Hope – Love your picture, I know when I got my first ever BFP on a HPT it was the most amazing feeling in the world – then I elected myself the mayor of crazy town & POAS pretty everyday sometimes 3 times a day! Now I think SD is the mayor of crazy town!

Penny – Glad to see you back & that your PMA is back. I am cycling in March for an FET, cycle with me!!! Need a POAS buddy! Basically it is the difference between a December or January baby, I live in the mountains in Utah so it is pretty much moot point, snows likes crazy from end of November to end of March so winter baby is a winter baby!

Anton – I like my plan too but as we all know unfortunately……. best laid plans, but I am praying for a wonderful outcome this time, I think we might be very close to the same schedule my estimated ET is 3/18

Leoria – Thanks for the words of wisdom, I know it takes time for our bodies to recover but at the same time I want to be pregnant again now! I hope your ovaries hurting & feeling huge is a good sign and that you make lots & lots of perfect eggs and you have your “take home” baby!

Tiger – My acupuncturist has me on a similar protocol but she even thought it was too soon from my MC so she likes this better….I should have my AF on the 19th so we will see. I had a similar situation with a friend of my who got pregnant on the pill “accidently” …UGH anyways our name was Sophia (Sophie) and what did she name her little girl ah yeah that’s right Sophie.. and she knew it was my name she did ask me & I told her I didn’t mind but I kinda do and wished she just chosen a different name and respected me on some level…I still might use the name. I love Stella too! So Cute! And definitely have the HSG that was one of the first tests they ran on me.

Lou – Love your picture! I am still so happy and it gives me so much hope that it can happen for me & all of us too!

Lyd – Yay on the good news sounds like a good report to have 3 embies to freeze 

AFM – Beautiful day in the mountains today what we like to refer to as a blue bird day… I worked by DH skied and said it was amazing! I am taking the crinone and estradiol & the crinone (which I don’t think I noticed before) is giving me some cramping and making me sleepy? Anyone else experience that? Last time I took a progesterone that I had made by an herbalist and the RE said it was OK but this time around since we MC last time he wants me on the crinone so this is the first time I have taken it.

nwquiz... thanks for asking... DH and I just did the deed... for the last few days and now we are exhausted! LOL Probably taking the 2ww break! I really doubt anything will come of it, since I only had 3 at 11mm just 3 days before - I can't believe one or any of them matured in that short of time.

Lou... you're probably right about having a better chance with IVF as opposed to IUI. If I could foresee being able to do IVF in the next few months, I would.. but financially I don't think its an option unless I get a REALLY big bonus in March / April which I am not counting on. I turn 45 in July and despite my good FSH and AMH, most clinics don't want to touch me. Soo...we shall see. I am counting on Margi to have awesome success this coming cycle since she did her research on over 40 centers with good success and maybe I will be planning a trip to CA this spring!

hey rio!! thanks for posting it..i found it somewhere during my last cycle, and tried to search a lot the other day and couldn't find it again!!

i was a wreck today...i felt some very very mild cramping earlier today, and i don't even know if my head was making it up in desperate hope..and by evening it was gone and I lost my PMA and i took it all out on my poor dh... aahh..this 2ww...but this time im trying to hold off from all the peeing on sticks at least till 2 days before beta...

margi - good to hear that you got a deal for your hotel in cali and that your lupron thing got settled smoothly..now enjoy sticking in those needles..

nwquiz -yey for starting stimming!!

As requested by Margi.....a day in the mountains.....I think I have lived here so long now (SoCal Transplant) that I don't notice it but a few days a winter when the temps drop in to the teens or single digits, we are lucky with mild winters but lots of snow....

We ended up freezing 4 embies.

Just to rehash, we transferred two fresh ones... 1 grade 4ab and 1 grade 3aa blast on day 5. Keeping fingers crossed for blood test on Friday...

SD - 6dpo! Almost at POAS time! When do you start to see your 'real' BFPs?

