Kerri- There is still hope. I only had 4 eggs retrieved, only 2 of which turned out to be fully mature. Of the 2 only one fertilized. It turned into an 8 cell for a 3 day transfer. So far so good I got my first positive beta on 2/4. Good Luck!
Had ultrasound today. No baby found. Empty sac. Devestated. Three good betas. Now nothing. In shock. Never even considered this possibility.

Kerri, Are you sure it is AF? As you probably know, some spotting can happen while preggo. So I guess I would do the beta. You probably know your body and know AF when you see it, but the MD will probably want proof before the next FET. So sorry it didn't work out, if that is indeed the case. We will FET our remaining embryo. If that doesn't work, it is back to finding a new donor etc. At that point we will want a new batch anyway and hope for better luck. I have to do another Ultrasound as definitive proof of non pregnancy on Tue, like seeing the empty sac last week wasn't definitive enough. Anyway, I guess I will lean then how to get ready for the next FET and when it will happen. I guess I'll stop hormones and start Lupron? Then AF, then hormones again, then transfer? Wonder how long that will all take? Take care of yourself. Sorry about AF.

Hi Egg - Just wanted to give you some info since I am about to embark on my first FET, I know each protocol is the same but from what I have seen usually they don't use Lupron with a FET, they do BCP (or some combo of that) then estrogen (usually orally) to grow lining then add progesterone once final lining check then transfer. It is pretty easy compared to a fresh cycle but from what I have heard it is sometimes easier on the body because it is far less stressful than a fresh cycle. We shall see if that holds true, I was set to do mine in February but after my MC (bled for 2 1/2 weeks) my lining was shot as was my PMA so we got postponed til March. First appt on 23rd for first lining check. You might be able to jump into a March FET as long as you get AF before then at some point. I don't know for sure but the protocol is pretty easy compared to a fresh - we are done with IVF we have 6 frost babies all of great quality so we are hoping one of them is our baby if not we are done. Feel free to PM me with any questions - good luck to you & baby dust oxoxoxo

Egg,
I had the beta test and it is a BFN. It was my 3rd IVF and my period came always two days before the beta test. That is why I know it was AF. I have a new appointment with the same doctor on 16 March. I don't have to take any medication in the mean while. I wonder what she wants to do with me.
Good to know that you still have some hopes there. How do you feel?
Katie,
Thank you for the info about FET. I had one less good (5 cells after 2days) embryo frozen in my last IVF and I want to plant it back. It will be my first FET if I can proceed and I want to unless the doctor gives my strong arguments. I hope to join you in the FET club in March.

Mixed emotions today. My u/s showed a good sac, but no heartbeat. The dr seems to think that it could be a late developer since I was only a 3 day transfer and wants me to repeat the u/s on Friday. As of right now she told e not to give up hope, there is a 50/50 chance of a heartbeat showing up on Friday. But Im not sure how to think right now.
