to hear about your FIL. He's in my thoughts and prayers. May he have a speedy recovery.

You can update the list with our beta date, 2/16
We will not be doing any poas test before the blood work. Just seems like that can work us up or make us more anxious. Hell, we'll probably fold due to curiosity and do a poas next wednesday or something
BIG FAT NEGATIVE!!! I can't stop crying. I don't know what we will do next or when. We have used all our funds. I feel like there is a big hole in my heart. I hope hope has better news.
