Lou - Thank you, thank you!! I can't wait to join the pregnancy thread either. Hopefully after my second beta this Sunday! I sure hope it doubles! :)

Samantha - thank you so much for praying for me! It paid off! It's your turn next!! :D

Kimber - Thank you!! Your beta is scheduled for 12dp5dt? wow, that's a long wait! Good luck, hun! Are you getting any symptoms? I was sure my AF was about to start the day before my beta.. it was somewhat scary!

SD - Thank you!!! congrats on being PUPO!! Hope that little bean snuggles in reaaaaal good!! You are only about 9 days behind me! Due date the day before halloween? :P I can't wait to have a Fall baby! My fav. season!

hotgreentea - thank you very much!! When do you find out your results?

Rio - I LOVE the blinkie, thank you!! It's just difficult being happy for someone when you're down in the dumps, you know? So I really felt bad to publicize the news at that time, but I know a lot of the girls were waiting for me to post. I'm still in shock though! Hoping for that doubling beta on Sunday!

LYD10 - thank you tons! 5 is a good number, please don't be disheartened. Sending you lots of positive vibes for a successful cycle for you!

jkulab - Thanks, chica! The credit is all due to the girls on this board for helping me keep my PMA. Don't know what I would've done without you all! Only 4 more days till your beta.. hoping and praying for that BFP!! I didn't get any major symptoms till 2 days before my beta after I "spoke" with God and my embies to please give me some signs. I went to take a nap shortly after the talk and as soon as I woke up, I felt some major cramping. It could've been a good thing or a bad thing (thinking AF is coming), which had me scared ****less, but I tried to stay optimistic.

nwquiz - thank you for being a part of my happiness! Triplets would be a shock, but hey, I'll take what I can get. I'm just hoping for a doubling beta for at least one happy, snuggly sesame seed in there. :)

Katie - thanks! There really isn't anything like it. When my RE called me and told me she had some good news for me, I nearly started crying but tried to keep my composure. Oh, I can play that call in my head over and over again. Sounds like a great plan for you! Hope that lining thickens real good for your next cycle! Really rooting for you!

Lauren - thank you!! I'm glad to hear the positive news is an inspiration for others to continue trying. I'm looking forward to following your next cycle and rooting you on!

Margi - what a darn sweet thing to say! You are just full of life and I love your energy! I put my RE on speaker phone when she called so we could both hear the news at the same time. After all, it's half his ingredients! :P As I spoke to the RE, he caressed my arm and snuggled up next to me. It was so cute. After we got off the phone, he was like, "I was thinking that you were pregnant from all the symptoms you were telling me about, and I was getting pretty excited myself, but I tried to not show it so just in case, it turned out to be negative, you wouldn't be completely heart broken". Silly husband. He kept saying that I'm a huge hypochondriac so it could all be in my head, and he almost had me convinced. lol. So since it was our 4 month anniversary, and we celebrate every single milestone of ours, it was double the celebration for us tonight. We went out for dinner at a Burmese restaurant (such yummy food) and then walked over to the local movie theaters to watch Gnomeo & Juliet. Perfect ending to the perfect day! :) Only 12 more days until Cali! :D

Amanda - thank you soo much!! What is that a video off? DH is passed out next to me, so can't play it.. but perhaps later in the day. Great big hugs to you!

AFM - Got my FIRST-EVER positive today when I finally had the guts to POAS. Never thought I'd ever see that in my life! Ha, here's the one and only stick from 15dpo. Image :P

Amanda-I am so sorry hun :( like everyone here in ths board I know its hard, we all been there and most of us a few times more than others :( Everytime i get a negative it feels like a loving person on mine just died. its like having a funeral and i feel desperate and frastrated and angry why did is this happening to me. So I hear you my friend! I know that these are just words for you but when you stop crying and being sad and angry, try and have faith that this journey ends only when you bring your baby home. and trust be this is going to happen! you deserve it! you know you do! and never say you are broken! you are just heartbroken from the news. your DH loves you and youi love him and this is what matters! all my love and sympathy to you (((hugs)))...you idea of mixing eggs sounds great! try it! dont give up! we are here for you!

