Girls I love the idea of a combined board! the more the merrier.
Sonya Mellow, and Barbara I love the belly shots you girls look awesome and Sonya you look so happy! I will have to take and upload one tonight... I just feel like my waist keeps expanding and expanding...lol with my son it was such a cute little belly and nothing else but now its like my entire midsection is thickening this pregnancy is definitely different. Tomorrow is my next cervix length check and ultrasound so wish me luck I hope and pray that everything is ok still.

So here is a question for you girls have you told everyone about your pregnancy yet? At first I thought we would announce it once we saw a heartbeat and then I thought we would announce it once we were in the 2nd trimester but other than my immediate family I still have not told anyone...what makes it harder is that my very best friend desperately want her boyfriend to propose and get married and have babies and every time I almost tell her she points out that someone else is pregnant or getting married and how much it depresses her and so I just don't have the heart to say anything...but then again I feel like the longer I wait the more upset she will be with me that I didn't tell her...ugh what to do NOw I am thinking maybe we will announce it once we cross 28 weeks? LOL most people will be able to guess by then

Freckles - Great pics!! Your little one looks adorable, as does your bump!

Anna - we blogged about our TTC & losses so everyone knew everything, right as it was happening. I don't think I could have hidden it past 12 weeks anyways with my belly showing as much as it did. (My friend's 6-year old came up to me Christmas day and said "Amanda you look like you have a baby in your tummy.") I know you want to be sensitive about your friend's feelings but this is also your time to celebrate this miracle. Maybe you could talk to your friend to let her know personally and then announce it to everyone else?

Sonya - AWESOME belly pic. You are deffinitely preggers and looking beautiful and glowing! LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE the pic!! I can't say how awesome it is to see this happening to you. Tears of joy, tears of joy old cycle buddy. I am right there with you with talk about plastic surgery. These twins did a number on me. I think I am more shaped like and egg now. LOL Tummy tuck, here I come!

Lou - I can't say how awesomely happy I am for you. Just like Katie, I knew you would see a HB! Big sigh of relief. Things are all coming together now. Now to stretch out that perfect bod of yours. I hear cocoa butter or bio oil works well, but use it 2 times a day and everywhere. I know they say if you are going to stretch you are going to streatch, but I think it's possible to come out of it with minimal damage. lol Of course it is always nice to look at your kid when they are older and show them the battle scars.

Congrats to all you other mommies too! Nothing but healthy happy babies cooking in these bellies!! <3

Anna....DH and I went through this. I announced to my side of the family and my friends immediately, but had to hide it from DH's side. We still havent told his maternal grandparents or aunt and uncle. I'm dying because I can't even say anything on facebook til they know since we are friends! If you can hold off til 28 weeks more power to you!!!!

I'm glad a combined board seems to work for so many of us. I love seeing the new girls come on board and I feel it might be good for everyone for the later pregnancies to be there for the fresh ones!

Good luck on your cervix length check - I am thinking of you and waiting for an update.

My husband... who rarely uses facebook at all, announced our pregnancy right after seeing the second ultrasound at 9 weeks! LOL I could not be upset at him... he was excited and thrilled. I didn't feel bad at all... I had five pregnancies in my close family that I endured and was pregnant twice (unsuccessfully) through them. A couple of the pregnancies I was pregnant and lost the baby twice. Ugh. I even hosted a baby shower for one of my nephews. So we are celebrating this baby in every way possible.... everyone is thrilled for us. I know you are thinking about your friend and it's awesome.. but you are not going to be able to hide this! LOL I'd tell her sooner than later so she doesn't feel left out on top of being unmarried and not pregnant. Let us know how it goes...

Crashing! Hey girlies...I love the idea of a combined group. So many of us have been together all year and it will be terrific when I finally make it over here. I had my cervical length check this morning and everything looks great....Doctor actually said that it looks like I have a "normal" length cervix which is surprising considering the amount of surgery done on it but I won't argue...lol As for the gender....the baby closed its legs and turned away...lol I guess it didn't appreciate us invading its privacy so maybe in 2 weeks.
