Blair - Im doing intralipids because they say I have Natural killer cells. When the embryo is transferred my body will try and attack it, the intralipids is supposed to calm the NK cells. Its really controversial, some dr.'s believe in it, others don't. It is $60 to do the infusion so i figured i might as well do it. Can't hurt anything. As far as how many to put back, we will put back 2. Im fine with twins so that isn't a problem. I just want to have the best shot at at least 1 sticking. We are also doing CGH testing on the eggs to hopefully help pick out that one golden egg so I won't have to do FET's. If we only have a few eggs then we wont do the CGH testing.

Indigo - POAS!! Im a POAS pusher. The trigger shot should be out of your system 10 days after you take it. Yes there is a chance of a false negative. For me I always want to know the outcome before I get the bad news in a phone call.

to_have_fun- thats very interesting. I agree with you though, it obviously wont hurt you so you might as well go for it. $60 is a drop in the bucket with all these IVF costs. If youre spending this much money anyway you might as well increase your chances and go all out. Thats what I decided to do with the Viagra suppositories the RE prescribed while I am on stims. Even though its $350 for 10 days I might as well do anything I can. Good luck!!

Well, a very disappointing ultrasound this am. My lead follicle has grown to 20mm, and everything else appears to be smaller than yesterday. I still have one 16mm and two 15s, so the RE said we will definitely trigger tonight. However, whether we go ahead with ER or convert to IUI depends on my E2 level. If it's up from yesterday, we go ahead with the ER/IVF. If it's down we convert to IUI. I'll know for sure when the labs get back this afternoon. I'm not really sure at this point which way I'm hoping it goes. If we get 4 mature eggs and they all fertilize, that would be great. But I'm afraid I'm going to be right back where I was in November and end up with nothing. At this point I'm just too tired to think about it anymore. Working overnight really sucks sometimes! I'll keep you all posted when I know the plan.

cwehrs - Dear just pray to God, we are all with you praying. I remember I was in your shoes my fresh cycle back in August. I know at some points my dose of shots was increased and they started growing. We nearly canceled but it came around. I feel awful myself after my POAS but trying to stay positive will help us. I remember my RE said I should take long walks and my dose was doubled (obviously more money) but I saw results within 5days of the increment and the follicles were growing. ER I had 19 follicles but 11 fertilized. Goodluck

I just POAS an a bit over an hour ago but I am just hoping its BFN because too early for poas. I am all sad and feel my heart beating so fast. This is my last try (IVF) and I'm just not prepared at all emotionally for a negative result. I should have waited because I am back to square one, nervous as hell and still 7 more days before official Test. It is too early to POAS? isn't it? After all I had transfer is day3FET and today is day8. Please say something. anyone had a negative day8 and them positive later?

I was really getting hopefully yesterday and earlier today.

zdia- I know exactly how you feel. Your heart beats so fast while you wait for the lines to appear and then when you get nothing you feel crushed. You definitely need to remember that just because you got a negative doesnt mean you arent pregnant. If you didnt use first morning urine the concentration may not be high enough to even detect. And there are tons of people who have naturally lower levels of hcg and dont get a positive until after the beta. Dont let it get you down. Stay positive- you are PUPO!!!

Zdia- I'm wondering if it's been 8 days since your trans or is this just day 8 including your transfer? And plz remember as I mentioned earlier, some folks get a BFN all the way to beta. I'll be praying for you AND Fun. Plz tell me days.

Blair - A million hugs. You have said so much sense. Yes I am PUPO and I am no doing any more POAS until Friday if I can help it and will do it early morning. Its just that waiting is soooo hard. I am glad we are all together supporting each other during this tough period.

Crissylove - I did my transfer same day as you 2/15 so we are on day 8 today (post FET for me). However for me unlike you, it was a day3 transfer. Meaning the embies are 11days old. Thanks for the support. I have the feeling am preggo. I have not had cramps mostly. Just very mild cramps day 6-8 however from last night my breast have enlarged and are soo sore and tender. They were not this sore my first cycle and I want to believe this the time. After all I am trying to be positive and hope for the best since it is my last try for IVF(well I guess unless government decides to assist).

I wish I could have a British or European National because my british friend had government pay for her first 2 IVF babies. I am proud to be American but we need to really start considering our situations. It is very frustrating going through the process when one is not financially comfortable.And after 9 yrs and some even more of TTC its just gets crazy that we have no consideration. I mean 2-3yrs is more than long enough.

Anyway, just had to get that out

Thank you everyone for all of your support, today I feel much better, I have a plan of attack regarding my uni that I feel very confident about and I am feeling much more positive thanks to you all of you. I have finally worked out how to create my ticker so I hope it is here.
I am no longer going to stress. I actually found an image of a 6 day old embryo implanting in the uterus, that was amazing to think of how these lives transform so im in a better place today.
Zdia, keep your chin up and remember some of these babies the hormones can take a little longer.
SD - the rollercoaster sounds very emotional, just try to roll with it?

AFM, if my uni refuses to change my placement I am very willing to change my uni, as I have gotten top marks all throughout the three years and my daughter is 4 so I have only one more year before she starts school so i'm no longer stressing anymore.

Hi Z.
Sorry it took me so long. Just some silver lining, PMA food for thought. When we both did our ET's on 2/15 I was working with 5 day blasties, so they had two days gain time. Today is only 7 days post transfer, so if you think of it in the sense that your embies had to grow anther 2 more days once they got inside of you to reach blasts, and then hatch and implant they're still young. So today they're only 5 days past blast stage and 10 post ovulation. So those cramping and breast symptoms are great sources of encouragement bcuz they're good signs, especially when you declare your pregnancy like you did. Glad to see your mood picking up. We're all here routing you on. I read one girl's post on another site saying how she talked to her embies. I think that's a great idea.

zdia- Thanks for the words of encouragement. I was tired and feeling down this morning, but the PMA is back up tonight!

indigo- On the POAS front, I'm planning to avoid it as long as possible. Once I have my ET I intend to just enjoy being PUPO. If I'm going to get a BFN in the end (but I'm really hoping for that BFP), I'm at least going to get my 2 weeks of "pregnancy", darn it!!!!

AFM- My E2 level was up a little today, so we are going ahead with ER on Thursday. The RE thinks she's going to get 4-5 good eggs, so we'll see if her prediction is true!

zdia- Did you re-test this morning with first morning urine? I know you were down yday so I hope everyones words of encouragement helped. A negative now doesn’t mean anything in the long run since it could change into a positive any day.
