Kimber...Dont forget to pick up a nice bottle of wine, too. Sending you more hugs.

Samantha...Yayy for triggering! I think most of us go through the same feelings as you are...completely normal. Your E2 level was 2204...about average. My E2's ranged from 915-1725...which is on the lower side due to age and less mature eggs. 3 years ago with Zach it was in the 3000's. I am guessing by that you'll have approx. 9 mature eggs (which is wonderful)...but really it's just a guess...nothing more. Your lining is perfect. How many follies have they been counting?

Ryann...I'm sawwy. lol I will check in more often, I promise. How are you feeling? What's new?

Darlene...Thanks! Pretty much the best V-Day ever!

AFM: I got the best pics and video ever of Bill opening his card...with Zach sitting on his lap. I hope and pray that I get to show our baby someday. Please God let this baby stick. Zach made me a heart music box at the Lowe's Build and Grow Clinic with Daddy. Sooo cute! He was sooo proud of himself. I love it! :D

Crap! I had a bit of brown spotting this evening. Seems to be slowing. Should I worry? Anyone who's had a baby have this in the past? I was nauseous a lot today and my hpt this evening is darker again. I'm so freaked out. How the hell am I going to be able to wait a week for an u/s?

Tammy,
Congratulations! What a wonderful news you brought to this board!
I don’t plan to test before beta because my AF normally comes 2 days before beta if it is a BFN. I cannot really handle disappointments well so I will work step by step, following the schedule for check up. I think that I will only to get really happy when the baby is born. IVF is a hard path for me. I wish I haven’t waited for so long to start it.
SD
I like your list showing the daily development of embryos after the transfer. I can keep track what my embryos do in my belly. It helps ease my anxiety during 2ww.
Leora,
My beta is 2.21. Good luck for your ER.

TAMMY!!!! YAYAYAYAYAY!!!! I have been stalking to see your results (and knowing you would POAS and you did not disappoint) :D SOOO Thrilled for you, Bill and Zach! I loved the story of Zach pulling out the big brother shirt the day of your transfer. Will be stalking you the rest of this very long pregnancy. Congrats!!

Lou - YES, the test color variation is normal, and YES I had spotting at this point in my pregnancy. I actually had a lot of bleeding if you recall. My first bit of spotting was 4 weeks which I think was leftover implant bleeding. That lasted 2-3 days. The second time was 6w5d and it was dark pink and totally freaked me out. I ended up having my u/s that day, three days early, which showed 2 healthy hb. One baby was a little behind so the RE said I might lose her, but she definitely caught up. Then I had MAJOR gushing blood at 10w which turned out to be my SCH (blood clot). Again I was told I could lose one or both babies, but the gushing stopped that day, and I spotted for 6 1/2 weeks. The clot reabsorbed by 17 weeks (it was pretty large too).

Any kind of bleeding is so hard during pregnancy. Spotting, especially this early, is really normal. Praying for you that it's nothing and you're little bean is just settling in nice and tight.

i had bleeding with my pregnancy in 1st trimester. it was subchorionic hematoma - which is a bleed in the uterus. they put me on bedrest for a week and it passed - everything was ok afterwards. call the clinic - maybe they'll want you in for early U/S to check on where the bleed spot is relative to the sack, etc.

bleeding is very common with IVF - many people bleed and go on to have successful pregnancies.

Leora - can't wait!

Kimber - sounds like a good plan, wine, chocolate and greasy food! You will get your baby very soon!

Lou - sorry about the scare but infortunately it is very common and most go on to wonderful babies but it is impossible not to worry. You can call your RE but I have to warn you that early US can do more harm than good. My early US showed a sac but no fetal pole or yolk and I freaked out for over a week but all was fine! I am sure you will be fine too.

Tammy - Love the visual of Bill and Zach! Congrats again!

Samantha - good luck with ER!

AFM - thank you! Allis well and OB checked my cervix and said better safe than sorry, strong HB and closed up tight cervix so I am breathing better. He thinks streches even though they felt quite different. Great news!!!

I just noticed we have a chat function on this board, maybe one day we can ll meet and chit chat live ;)

Tammy YAY! Mark up one for the over 40 ladies!!!! I love it! Margi.. you are next!

Lou... I'm ITA with the other ladies... stop testing and don't worry... we are all praying too much for those little ones in there (yes I said that in the plural - I'm going for a split egg...identical gorgeous twin girls to drive your DH crazy in 15 years! LOL) Spotting is very normal in pregnancy.. try to relax. I'm sure that is easier said than done, but you have done everything you can so far to make this a healthy pregnancy, so try to be confident. Take care!

Ashley... still holding out PMA for you.

Sorry if i missed anyone... DH is complaining I am on the computer instead of hanging out with him for valentines..not like I'm gonna get lucky or anything, but we can cuddle...

