LYD are you not going to POAS? Seems you should get a BFP by now and the b/w will just confirm. I hope you get good news tomorrow!

Yeah, and someone keeps leaving the rear exit door open on that bus...and I keep falling off the back of it. lol :?

LYD...You just need to go get a hpt test...at least for us. lol Heck, dont even have to look...take a pic with your eyes closed and post it. lol Seriously though...yes it could be progesterone or it could be pregnancy symptoms...the sense of smell could certainly be pregnancy related, too. I always get a cold when pregnant...something about the baby taking my immunity. Wishing, hoping, and praying for you.

Anton...Ugh, so I found out that most of these tests are not going to be covered by our insurance...so right now I am trying to find out the codes to each and then find out which ones are covered and then we are only going to get the ones that are covered done. I suppose you dont know the cost of some of them do you?

Margi...No bus stop for you! Enjoy your jet express trip to babyland! What protocol are you on to get 18 growing so far?!

Mairi Anne...Love your name. I am part Scottish. Yes! I remember Hazel...small world. Have you checked into being allowed to take a taxi? I know our hospitals would never allow that.

Carol...My doc said that unless we have lots of good embryos on day 3...then waiting till day 5 to do PGD is not worth it...we would likely lose them all. The process is hard on the embryos...and ones that could/would have made it...didnt because of PGD. Hoping and praying that AF does NOT show up for you tomorrow.
HopethisworksM...Hoping and praying for you and your next beta. Hang in there! Praying hard. Keep us posted!

Tiger...How did everything go today?

Krcaja...Praying for you!

AFM: Still havent heard from my doc...still dont know if we should sit out 1 cycle or not. AF is still not here! Someone start dancing please! lol

deftnesmo- yay for triggering tonight

sdtrying#2- Awesome news

hotgreentea- FET were much quicker since you arent on all the same meds... I was just on Estrace and progesterone for my FETS...

Lyd- My dog is fine all day y himself, I do feel bad that he is all alone, but we give him alot of attention when we are home from work he is like my kid in away... He has the house to himself, he has a couple bed pillows around to lounge and tons of toys... My mother in law checks in on him here and there but for the most part he waits till DH gets home and then goes out... My dog is not in a crate but some people crate while they arent home, I was lucky to have a dog that didnt chew things around the house or have accidents....

hopethisworks- I am praying everything will be ok, stay hopeful things could change when you go for your next beta and numbers may jump high :)

Margi- Great follies :)

Leora-I am oping I am on my way to a bfp :) It is hard to see all the babies in my family around me and lately more then ever I leave crying... My Sister in law just gave us the news that she is pregnant and she wasnt even planning it... It is hard to hear of everyone around me getting pregnant and it was a accident or it only took one time and then there is me that has been trying for years... I try to stay hopeful and not get jealous but sometimes its hard... Your thoughts to your therapist are right on, I know how hard this journey is and most people dont understand all the ups and downs that goes along with it... So sorry that you had to go through what you did with the twins.. I am praying everyday that God gives us all a miracle very soon... (huge hugs)

Tammy-Thanks it is awesome to be a godmother....:) As for estrace I think it does delay your period cause every time I am on that and progesterone once i get off it it takes a few days to get A/F...

AFM- Just relaxing till next week go for my first U/S to see when I start Follistim :)

well - i missed my chance to poas this morning. now my urine is not concentrated enough. plus if it is negative i would just be devastated. plus i only have one test and i dont even know what the sensitivity of it is. and if anything i probably had a late implanter so it might not even register

Tammy - you are funny. i wish i could just poas and show you the stick and you would tell me if it is positive. and if it is negative you wouldnt say anything. but then i would know anyway! so you would have to lie. Basically i will only take positive for an answer - nothing else!!! :) oh my god - i am slowly going insane - or maybe not so slowly :) i am thinking of taking a day off tomorrow and maybe going to movies or something to distract myself.

so did your doc say its OK to go ahead with 2 cycles back to back? do you have a doc that you can trust or are you using a consortium of docs? this process is hard enough and on top of it we have to do the thinking for them? i am usually not the type of person to just relinquish control and let others do the thinking. but i happen to really respect my doc and my embryologist - so i go with what they say. but it is typically not my personallity unless i really respect the professionals i am working with and see the track record to prove it.

Lyd - Since you are looking into dog breeds I must encourage you to research the Boxer. I've got one and she is amazing. We choose that breed because our neighbors had 2 and we fell in love with them. The are smart, active, very friendly, awesome with small children, don't like water or extreme heat, love snow, love other dogs/people, and just make superb companions. Our girl weighs 55-59 lbs and furs perfectly at the foot of our bed at night. She's family. I even kiss her on the lips!

Thanks for the kind words guys :) Taking another blood test tomorrow at 9am. That will be a less than a 48 hour difference but I should see the levels increase somewhat. Tomorrow will be 19 days since fertilization and 14 days since transfer :). I'll post back tomorrow night when I have the numbers.

Hi Girls - Just wanted to pop on real quick to say hello, sounds like things are moving along nicely, hope everyone is on their way to getting their BFP's. This board moves fast!

