Hi ladies!!! It's been so long and everyone is sooo quiet! I just wanted to check in to see how everything is going with everyone. I miss chatting with you guys! We are sooo busy with the twins so I'm sure that's been the case with you.

The twins are both walking fairly well...Jos is a pro now and Chaz is getting the hang of things. They just started a new day care center so we had that transition to deal with and it's getting better. What's bugging me is Chaz's attitude, ugh! He is irritable ALL the time these days. Last week he was really sick. He had a high fever due to an ear infection and a pretty bad cold. So I spoiled and loved on him for days and did whatever I could to make him comfy. However, he's no longer sick and just mean, lol. He hasn't been eating well in the past few weeks but everyone tells me toddlers tend to do that...not have much of an appetite and nibble on things all day. So with the whining and not eating he's driving me crazy!

Anyone else going through this? He doesn't appear to have any more teeth coming in at the moment so I don't think that it's teething. He laughs and plays at times which leads me to believe he feels fine...just fussy!

Hi Cynthia! I have been super busy with the twins too. I have a similar problem with Piper's attitude. She is so mean to Ren. She will walk across the room to push Ren down. She has learned to climb on the couch and then run from one end to the other trying to give me a heart attack! The latest trick she learned and showed Ren is to shake the bird cage. The poor bird is going to have it's own heart attack. They are both eating okay. Chicken fries is always a winner. Ren isn't walking yet but will be soon. He is standing and crusing along the couch and will walk with walker toys. Ren's feet turn out and he has to wear braces for awhile. He was fitted for them so I'm just waiting for them to come in. He had his surgery in December and it went fine. It lasted about 4 1/2 hours. The doctor said it went better than expected and he should only need one more surgery.

Other than the twins getting into everything and throwing a few tantrums, everything is good. I had surgery last week to finally fix a hernia I've had since being pregnant. It felt like I was going through a c-section all over again. I'm feeling much better now but still sore.

Well, I need to get ready to take the twins to get their 15 month shots. Hard to believe they are 15 months old already!

Hello ladies,

How is everybody? Good to hear from aims and Cynthia.

Cynthia - I have seen the fussiness in Faith as well. Some days she eats really well, and some days she doesn't want to eat anything. I have learnt to accept that. She is walking very well and talking like crazy. She repeats almost everything we say to her! I think she will turn out to be a blabber mouth like her daddy :-)

I have a question. How much milk your little ones are having per day? Faith was drinking almost 30oz a day, so at her 15 months doctor appointment, I was told to cut down her milk intake below 24 oz.

aims - I am glad Ren's surgery went well. Good luck for the next one.

I really hope to hear from the others too. I miss them all very much!

Tara

Hey Tara! The twins are getting about 24 oz a day. They get a cup with each meal.

Hello everybody,

We have all been quiet for a long long time. I know we are all busy with our little ones, but would love to touch base with you all and see how everybody is doing.

Faith will be 18 months old in a few weeks! She has been doing well. She is talking a lot now. She loves to be read to. I get tired when she brings one book after another!!!

How are your little ones doing? Have you all putting them in any activities like swimming? Would love to hear updates.

Tara.