Leora... good luck on ER tomorrow (tonight)~

Hello ladies,

Happy Valentine's Day Everyone!!!! Remember me? I'm a proud stalker. Once you get to know a great group of ladies you want to keep up with them. I just wanted to say:

Lou: enjoy your pregancy. I know it's hard to except the don't worry advice because none of us want even more bad news in the crazy journey, but right now all u know is you are pregnant so please relax and enjoy you r going to stress youself out and you don't need extra stress. Take it easy and step away from the sticks please. If there is one thing I wish I could say is I'm pregnant and I would say it any chance I could. At least you have that. Congrats

Tammy: omg girl!! Like I have said to u before u are a strong and focused. Congrats I'm so happy for u! It will work and I'm with rio it's a girl!!!

Lou...Yes! With Zach I had a lot of brown and red spotting during my 5th week. I took some time off work to lay on the couch (wasnt necessary, but I was scared) and it did stop and everything was fine. It is very very common...especially among IVF'ers. Remember the doc was up there extracting eggs, the embryo was burrowing into your lining, and these things among many others cause blood to pool and eventually come out. This can happen at anytime...but for you and I...it was our 5th week. Hang in there kiddo! You and your baby WILL be okay. Lots of love and hugs!

Victoria...Hi! How are you? What is new? Good to see you. Thanks for the compliment. Yeah, I'm feeling girl, too. lol

Carol...Go 40's...Go 40's! You are both going to get your BFP's, too!!!

Rio...Awesome news. I knew "he" was doing okay in his mama. lol Boo on no extra u/s to find out the gender. When do you get another look?
That chat function looks really cool.

Lou...I agree with LYD...call your doc...and maybe they will do an early u/s to relieve your mind. Nausea is a great sign! Those tests arent going to show lighter or darker according to hcg levels at this point for you...you are wayyy beyond that point. They only show lighter and darker before 100-200 (and even then it isnt always accurate)...and your beta is wayyyy higher than that. So really you are just wasting sticks now. lol I know it is hard...trust me, I know...but the best thing you can do for you little one is to relax and take it all in stride. Hugs!

Babyluv! Hi! How are the babies? Did I already tell you this...they were born on Bill's birthday! You know me too well. lol Did you know that today I would poas, at 11dpo, too? lol That is just too funny! I know...I still cant believe that Zach did that! Maybe it was my mom working in mysterious ways from heaven. :D

Kerri...Hoping and praying that AF never shows her ugly face! Sending lots of prayers to you! You will have to let us know on the 19th...when AF doesn't show up.

Karin...Thanks!!! How are you feeling, mama?

Lou.....I'm sure everything is fine. My RE told me not to worry and to just lay down if spotting happens. If you're on baby aspirin, that could contribute. I know that waiting for your u/s is torture. Get some rest.....it's the best thing you can do for yourself and baby.

Hang in there! :D

Thanks everyone. I am definitely calling I'm the AM even though the spotting is now down to beige CM. I'm still nauseous, even now. Still scared though.

Lou: I had brown spotting early on in my first trimester too . . . When I had my first u/s at 6 weeks, there were two sacs, but only one heartbeat . . . RE theorized that maybe the brown spotting was a vanishing twin . . . I went on to deliver a healthy baby girl . . .worry if the spotting is red with cramping . . . otherwise, spotting can happen . . . but a call into the AM never hurts . . . also, as far as selective reduction, the research I've come across and supported by my RE puts the risk at 5-8% for triplets reduced to twins, 8-10% for quads to twins, and 10-12% for quints to twins . . . so weird that you were given a higher number! Maybe it's different woman to woman . . . :?

Hope: hope your beta is better tomorrow :)

Tammy: Congrats ;)

Leora: Good luck!

AFM: started stims last night . . . follistim, omnitrope (growth hormone), and menopur . . . man, :) does that menopur sting!

And take it easy, but I am sure as the other ladies have said, that all will be well. Hang in there my friend.

Hope/Ashley: I am really hoping and praying that you get some peace tomorrow. Preferable a wonderful rise in beta. The uncertainty is painful.

Kimber: So sorry!!! Ugh. There aren’t the right words. Just please know that we are all here with you and to feel free to vent or whatever. Many of us have been where you are now. Take your time, pamper yourself, eat anything and everything..lol--then move ahead when you are ready. ((((((HUGS)))))))

Samantha: Triggering tonight! How wonderful. Hang in there. I know it is uncomfortable at this stage, but it isn’t long now before your eggs get fertilized and then back to momma. Take care of yourself.

Kerri: Best of luck during the 2ww! The 21st is just a week away. Take care of yourself--and we are all here for ya!

Rio: WHEW! Glad that all is well...I still say take it easy my friend! ;-)

Leora: ER tomorrow--so exciting!!

Carol: Yes indeed! The 40+s are gonna succeed! We are all gonna rock this board with our BFPs! Enjoy Vday with DH.

AFM: No more BCPs!!! Now I call the clinic when AF appears and then get to stimming!!! Boy am I ready! AF dancing feet can get started....I am hoping for tomorrow or Wednesday so I can stim on Wed or Thursday. That will give me 7/8 days of stimming and SnS before I head to Cali!!

Happy Valentines Day to all of you special, strong and wonderful women. I am so proud to know all of you.