Amanda - So sorry to read your news! Pamper yourself & focus on your hubs love. Also, I watched the You Tube video. Thank you for the good cry this morning. :)

HopeISAllIHave - Congrats to you!!! As others have posted you, Lou & all the other BFPs are what give us all hope that if we don't give up we too will get a BFP. So very happy for you!!! Enjoy this!

SDTrying - Congrats on being PUPO!! :)

LYD10 - It only takes one, so don't feel discouraged. Hope all goes well with the transfer & enjoy being PUPO! :)

CJinNC - For me I guess slower is better as least as far as they can tell. I hope they are correct, as I really don't know how many times I may be able to do this. We are now trying to decide we will do a March cycle or April. Not sure I am ready to jump back in, but then again my eggs are getting older & older. Did you do the IUI? or just try naturally? Hope you get a BFP either way. :)

Kat - Thanks for the info on the Lupron. Both you & Lou are making me think I need to do some research before I agree to the process. I don't know though our doc has many rewards for his work in infertility, I should probably trust him. I can understand they that would have no idea that my body would react so quickly the first time around. I am excited for you that you are getting ready for your next cycle. I'll be watching for that BFP! :)

Lou - So sorry for your father-in-law. I hope he is doing better. You will all be in my prayers.

Anton - The end of Feb will be here before you know it! Are you getting excited?

Leora - Hope you are feeling well. I'll be thinking of you tomorrow & Mon. Praying all goes well. :)

Tammy - You are very quiet. I hope everything is going well & you are enjoying being PUPO!

AFM - Just trying to decide March cycle or April? Probably better to go with March since the weather will still be typical cold & rainy Chicago. Have to say I am enjoying the sunshine today! :) :) :) Decisions, decisions, decisions....

Have a great weekend everyone!!!!! :):):):):)

hi ladies :)

Nwquiz-Welcome to my world! I know exactly how tough is paying out of your pocket. Is as if having our infertility issues isn't enough we have to deal and with Financial issues as well. :( Think of the end result of this journey and you will soon forget any money issues!...when having your baby at the end you will know its worth every cent spended! :)

Kimber-I wish you Monday brings you a BFP!!!! Lots of baby dust to you!!!!

Hope- Congratulations!!!! I am so happy for you!!!! :D :D :D you are not even close to being insensitive!! we are all dying to hear BFP!! it gives us hope to move on with our journey. Bravo girl! so proud of you!! :D :D

SDtrying-Congratulations on being a PUPO! Baby dust to you. when is your beta?

LYD10-5 is not a bad number at all!!! everything will be just fine! All the best tommorrow! :)

JKulab-No news is good news :) when is your beta?

Katieb-I hope everything goes according to your plan! :D I hear you on that December Baby!! I am praying for one too!!! :D

Lou-I am so sorry about your FIL :( I hope everything goes well!

Deftonesmo-I feel like I have offended you and I am sorry of you feel that way! This was definatelly my intention. I was just expressing my opinio. i though it would be ok expressing my self especially on this board. we are all facing similar obstacles in our journey of infertility and at the end of the day no matter what I say or believe or anyone of us believes, we will personally make our own decissions and there is no right or wrong decission in this journey, especially when there is no scientific proof on which number of embies transferred works. its up to everyone one of us to make the best decission possible for our situation. And again I am sorry if I sounded like judging your decission. I am not a person who should judge. I have my own cross to carry on this fertility journey. Good luck with stimming and lots of baby dust to you!!

