Leora - dont drink water! that's the worst for OHSS as your body will just retain it. Drink whatever sports/electrolite drink you have in israel. gatorade is 110mg of sodium and 30mg of potassium per 8 fl oz. find whatever the equivalent in Israel and drink that. but dont drink water.

jkulab- Am so sorry. i was hoping and praying for another BFp but you know how things go in here. Please take time to heal and cook up a plan then come back to join us. Wish i had better words to say. ive been thru it 6times so i know the pain and frastration. please dont give up.

jkulab - I am so sooooo sorry. I hope you can try again but please take the time to heal.

Leora - don't drink water, they have to have something similar like a sports drink. Eat salty foods and drink things like V8. Weigh yourself a couple of times a day and see what your gain is. A littl bloated and gain is ok but OHSS is very serious. That was a funny comment, our son loves books and we read with him for an hour at night and in daycare he does a lot too. He adores books.

Just wanted to pop on really quick & say congrats to the latest BFP's I am having a hard time keeping up you all post so much! I love it!!!! Anyways, Em has been super sick and we have been up to ears in not so nice stuff, tough having a sick 2 year old. I don't think I have been this tired since she was born. UGH! I hope we all sleep tonight and I can function a little bit more tomorrow - ah yes there are trials & tribulations to being a parent but we adapt & love & grow with each instance and even with my house smelling like puke & a crying upset little one I still wouldn't give it up and am praying to add a little one to our family off to nap for me...

Jkulab - I am so, so, so, sorry about your BFN....my heart breaks & wishes I could make it not so.....having been there myself many times there really are no words but know we are all here for you and wish much comfort & healing in this difficult time.......

thank you, lou, katie, riogirl, tiger, nwquiz, tammy - for your kind words. i just knew when i saw the pics of the embies and especially when the embryologist couldn't freeze any of the rest b/c they were poor quality that they wouldn't survive. one good thing is that i don't have to do any more PIO for now. thanks ladies. i have an appt with my doc on friday to see what my next steps are. i'll keep you posted. until then, best of luck and baby dust!!!...always!!!

jkulab - make a list of things you want to ask, it is always easy to forget things when you are there. Sometimes perfect embryos don't implant and no one knows why. I never had any embryos to freeze and when I finally had one, it didn't make it to freeze. That does not mean your others were not good. Are you doing IVF because of male fertility only?

rio - i had polyps that wouldn't go away. i had 4 surgeries to get rid of them. plus, my bf is low everything...makes it difficult to do it any other way.

Jkulab - yeah it would be hard to determine if maybe you would not need IVF if it was just polyps. I have my husband on COQ10 and men's vitamins and his count went up quite a bit after about 3 months on it. Maybe it would be worth trying that? Who knows maybe a natural miracle for you? Seems like his counts are quite low for you to go to IVF and not IUI. Please don't beat yourself up because this is science and a lot of "luck" involved too.

rio - thanks for the advise. i will ask my doc if my bf could try that. you're right that its luck. as far as the science part, that's where it baffles me. i'm a microbiologist and i've done so much research on this. i know it's not 100% guarantee but the chances are suppose to be higher. i guess, what i'm trying to say is science is my belief in life. there is a reason for everything.
