Just wanted to wish Christina and Bron all the luck for when you test. I've noticed you are posting in the June Buddies now. Is there anyone else left from May that hasn't tested yet?

not yet tested

Post by Bronagh »

Hi,
May are still my buddies......................the way I see it Christina and me are the last 2 to test trying to book nice things for me to do next week so my mind stays off it , so far its a luxury pedicure, hair cut, eye test, eyebrow tint and I might just throw in the dentist while I'm at it. Going to try and stay away form the boards for a few days as it depressed me the other day and I'm trying to stay positive.

Off for the weekend.

Glad to hear you have many nice things planned. I must admit I was a bit upset this week with all the negatives. It is so unpredictable and I feel deeply for those who didn't get what they wanted this go round. But you have to be positive for your last week Bro. Surely we are due for some good news. Make sure you don't do to much and relax between all your pampering.

I'll keep an eye out for your posts when you return.
All the luck to you and christina still to test.
Best wishes

Hi all

Hope that you are all keeping well & relaxing. Well tomorrow is it for me now. Still trying to keep positive & AF hasn't arrived yet so thats making me a bit hopeful. I think you guys were right that the hospital said to wait for a reason, so hopefully it will be a BFP tomorrow.

Keep the lucky candles burning & everything crossed.

Best wishes to Bro who is also testing soon.

Good Luck to everyone else on treatment :)

Could not resist coming back seeing how everyone was this morning. Christina thats a bummer.............................totally. Ive got 3 days to go and had a bit of spotting this morning now \I know that everyone says that means nothing and to just wait and do the test so thats what I'm going to do.

Bye for now.

Bro, I've jumped month boards but am so sorry to hear you think it's over. DH is right though, wait until Thursday. You know there are so many stories re. bleeding, cramping etc and still people get ++++

Sorry you'll have a rough couple of days until you know for sure. I'll be thinking of you and looking out for your posts.

hugs
Debra.

I'm sorry Bronagh. Thats so unfair especially considering your ride has been extra long. Don't give up hope yet there have been others who have bled and went on to have a positive. DH is right saying to test on Thursday. Keeping my fingers crossed for you and hoping for your miracle.

Best wishes

Bro,

Don't give up just yet. Wait until Thursday, even though I know it will torment you. Like the others say you hear so many stories. So take care & I will pray for good news for you. :)

Bronagh,

I think I understand how you must be feeling as I had the same thing happen last month. My AF showed up 2 days before I was due to test and the clinic actually let me go in early for the test so that I could just have some closure and not obsess for 2 more days. Perhaps you could call the clinic, tell them what's happened and see if they will let you go in sooner?

I remember you wrote me a really nice message with some good advice that I appreciated a lot. If this didn't work for you, I'm really sorry. I know it took you forever to downreg and you were very patient and positive throughout it all. This whole IVF thing is such a gamble. I see all of the people who do get +tives on here and I am truly happy for them because I know how much they had to go through. It also gives me hope because I can see it does work....sometimes. I just feel terrible for those who fall on the unlucky side of things and don't end up with what they deserve....although many of those people do eventually have success. I guess it just takes more tries for some of us.

Take care of yourself and do see about going into the clinic earlier if you can. As difficult as it was, I felt better just getting it over with.

Well girls,
I will still do the test tomorrow but really really really I'm having a full on AF its all there the back pain the front pain the middle pain every kind of pain imaginable. And the bleeding very strong.
Thank you all for the thoughts I think we will try and forget about it all for a while we are off on holiday in 3 weeks and it will be some time before we get our follow up appointment but not as long as I originally thought 6-12 weeks so worse case mid August.

Feeling very sad but think I'm over the worst had my hair cut and facial today anyway and am going to get back out into the garden. Cant believe some people go threw this 10 times...................I dont think it will be me.

staci-appreciated your comments but at our RE you do the test at home and then just fill in a form with the result, suppose it stops them having to deal with crying women and they can get more appointments in so will just wait and do it tomorrow.

So I think thats the end of our thread no one else to test here. We got 3 postive and 6 negatives which is stasticially about right......unfortunately.