Penny-Oh! Iam excited all right!!! :D Can't wait being a PUPO and then Prego!! the 2ww and being a PUPO is the closest I ever got to pregnancy so I am dreaming of breaking that record and get that "you are pregnant!" phone call!! :D :D

AFM- nothing new to report on my behalf...went on the mountains today with my DH to see some snow :) we had a long walk and had some kebab on our way back home. we had a long talk about this cycle and how much we want this to work.!! we both excited to start stimming and get this ivf show on the road! :D

Baby dust to all!!!

Sorry, I haven't been more active on this board, and know there are many updates...I think this is the cyper forum that never sleeps! Yet this doesn't mean I'm not thinking about you each and every day!

Amanda, this has to be the toughest journey ever! Take all the time to grieve, and I personally know this is something we never get over, but trust me, each day will get easier. My prayers are with you and DH that God will provide some direction as of what step should be taken next.

Amanda - I'm so sorry. BFNs are the absolute worst. We go through all of this and end up with a 'no'. It's so heartbreaking. Take some time to grieve. Big big hugs. I love Kellie Coffey and I watch that video whenever I'm feeling sad. It's a good cry fest. She has another song called "Walk On" which was used for breast cancer awareness, but I think also applies after a BFN or miscarriage ---- look it up. It talks about how all we can do is just walk on and keep going.

anton - just a few more weeks until you start!

Samantha - I don't know my ER/ET dates yet - but I'm guessing soon. My follies were about 15mm on Thursday, so at an ideal growth rate of 1-2mm/day.... we'll see! I have a SnS tomorrow morning, so hopefully I'll know more then. Congrats on a ER date! Wednesday is awesome! We'll be doing this the same week.

Jeib - just 4 more days! I love these tickers - so fun to count down to the end of the 2ww.

Ashley - congrats! 133 at 14dpo is great!

Lou - I'm so sorry to hear about your FIL.

deftonesmo - I hate when people judge us for our choices in IVF. None of this is easy! Deciding how many to transfer (odds of getting pregnant vs risk of multiples) is the hardest part. People really need to understand that IVF is not a choice any of us make. We are stuck here and making the best decisions we can.

Carol - what's happening with you? You ovulated and DTD? What's next on the menu?

nat&alex - just 5 more days! not knowing is the absolute worst!

nwquiz - it sucks that they raised your prices AND wouldn't give you any med samples. Sorry hon! I hate surprise bad news like that. Can you find somewhere cheaper to do the SnS?

Kimber - almost beta time! Any feelings on which way it'll be?

SD - congrats on being PUPO! I've heard that the 'live birth' rates are the same for transferring 1 and transferring 2 (because singleton pregnancies are much more likely to end with healthy babies). That being known, I still think I'll transfer 2.... these are the hardest choices...

Sherry - when is your beta? How are you feeling?

LYD - I'm sorry your fert report wasn't as good as you'd hoped it would be. 5 is still a good number.

katie - again, I'm sorry your FET got delayed, but just for reference, I had a D&C on Sept 14 and didn't have a FET until Dec 5 - it took that long for my body to go back to normal and then build up the lining again. Having a schedule is great - good luck!

Margi - I don't know yet - but my ovaries are killing me so I hope I trigger tomorrow! I never know how many eggs I will get. My clinic only measures the biggest ones. In the past I had 18 and 14 eggs - so I'm hoping around the same number this time. I love your ticker - 1 week and 5 days until CALIFORNIA!

Darlene - do you have any frozen embryos, or will you be starting again? I hope you can decide which month will be better for you. Fingers crossed that one more is all it takes!

AFM - nothing really new to report. Ovaries are KILLING me! I feel like I have two baseballs in there. I'm getting nervous like I always do before a SnS... hoping tomorrow goes well. I really really really really want to trigger tomorrow, but more realistically Mon or Tues.... I'll have these eggs out by the end of the week! Yay!

Lou – I agree. I just don’t know why this isn’t working. I try and keep things in perspective. I know that the chances are only 10-15% per time, but it doesn’t make it easier. I am going to get an HSG. I am able to schedule it on Monday, so let’s hope they have openings! I’m so glad that you are feeling good!

