Looks like I am starting lupron tonight and start the big meds on 3-5. They said I can do the lupron in either the fat part of my thighs or stomach, do most of you alternate between those two sites? I really don't like the idea of shots in the stomach :)

addy- I would go with the stomach. Ive done the lupron a couple times and the needle is teeny tiny in comparison to the other needles. Ive never tried my thigh, but the stomach was pretty easy. Good luck. Its exciting that you get to start things up.

SD -- WAW WAWEEE!!!! great news. Seems like twins. Happy for you. Throw more baby Dust.

Andy - I did the alternating both sides too. Hang in there, just imagine a twin at the end of the road.

blair - The encouragement helped alot and infact I am in a much better mood. I called out from work today but its just that I needed a break from the stress. I am not doing any POAS till Friday now. For now I will enjoy the fact I am PUPO like cwehrs said.

cwehrs - Good for you. By the grace of all you will give us great news tomorrow.

Crissy, Kayleen and everyone else - Thanks for the support. i don't know how I would have managed with this team putting sense and supporting me.

Spoke to my RE finally and he said to stay positive, about the sex he said to avoid as much as possible especially orgasm but if I must, I just be very gentle and chose positions that are comfortable( he also said no definite medical proofs as no sex). Anyway we choose not be to again to avoid adding more stress and guilt after wards. After all there will be enough chances in the future to makeup.

SD- Hope you have a great vacation! Keep sending out that baby dust while you are enjoying your virgin cocktails!

Addy- The shots in the abdomen really aren't so bad. I think the anticipation of poking yourself that first time is a hundred times worse than the actual injection. You'll be a pro in no time!

Blair- I'm pretty sure that my clinic only does 5 day transfers. I intend to ask tomorrow though. If I end up with only a couple embryos (which is expected by all involved) I don't know why they would wait to 5 days. Makes sense if you have 10 to wait and put back the best, but if I only have 1 or 2 I would think you'd put them in as soon as possible.

AFM- I'm spending the day cleaning and doing laundry. Fun, huh? It's a beautiful day and we're supposed to get snow tomorrow, so I think a nice long walk with my dogs is in order for this afternoon. Basically anything to distract myself and not stress out about tomorrow. At this point there is nothing that I can do to change the outcome, so I'm just letting it go and hoping for the best.

SD - Congrats on the awesome beta #'s. have a blast on your vacation. When do you leave?

cwehrs - Good luck at ER tomorrow. Hope you get some really good quality eggs. My clinic only tries to do 5dt. they believe if the embryo doesn't make it to 5days in the lab then it won't make it in the womb. I don't know how much I agree with this. On one cycle i tried to stick it out till day 5 and we didn't have anything to transfer. So after that i told them i wanted to do a 3 day regardless. With Donor egg it will be different and i will wait till 5 days. Keep us posted on your ER.

Ok...so I broke down and bought a two pack of sticks to pee on. I'm holding out til Friday too. So Zdia and I can pee on them at the same time...lol. I just want to make sure that if I'm going to find out, I have the rest of the day to celebrate (or mourn) Or I may just wait til the 1st (Tuesday) for my beta...grrrr...can't decide.

I was talking with my 11 yr old daughter yesterday and saying that I was going crazy trying to figure out if I'm pregnant or not, and she said "Well duh, you're pregnant right now. What are you talking about???" Gotta love kids and how straight forward they are.

SD - so happy to hear such a great beta!!

cwehrs - good luck tomorrow - maybe there are some surprise follies hiding and they'll come out tomorrow! Hoping you get amazing results!

re: shots in abdomen - really not that bad. They only go into the fatty tissue, so not that painful at all.

Crissy - when's your beta? Enquiring minds want to know!

Just got back from RE - all is green light go this time, thank god I was so nervous but lining is thin progesterone & estrogen within the limits they want & with a longer estrogen phase this time around RE is confident that we will make it to ET! I was so relieved! Had my two year old & my 6 month old nephew with us & all the ladies in the waiting room were looking at us like WTF why are you here, I wanted to explain so badly because I know how they are feel!

Anyways a few personals:

Indigofire & Zdia - go on you know you wanna just POAS already & let us all get our fix! It's going to be positive!

SD - Your betas just keep going in the right direction! Thats awesome!

Addy - My coordinator to do Lupron in the stomach it was the least painful (I think she is right) what she said was start at one end and sorta make a smiley face right under you belly button so you start on one end & end up on the other - I found the tiny little needles pretty comfortable.

