the above link is to a blog i wrote about trusting you are pregnant, it's brief and i don't think you'd have to sign up or anything to read it, if you're interested... this is on another forum that i'm active on.. i love that they have an area where you can blog... but as for the threads, i'm much fonder of this forum..

Lou- My mistake, I was referring to the test line backwards.
I hope this posting also helps... Lastnight before bed I noticed pinkish red discharge when I wiped after going to the bathroom. (at this time I was straining r/t constipation) I totally freaked out, with crying and all. Scared my hubby to death with my breakdown as he tried to be as reassuring as he could be. Didnt sleep all night, just waiting for when I could call the Dr office this am. They immed returned my call and were very reassuring to me. The RN said this is normal. That you become very vascular in the area as the body tries to work on the placenta and you can get ruptured capillaries with this deeper implantation. I also told her how I havent felt "as pregnant" and she said that they get calls like this all the time b/c with what we are going through we all take note of every little symptom and are so aware of everything. She said that even this early if I was actively m/c that it would be like a heavy period. She was very positive and told me to take a deep breath, calm down and not to worry and they would see me for my u/s on Monday.
Lou - I have started to hate to brush my teeth, its the worst ever. Are you experiencing active dreams, my dreams are so bad now, they are waking me up in the middle of the night. My Re also told me the early light bleeding could be inplantation even at this late stages and its quite common.
Dalla - It could very well be implantation bleeding. The best thing you can do is relax. LOL, listen to me, relax i was a wreck a couple of days ago.
Krcaja - Great about baby A and i am sure that baby b will catch up!
Karen - My symptoms are up and down, they changes every day, some days are worst than the other, so I am sure you are fine. When I saw my RE yesterday, she told me to relax and enjoy being pregnant, after waiting for so long why be all doom and gloom.
AFM - Well, remember when I said that my beta was 595, it seems that i miss heard. My RE looked at me like I was mad yesterday and advised that if it was 595 she would not have suggested a scan, it was 5095. my scan revealed that I have implanted both blasts, one is a bit further along where you can clearly see the yolk sac and the other you can only see the yolk sac faintly. She thinks the second one implanted later, which could be true as one of my blasts was behind the other in development. I am very nervous about a twin pregency and how my poor body will cope. My heartbeat scan is in two weeks, but I feel a lot more relaxed and happy. oh, and no more dr google for me, my husband had enough and says its not helping me.

Osi --- Wow... a beta of 5095 is off the charts!!! Twins makes perfect sense! Congrats!!!! Yes... I'm having very vivid dreams. Last night's was a freakin scary nightmare though...lol.
Karen -- I think my symptoms come and go too. It's strange. Hopefully normal. Your stomach sticking out is a sure sign you're pregnant though!!! Growth is a good thing.
Dallas -- Thanks for the reassuring post on the spotting. It came back a little yesterday and stopped again. I'm going to rest this weekend and see what my u/s shows on Tuesday.
krcaja -- How are you doing? When do you get another u/s to check on Twin B?
AFM -- A tiny bit of spotting yesterday again.... but it once again stopped. I'm doing my best not to worry. I do plan to rest for the weekend. I had a scary nightmare last night. It was kinda like the movie Zombieland where we were being chased by creatures who wanted to eat us. Hope everyone has a happy Friday and a great weekend!

Dallas I just wanted to share with you that at 7 weeks I had the same thing happen... I was straining really hard due to constipation (sorry TMI) and a few drops of blood came out. I freaked out, had a nervous breakdown and ran to the doc immediately. They did a u/s and everything was fine. I was told that I had the same thing...something about increased blood flow to the area and stuff. Well I am now on stool softeners and still if I strain really hard -which I never do anymore I will have a few drops of spotting that will go away within an hour. Please try to relax it is very common and its no big deal.

Todays u/s left alot to be desired. The u/s showed a good sac, but unable to see a heartbeat at this time. Today I am 6wks 1day. The dr wants me to come repeat the u/s on Friday. She thinks that they're may be a heartbeat then. There is a chance that my little embryo is just a little behind because he was only a 3 day transfer. My fingers are crossed and continuing to pray every minute. At this time she said there is a 50/50 chance that it can go either way at this time.
i'm so sorry it wasn't better news, this is the hard part about 6 wk u/s's.. they sometimes leave things up in the air... i will keep my fingers crossed for friday.. try to keep a positive outlook, cause you do have 50% on your side.. hugs to you

I'm an absolute wreck today. My u/s is tomorrow when I will be 6w4d. I haven't had many symptoms and don't feel pregnant so I'm very worried that I'm NOT pregnant. Does that sound stupid? I hope so. Although, after lunch today, I did develop indigestion/heartburn. I don't know if it was the crappy food they fed me at work or a real symptom...lol. I'm really worried. I haven't been peeing during the night and my boobs aren't tender at all anymore. I also have plenty of energy. Tomorrow morning will be the moment of truth for me. Gosh, I hope my intuition is wrong.
Dallas -- My clinic won't do an u/s until you are 6 1/2 to 7 weeks (i.e. 6w4d to 7 weeks) because any earlier there likely won't be a heartbeat detected. I think you were just a few days early. If I remember correctly, your beta started out on the low side too (but doubled normally) indicating a late implantation. Now I had an early implantation felt at 5-6dpo with a beta of 290 at 14dpo, so if I don't see a heartbeat tomorrow, it's probably over for me. Gosh I'm soooo scared!!!!!

Lou: I had a calm before the storm about 6-8 weeks... I even thought "Eh, pregnancy isn't so rough" and then shortly after, everything kicked in (all hell broke loose). Also, some women just have gentle pregnancies with no bad symptoms (maybe this is a sign that you'll be among the lucky!). I know it's tough, but please don't worry too much because there's nothing abnormal about feeling okay.

Thanks Lou, the comments you made are identical to my thoughts I have had today. Your comments are very reassuring. I just hope Friday isnt too early and that I shouldnt have put it off until Monday. But I think that by Monday I would have been a nervous wreck.
Thanks Happy Bunny. I will feel much better about things after I see a beautiful heartbeat on my u/s tomorrow.
Dallas -- I'm glad you are feeling a little bit better. I really think you'll have good news on Friday. I think Friday is the right day to check. Monday would be too hard to wait and I think you're only 2-3 days behind which would make up the difference!

Lou- Just wanted to drop in real quick and say I can't wait to see how fast your baby(ies) heart beat is. Don't worry about spotting. I am doing it off and on too and my RE said its so common in IVF they are more concerned when women dont spot. I also have very few symptoms. The only consistent one I have is the frequent peeing. My boobs are sore but no worse than when on my period, I was having annoying heartburn and indigestion, but now its naseau which is no worse than I used to get when I ovulated. My mom didnt have m/s with me until her 3 and 4 month so mine is probably coming.
Dallas- no worries...your bean will be making its star apprearance on Friday.
Osi- I aam thinking twims too!! Your numbers are looking alot like mine!!!
Karen- How are you doing? You are in the second trimester now right?
AFM....trying to be patient to my next u/s on March 3. I am hoping for a wonderful birthday/ anniversary/ belated valentines day present to see at the very 1 good strong heart beat and bean and if god sees fit twin B going strong as well.