Kat – I’m so sorry about your dog! How horrible!

Lauren – I’m glad that you have a new protocol and that you’re able to get it covered! I can imagine that will help a ton!!!

LYD- congrats on a successful ER! It only takes one! Okay, try and keep up the PMA!

Katieb- I am so very sorry for the cancellation. My acupuncturist has me on an herb of “4 substances” and drinking red raspberry tea. Also, Red Raspberry drops. If you go to a co-op, they could help you find these things. These are shown to help thicken a lining. I did these for one day and it helped my lining. I’ve continued the rest of the cycle and I have AF now and it’s heavier than normal, so I think these have been helping. Maybe something you would consider?

Margi – I am so excited that your labs are there and that you are getting started!!

Deftonesmo – congrats on getting started! How exciting!

Kynlee – you are stronger than I could be! I hope you have a wonderful shower. Sounds like there will be lot so delicious goodies there.

Leora – you egg making machine you! I can’t wait to hear how ER goes! Only a few more days!

Amanda – I am so very sorry. This sucks so bad. Ugh. Please know that DH doesn’t want to have babies with anyone but you and would never trade you for anything. I try and tell my DH that often, he too, feels the burden you feel for not being able to have children. I would never trade DH for anything. This is our challenge together. Not his or Mine. It’s ours. I know this is hard. Take all the time you need and we’ll be here to support you in any decision you make.

Kimber – can’t wait to hear about your beta soon!

HopeIsAll – congratulations on your beta! Trust me, if we didn’t have good results around here, none of us could keep going! I’m thrilled to be able to celebrate with you. Hoping for wonderful doubling news tomorrow!

SDTrying – congrats on being pupo!!! How exciting!

AFM: This has been a tough week for me. I talked to a friend of mine who is 6 months pregnant, having a girl, and she said, so I think we have a name! I said, how exciting! She said, do you want to know…I said, if you’re sharing, I would love to know. She’s thinking about the name Stella. Okay, so DH and I have had that name picked out for 3 years. So, to add insult to injury not only are 2 of my best girlfriends pregnant, but now one of them has taken my name. Seriously!

So I got AF today, which is great and so I have my base U/S on Monday. I am going to have an HSG done, I think on Day 7, so I am looking forward to having that done and hope that it will clean out the cobwebs! Here’s to starting the journey again! I hope this is the one for me! IUI should be around 2/22. Trying to get the PMA back up.

Lots of love to all of you! Sorry for anyone I may have missed!

Leorira- girl let those follies grow. it does get uncomfortable as they grow but we all know its for a good cause.
there is nowhere close by where i can get the sns cheaper. My regular obg can do them but scheduling is another nightmare all together. so am stuck wth the ivf clinic.
Margi- hurray CA already smelling to you. i see we will be in 2ww together  send on those good vibes and that BFP.
sdtrying- girl you have become the queen of poas addict. soon the gurus will be behind you. i was looking them up on ebay and was almost tempted to buy but did not. i know they are already calling my name.
Caro- where are you? so did you do iui or just the dance? fingers crossed for that bfp.
Rio- thanks cheerleader.
tiger- i would still use that name stella if that is what you wanted and let her deal with it,
nothing much to report today. i start meds this evening thats about it.
does anyone use luveris on this board? i have some i wont be using. this cycle its cetrotide/ganielix, gonal and ovidril.

Lauren-- I think switching your protocol might be just the thing you need. Your BFP is coming!

Sunshine12 -- Gawd... It is sooo tough to wait for the u/s. I hadn't POAS for 4 days so this morning I needed affirmation and did it. I was relieved to see two dark lines, but it still doesn't completely put my mind at ease. I attached my pic from today, 22 dpo. You are PUPO! Congrats!!!

Tammy -- Where ya hiding out? How are you feeling? Update us!