Cwehrs - Good luck tomorrow not only will I pray for a big number but for a big number of mature eggs that will fertilize giving you the most excellent quality 5 day blasts for you to choose from.

Zdia - As far as sex during 2ww, I was told not to, however my RE also told me that your Uterus is like a peanut butter & jelly sandwich so it is really sticky & gooey so wherever he placed the embryos they will stay until they either implant or get expelled at your next natural menstrual cycle. He mentioned that it was the orgasm that he worries about not the act of sex itself because orgasm causes your uterus to contract etc...but he said it would have to be a pretty crazy orgasm to shake the embryos loose (I know pretty in-depth conversation with my RE I think he thought I was a sex addict!) anyways with all that I think you are OK.....so stop worrying & concentrate on your perfect little babies growing inside you :-)

Mamaboo - I hate, hate, hate insurance! We pay over $600 a month for our health insurance with no eye or dental & a $7500 deductible to just have the baby and it doesn't even cover anything having to do with IF as a matter a fact if they get wind I am doing any IF treatments they can drop me! UGH! Just have a system to get it all taken care of & get it done at the same time each day you need to do so it doesn't seem like such a pain in the butt!

Blair - Thanks for being our dutiful list-mistress & always being the queen of PMA not only to me but to everyone else on these boards it is such a tough road at times & it helps to have a little ray of sunshine in our day. (My FET got moved up to 3/17!)

For those I didn't mention you are in my thoughts an prayers everyday & I pray for positive outcomes for everyone :-)

Hi all,

Sorry I've Bren quiet but it's morning here's is aus. Im enjoying my 2ww and loving being pregnant! I have odd little twinges and I know it's my little wombat doing what is needed to ensure he/she sticks around for 9 lovely months. This is my second natural fet and I had 4 positive HPT however I got spottig day of bloods. Yet I know that this one is different and he is a sticker and a fighter. He is implanting nicely and spreading those lovely hcg hormones to get a great reading on my bloods!

Katie it sounds like things are going well with your fet plans. I know youll get your BFP.

I hope everyone is remaining positive and those that are pregnant rare enjoying it and those yet to have et are planning for a wonderful pregnancy.

I have to add this fet feels very different, last one I had very bad cramps from the onset and day 5 and 6 afterwards I was in agony thats why I was shocked with the pos on the hpt that's why this time I am surprised and very positive with my little twinges and no cramps. This is amazing and wonderful

Kyleen81 - I am so happy for you! You know your own body best! So you had a natural FET the first time too and got a BFP then MC? Sorry I am playing catch up.....This will be my first FET I did a fresh cycle the first time got pregnant with really high numbers then MC at about 6 weeks :-( I am doing Estradiol, Progesterone & Low Dose Aspirin, they are following my natural cycle so no suppression (thank god I didn't like Lupron or taking BCP's they made me cranky & bloated). I am going to change my ticker just as soon as I can to say I am pregnant and counting down (I love your PMA, you & SD had pregnancy tickers early on and I think that is great!)

Enjoy your day mine is winding down....5 at night here on Wednesday....;-)

Keep your chin up lyd10. We are all here

One question if I may impose on you all...I am not having cramps but I am feeling tightness in my lower pelvic area...does that sound like a good thing? My wombat must be getting very comfortable in there. I refuse to believe negative simply enjoying the positive pregnancy..

I am just devastated and down this morning. I POAS this morning after 4am and BFN again. i have never in my life seen a positive after over 9 years of trying. After all today is day10 pos FET, I would expect at least a faint positive to keep me going. i am afraid I will go crazy before my Beta next Wednesday. i am finding it soooooo hard to stay positive anymore. And HD thinks I should just wait for beta, POAS will only bring non-necessary depression. what??

Worst thing, absolutely not a single symptoms. no cramps or anything. Even my sore boobs that were making me positive are no longer sore or enlarged.

Anyone one on progynova and cyclogest during the 2ww and getting symtoms? AF may not come because of the progynova I assume?

I want to stay positive but i cant. 4 embies transferred in me, I was hoping atleast 1 sticks and make me happy. I have a huge family six siblings all with kids and I hate it, because I know they are feeling sorry for me. I know they love me, and my mom keeps telling me all the 12 niece and nephew are your kids. Yes I love them and they all call me favorite aunty but I want something closer to me. I am just at the edge where I cant take it any longer. i wish i could just go into a prolonged sleep till beta n only wake for a positive.
