Krcaja and Lou, thank you so much for your prompt responses. Makes me feel much better thinking that either of those scenarios is a possibility. Phew. Okay, I'll try not to freak out as much anymore. Thank you, thank you!
PS: I love talking to my baby peanut. Am I crazy? I guess as long as I don't do it in public, it's alright, right? lol

6/7/11 - We're having a baby GIRL!
No good news at the u/s today. No heartbeat, and no growth of the sac. I am dealing with it better than I thought I would, I know it is b/c I have known in my heart all week that this would be the outcome. I go back to see my RE on Thursday to start planning my next cycle. The RE I saw today said that I should be able to start soon. I really hope so.. ASAP. I am waiting to m/c this weekend, if not by Monday then they will call in a medicine for me to make it happen. The RE today said that I might suggest adding a testosterone patch and growth hormone next time. Has any had/or heard of this??
Oh, dallas, I am so so very sorry! I can't even imagine the feeling. Glad to hear you are taking it so well. I'd hate to say this, but hope you miscarry soon so you could get the next cycle started asap. Big hugs!

Dallas --- Oh no, I am soooo sorry. I honestly didn't expect that outcome. I have heard of testosterone patches and growth hormone. Ghost answered a question about each of those not too long ago. I'm sure if you ask, she'll give you the info as well. I remember she said both were promising. I will definitely be cheering you on your next cycle and you WILL be joining the pregnancy board.

dallas- i'm so so sorry about your loss. it's a horrible thing to have to deal with. i can also hear the hope and determination you have- ready to cycle again. i was like that after our m/c too.... as for the testosterone- do it- it's the same principle as dhea (which is an androgen steroid that converts into testosterone)... it's hypothesized to increase egg quality, quantity, and now implantation.. recent studies support it more than ever. please take care of yourself through all this
i've missed so much it seems hard to catch up with everyone now... i've been glad to read of the good recent u/s's.. and relate to the worries of no symptoms, but if it helps anyone, my symptoms had disappeared again, then i had my u/s on monday, and everything was great... i'm 11 wks tomorrow. i'll have to change my ticker as it's a day behind..
take care all, karen

Well, I guess I can officially join this thread now. We just got home from our ultrasound even though it was scheduled at 10:30, but we've been out gallivanting and celebrating because we have a bun in the oven!! We were lucky enough to even see a beautiful heartbeat flicker! RE said it was too early to measure, but she thinks it was around 90bpm, which she says is right on target at this time. As soon as she mentioned she saw a gestational sac, my immediate question was "in the right place?" lol. SOOO happy! DH and I went to our favorite restaurant (thai) to celebrate and then Borders afterwards so I could get my first "pregnancy journal." Oh, we are just thrilled!!

Hi Hope and Lou- You guys are the absolute best!! Ihave been reading the combined group and of course winter 2010/2011 IVF boards but have not been posting. I was too worried and stressed! I stopped haveing pregnancy symptoms a few days ago. My boobs stopped aching and I was only waking up 203 times at night instead of 5-6. i stopped getting nauseas and spotted a little here and there. So I was really scared. But I went for u/s today....we lost twin B but the baby is 9w1d which is perfect and had a heart beat of 175!!!! I got released to my OB today!! I have type 2 diabetes so I had to meet with my endocronlogist today as well...my a1c was 5.1 which is flipping incredible!!! So I am back on board and super excited. I will join the other group tonight. Thanks for checking on me!! It means alot!!!
Krcaja- congrats on your good news! I'm sorry about baby b though. So glad you're joining the combined thread. Today my symptoms seem gone. I only pee once I'm the night, today my energy is high, and no nausea since monday. Go figure.