Tiger- IUI with donor sperm is probably our next step. I'm so sick of the IVF and I'm wondering if IUI would be easier. I know you've been through both - is the IUI easier? The biggest part I hate about the IVF is the embryos growing in the lab, which we wouldn't have with IUI. We are seriously considering it - but my IVF clinic doesn't do it. I'd have to arrange everything with a new clinic, which is overwhelming at this point. Also - someone I know 'took' my boy name (Micah - named after DH's grandfather).... oh well - I guess there will be 2 kids named Micah! Stella is an adorably name. Maybe you'll have a boy first, and then a girl, so your Stella will be a few years younger than hers and no one will think you stole her name!

sunshine 12 - when is your beta? How are you feeling?

nwquiz - I'm sorry you can't get your SnS done any cheaper. That sucks. Congrats on starting meds though!

Lou - all pregnancy is just waiting and waiting and waiting! I hope you see that wonderful heartbeat next week. That is a really really good HPT - but it should be since you are pregnant!

LYD - congrats on being PUPO! when is your beta?

Katie - I know how much we all want to be pregnant again after a loss. Getting pregnant again can releive some of the grief... I got pregnant this summer after losing twins at 22 weeks last December... I was so so happy to be pregnant again, but then I miscarried. I'm so nervous about another loss.... it sucks.

Carol - I added you to the 2ww... even though I know you aren't optimistic that this is your month. What's next? Another IUI next month? Hopefully your doctor will listen to you this time!

Margi - I'm starting to really freak out. I feel like I'm just waiting for my heart to be broken again.... either with BFN or another loss. I simply cannot believe on any level that this could actually work and I'll have a baby. It's really hard to keep going when I'm losing so much faith. I keep saying that we will be parents someday, somehow.... but now that we keeping failing IVF and adopting is off the table for now.... I wonder how this will happen. I just feel like I can't do this anymore.

AFM - SnS this morning. Not quite ready to trigger yet. The lead follicle in each ovary is 22 - but the rest are 19-15 - so probably another SnS tomorrow or Tuesday. Because my clinic is closed on Fri and Sat, I have to trigger by Tuesday night or wait for next week (ie, ER on Thursday). I hope that happens! I'll know more this afternoon. I'm just so tired of all of this. I want to be done sooooo badly.

Tiger- Stella is a beautiful name and is yours! your friend doesn't own the name dear. if she know this was your fav name then she shouldn't pick this one. try and get this out of your system and focus on your journey (HSG, IUI) we will always have pregnant women around us, haunting us and it hurts more when these women are your best friends. i know, Iam in a situation where 6 of my friends are pregnant within a year. its hard. I know. but inside me I am really happy for them for becoming mommys. what I am going through, and what we all going through I wish for no one to have to leave it. i wish all the women to be able to conceive the easy way and have healthy babies.

Nwquiz- i hope your eggs mature enough!! I am sure you and your DH are going to make your little miracle soon!

Deftonesmo- Glad we clear that out! ...our ivf journey is hard enough and being judged for our decisions is the last thing we want to hear..

Lou- Cool!! I think I would also want to know the gender well in advance to buy stuff and organise the room ...between us...I already know what to buy for the room etc...all I am missing now is a baby ! I hope it arrives sometime in December ..Glad everything is going well with you and your FIL! and I love your 2 bright lines!! I am so happy for you..

Katieb- Yes! it looks like our dates are very close! Looking forward to that. keep that PMA spirit high! your DD is adorable and so so cute!!!! Hi all

Well I'm back and we're back on it so please add me to the list again!

Had our WTF appointment with the doctor last night. Not really sure what to make of it. He didn't instil us with confidence and didn't provide us with answers as such. But we have decided to go again so am trying to be as positive as possible. Transpires we had morulas transferred at day 5, not blastocsyts as we had understood. Also transpired that eggs good, sperm good, morulas good but grew a little slower than he would have liked. Changes for this time: (1) he is going to start me off on 300mg GonalF for stimulation in the hope of producing more eggs (and hopefully therefore embryos) to choose from- last time there were 8 eggs; (2) he is proposing cytoplasmic transfer between the embryos (i.e. not involving a donor) to produce better quality embryos; and (3) he is going to transfer blastocysts.

So please keep your fingers crossed for me again.

Qita - Welcome back! Sometimes the doctors have no answers as to why things didn't work. On my last FET, we transferred 2 perfect blasts --- BFN. No one knows why. I'm glad to hear you feel ready to try again though...


AFM ---- YAY! I was too early in guessing that I wouldn't trigger today! I AM! I'm counting down now until 8pm so I can trigger and be done with injections (hopefully for a loooooong time!). My ER is Tuesday 2.16 at 8am.