CJ -- If you can swing the IVF, then I do think that would increase your chances. My RE told me when I only had 3 big follies that converting to IUI with that would be 8% success but if we ended up with a decent embie to transfer, then it would be 25%. That's a big difference! And it clearly worked out for me. I don't know for sure that I would have gotten a BFN if I had done IUI, but I'm really glad I did the IVF!

jkulab -- I've lived all over the Chicagoland area during my life. Currently, I live in the northwest suburbs. I work in Elk Grove Village, near Schaumburg/Woodfield area.

Ashley -- Congrats again! Love your ticker!

LYD -- How did ET go? 5 fert is good! It really does only take one, even in someone over 35. I'm proof of that. You've got 5 times those chances. That sounds just awesome to me.

Katieb-- I'm so sorry your FET got cancelled. But I'm happy you have a new calendar and a new plan. This is going to work! A December baby sounds perfect!

margi -- So glad your labs made it ok. It won't be long now! It's great that you're doing acupuncture. I did it as well and I think it really helped. I'm continuing on through the first trimester.

deftonesmo-- Congrats on getting your cycle calendar. You are brave for transferring 4! I know you said you're open to reduction but it looks like you've done two cycles and had success on your first, and also you're young (< 35). When I asked about reducing a multiple pregnancy, I was told that there was a 25% chance of losing the entire pregnancy. Not sure if you were told that or not, but it's something to consider. Good luck.

kynlee-- How awesome that you are Godmother to your neices baby! And chocolate covered banana's... YUM! Hope it was a great shower.

Anton -- Heck yes I will find out the sex as soon as I can! I am a Type A planner and will want to have baby things and decorations to match the appropriate gender. Besides, I don't like the color yellow...lol.

kimber -- I have a good feeling about your beta on Monday. How are you holding up?

Rio -- You're the BEST cheerleader ever!

SD -- I love your PMA! You are totally going to get a BFP with all that positive energy. You really are the Queen of POAS addicts!!!! AND early betas to boot!!! LOL

Darlene -- Are you in Chicago also? I'm in the northwest burbs! I think a March cycle sounds fantastic! Then you'll have a December baby and a tax deduction!

Sunshine1576-- Great to hear form you! I had a laparoscopy in December. I really think it helped me get my BFP. Can't wait to cheer you on!

Leora -- Your ER is going to be soon... I can't wait! You are going to get wonderful eggs, beautiful embies, and a big fat POSITIVE!

Tiger-- So glad you posted. I've been thinking about you. I know you've only done 4 IUI's (I've heard it can take 6-8 to work) but have you thought of doing an IVF with donor sperm? I know how much more expensive that would be and that could be why but what would cost more... 3-4 IUI's more or 1 IVF. I need you with me on the pregnancy board so I am going to be praying and cheering your next IUI all the way. 2/22 will be a good day! It's my u/s, SD's beta, and now your IUI! I'm so sorry your friend stole your name on top of it. Did she know you had picked it already? Screw her... use it if you want to. She doesn't own the name!!! My grandmother's friend actually named her daughter after my mother about 6 years later. So it's not that weird to have friends with kids of the same name.

AFM -- My father in law is doing better. Thank you for all your prayers. He received several units of blood and after many tests, turned out he has severe diverticulitis and was bleeding. He should come home in a few days. We are grateful. All I can do is sit and worry about this pregnancy. Waiting for my u/s is sheer torture. Much worse than the 2ww. I POAS this morning, and was somewhat relieved to see 2 dark lines. But still worried nonetheless. Pic is attached. I'm 22 dpo today. Have a great weekend everyone!

hi guys - back from ET. We transferred 2 on day 2 and the other 3 are getting frozen. as a pleasant surprise it appears we have additional 3 embies that fertilized later. she is freezing them in a separate batch 'cause she is still suspect of their quality. now i am horizontal for 2 days while my DH is holding down the fort with the 10 month old. i wish my ET wasnt on a weekend so he could drop him off at his daycare - but looks like my boys will get some bonding time!
