ER has been cancelled tomorrow due to too much
Abdominal pain after ET. I'm so low right
Now I got to go up to the hospital tomorrow

Anton - just one week until your blood test! I hope it shows what it needs to show!

SD - thanks for the sticky vibes! Unfortunately, with my history, a BFP is not 'the light at the end of the tunnel', but at least it would be a step in the right direction. I'm so terrified of another 2nd tri loss.... but I'm so desperate to GET there so I can see how it goes! How was your next beta?

Jeib - so few understand what we go through. A friend (who has been trying for a few months the 'old fashioned way') caught me on the phone immediately after I got a BFN news from my nurse. She said "oh, that's how I feel every month when I get my period". Ummm. NOT! Most people just really dont get it.

Tammy - I'm so sorry that you are in beta hell too. Do what you need to do with the estrogen though. Do you need a Rx to get more, so you can take it even while your doctor drags his feet? I have a ton of extra estrace leftover from previous cycles (they always prescribe enough for 10 weeks of pregnancy even if I get a BFN).... but I don't think I could get it to you fast enough.... --- I'm not sure what the HPTs mean. I know you are excited, but it could just be nothing. When do you get your next blood test?

Tiger - I'm glad your HSG went well. Hopefully it flushed something out! Surprising that the doctor had so much trouble with the catheter. I was told that it's the same kind of catheter they use for IUI/ET (preparing me for how it would feel). Weird.

Rio - that is an awesome dancing penguin! ---- I'm so sorry about your neighbors dog. How sad. I'm going to go give my puppy a hug now and tell him how much I love him....

Lou - pregnancy in general is just one worry after another. Feel good honey. The spotting is probably nothing. u/s on Tuesday!

Kimber - I'm so so sorry. BFNs really really really suck. No matter how many women here have gotten them before, each and every BFN in this group kills me. We all deserve to have our BFPs.... sadly that doesn't happen. Some people start again right away (I think sunshine 12 did), but I usually have to wait a cycle in between.

JustSo Lost (Shell) - I'm sorry that not all your eggs made it into embryos. Hopefully one of those 4 is your baby. When do you transfer?

Carol - did you get your bloodwork results back? Did you ovulate those 3 eggs? any ideas about the next cycle?

nwquiz - good luck on your SnS. Any idea when your IUI will be? Just curious, do you use your DH's sperm or donor sperm?

Sherry - oh honey. I'm so sorry.... as for what to expect - a few days after stopping the progesterone, you should get your period. Because your lining was so built up, it'll be really really heavy. I'm sorry hon.

LYD - I totally understand you on the low PMA. I'm really starting to stress, and I'm not even PUPO yet!

Ashley - that's fantastic! AMAZING! It seems that first beta was just wrong or you may have lost a twin or something. Sucks that you had to worry so much about it. You can usually see something on the u/s when the beta reaches 1000 or so.

deftonesmo - you are almost there! keep growing those follies!

Katie - yay! Hopefully your lining check on Wednesday will be great!

Margi - woohoo! Our least favorite auntie, but sometimes she needs to stop by. I'm glad your travel plans won't have to be changed. 6 days until you leave for California!

HopethisworksM - I feel no different in BFN cycles and BFP cycles... fingers crossed for a great beta. Keep us posted!

Samantha - I'm also in more pain than usual after this ER. Keep your doctor updated and feel good.

AFM - only two more sleeps until ET! Oy. I'm going crazy worrying about the embryos. I know that they won't check them again until Sunday morning. I really really really hope 2 of them make it!

I saw a new accupuncturist today (I didn't really like my old one). She is apparently an IVF specialist. She only put in about 5 needles (one in my left arm, and the rest in my right foot), but I could really REALLY feel them! She said I responded really well and that my pulses balanced better. Hopefully this works! I'm still not sure how much I believe in TCM.... but for $50 and an hour of my time, it's worth a try!

I'll just try to stay sane until Sunday.....

Oh Samantha. I am so so sorry. Maybe things will be okay tomorrow and you can proceed after all? Do they suspect OHSS? Are you drinking tons of gatorade? Praying for you and for good news, too.

Loera...I did get the estrace, patches, and pio (Bill had to road trip it to the nearest specialty pharmacy) and I am now taking 2mg estrace pills 3x's a day "vaginally" and also doing 4 patches, instead of 2, now. I got the extra patches on yesterday morning right away and started the estrace in the afternoon. That is why I am so happy about the test suddenly getting darker this morning...since starting the estrogen. Thank you for the offer, though. My next blood test is tomorrow morning, Sat 2.19.11. That line just gave me a huge boost of hope. Can you see the line?

deftonesmo -- Your ER is just around the corner! Can't wait!

Sherry -- You should expect a period (probably a doosey of a period) within a week. Mine always came 4 days after stopping PIO. How are you feeling?

Kimber -- My clinic insists after a BFN fresh cycle that you wait one full cycle before starting again to give those inflamed ovaries a rest. Not every clinic does this, but it sounds like a good idea to me.

jkulab -- Are you hanging in there hun?

Katieb -- Thanks. I think my m/c really messed up my ability to enjoy the first trimester. Woo hoo for your tax refund!

Margi -- Yay for AF! What day do you leave for calif? Hoping your baseline shows many antral follicles to grow!

Rio --- I'm so sorry about your neighbors dog. That is just so sad. Made me want to cry. I love my dog so much and I would be inconsolable if something happened to her.

SD -- Another beta today? Can't wait.

Tammy -- YEAH!!!! How incredible!!!! I'm soooooo happy for you. I've got everything crossed that your beta will continue to double normally. When is your next beta?

Ryan -- Oh you poor sweet thing! I had no idea you suffered so badly with morning sickness.... er... hyperemesis for your whole first trimester. I do hope you are better now.

Samantha -- So sorry about the pain you are in. I had awful pain after my first ER, but it went away in 2 days and I was able to have my ET on day 3. Are you freezing embies then? How many?

AFM -- Spotting stopped again. I'm still going for acupuncture weekly for miscarriage prevention. I hope it's working. I went last night and nearly fell asleep! What is everyone doing this weekend? I'm planning a lot of NOTHING! Except of course, stalking you guys.

OMG GIRLS!!! LOOKIE!!! The test strip is darker this morning...I can even catch it on camera and see it without holding it up to the light now! The comparison test from yesterday...is a positive too...but can only be seen when held to the light and squinting. Maybe there was 2...and maybe we caught the estrogen issue in time for the second one. Estrogen is like oxygen! MY BABY IS GROWING NOW!!!

Update--I just left my doctors office with an update on my babies. All 4 of my babies are still growing along. I'm scheduled for the transfer on late tomorrow morning. I will definitely keep everyone up to date. Thanks sooo much for helping me with my CMA (crappy mental attitude). I'm feeling much better and have tons of PMA now.

Leora... I did get my progesterone level back and it was only 8.3 so I am pretty sure I ovulated maybe one, but with that number so low, it probably wasn't mature or was defective. In the past my progesterone level was between 5-12 even on clomid, but one lucky month it was 21. The month I got my bfp my level was over 30. So I am not holding out any hope that it was a "good" egg. I am moving onto next cycle and planning a full injectible cycle with IUI - just pray I get a bunch of follies. If that fails I'm taking a well-needed break until I can afford IVF. I may try donor eggs since my geriatric eggies aren't cutting it

So any fert report back? How are the embies doing?

Yes, this is my first. And to top it off, I've been doing it in secret. Only my husband & one of my sisters know what I'm doing. And my husband works out of town so you guys have truly been a great support system.