A few personals:

Leoria - Our wonderful list-mistress can you please move my FET to 3/17 moved me up by a day which is OK by me the sooner the better! I love your analogy & when you find out the answer to the question of how to keep your PMA up please share, I had no idea what a crazy roller coaster ride this would be....but as grandma says on the movie "Parenthood" which would you rather have a roller coaster ride or complacency? Me, I'll take the roller coaster any day!

Tammy - I am dancing for you right now! Come on AF! I am on estradiol and progesterone & when I get off of it I get my period within 24 to 48 hours.....so maybe you can consult your RE about it and ask if there is a way to induce it coming sooner? BTW: we had some of the tests when we had our MC & the total for all came out to about $2700 bucks not sure what all the names were but I do know that you can have the test run then maybe you can talk to the hospital and they can give you a break on payment? We have a coordinator at our hospital & when it all just becomes to much we go talk to her & she usually finds a way to give us a break..let me know if you want more info & I will find out exactly what her title is so you can see if you have one at your hospital/lab.

Margi - Are you in Sunny CA right now? Or is it still raining there?

Lyd - I am with everyone else, come on don't you want just tinkle on one little stick for us?? ;-)

HopethisworksM - Don't put too much merit into the numbers just yet...they can be deceiving, I have found by reading these boards that some women start low & slow and have perfectly healthy babies & some are high & fast & they have perfectly healthy babies so just hang tight & relax & enjoy your pregnancy!

You all move so fast that is all I can remember the rest! But I pray for each & everyone one of you every night and hope that helps to bring you each your own BFP...

Went to RE today for first initial monitoring appt...good news we are right were we want to be and RE was very happy so that made us very happy. He moved up our FET to 3/17/2011 so that was nice :-) Y'all have a good night (no I am not southern but the DH is and it rubs off on me!) ;-)

This board does move very fast, by the time I catch up someone here will have exciting news! Well it certainly keeps up my PMA reading about POAS. I looked at some tonight at CVS thinking should I purchase more????
For everyone researching pets out there, I have to chime in and tell you how affectionate Labrador Retrievers are! Sure Vegas likes to pull out my socks and play tug o war with Blackjack, and half of my socks are now holey, but they keep me amused and I love them unconditionally!
We crated Blackjack as a puppy, but Vegas was already 6 months old when we got her, so can see a big difference on how mellowed out he is compared to her. However, I personally think she is more loyal when it comes to staying right beside us when we take them out for a walk. We all know how males like to prowl around and pee on every mailbox in sight!
But after having them for 7 years they have become more like house pets, and are soooo close to us, that I couldn't imagine my days without them! I know they are not small, but we consider them medium size manly dogs. lol

Kynlee, please tell me is this the same sister-in-law that got married last month. I know how tough it is swallowing news like that, but I'm really praying that this cycle will be it. Keep counting down, next Friday is going to be here before you know it!

Everyone I will certainly be reading more after I finish cooking dinner. DH is out playing softball and gosh I think he's wearing boxers not briefs...

Congrats longtimerivf! This will be your cycle lots of sticky baby dust coming your way

Chiming in on the dog situation, I live in the mountains so a bit different breeds we have but we love our huskador (Siberian husky Mom & a Labrador Retriever Dad) she is beautiful slick black coat with piercing blue eyes, she is meticulously clean & sheds very little & extremely loyal since we are the alphas in her world she is super athletic, swimming, skiing, running etc... but also can be mellow we sometimes leave her in the house all day & she is very happy to see us but no accidents...not sure what the rest of the world has on this breed but we got her locally. The second is a flat coat retriever which is similar to the golden but black, extremely loyal & as much as I love him he sheds, is extremely needy & doesn't quite understand why we brought Emilee home we get a lot of but what about me looks! I wouldn't recommend him to someone getting ready to have a baby I feel sorry for him sometimes because he REALLY wants to be loved & sometimes I don't have time and it breaks my heart....he too is able to hold his wee till we get home. I think any dog you get as long as you train them they are able to hold on till you get home. I am with Lou though I love the boxer they are great family dogs for sure.

Also on the technical front I find if you hit preview and preview your post before you hit submit it seems to not loose them as much.......

Leoria, I can so relate to the bus-stop analogy. I'm glad you're seeing someone to express these thoughts. We all need someone to share our emotions to and here we need each other so we don't go completely over the edge. This has been the best support group ever! More than anything, we all need some direction and guidance and that's why I'm praying tonight that we can find that missing piece to the puzzle. I know it feels like a hole in our heart, and this emptiness will not go way. Certainly some days will be easier than others, but as I read the posts here, I hear others say we have that choice to make on deciding to keep up our PMA. "Attitude is everything". I feel there are possibilities still out there for all of us, but the question is how much more are we willing to take on. We are the fighters and the fighters are survivers!
Sometimes we need little breaks, but we never let go of that dream. xoxoxoxo Sunshine1576

LYD10 - My last cycle which was a BFP I thought I was getting my period too felt same type of cramps that I get before my period and then I got a BFP so don't give up hope just yet might just be late implanting or just getting really snuggled in so hold on to your PMA just a bit longer - we are all pulling for you....
