FEB / MARCH 2011 Cycle Buddies!! can't wait!

Hello Ladies I was just wondering if I can join you all on here. I have been a memeber on the winter board but since I am not starting for a few I thought I would flip over to the feb/march group. I am waiting on AF and then start my birthcontrol for twenty one days an then injections. This will be my second round of IVF. First one took and had a MC at almost 6 weeks. Was the worst thing ever but I have kept a positive mind and spirit like most do. This cycle is harder for me since non of my husbands family or my family knows we are doing it this time. With the first cycle I kept getting the questions of when will you find out and doesn't that hurt and what caused you to MC. Well DH and I decided to keep this cycle to ourselves until we get our positive HPT and even then I don't know if we will tell anyone for a little while for fear the same thing happened as before. We had no sooner told everyone and my numbers started to drop and well I don't want that to happen again.
I am excited for this upcoming cycle and I am glad I am able to share my story with women who understand how hard of a process this is.

CRISSY!!!!! CONGRATULATIONS!!!! I'm so hoping that the 15th was a lucky day for ET, because you, zdia and I were all ET'd on that day weren't we? I had day3 embryos though.

Oh now I REALLY want to know!!! ACK!! Still waffling on the POAS!!!

Congrats on the all good news on the board. Sorry I have been MIA. During the two weeks of waiting, I just couldn't bear to get on. I kept singing the song "Waiting is the hardest part!"

Great news here of a BFP! Beta of 336! (day 3 transfer, 2 embroys)...Another blood test Saturday and then US 3/7.

Cautiously optimistic...I have been here a bunch before (2 previous miscarrriages; and my daughter started as a twin pregnancy), so just taking it day by day...but really enjoying the GREAT day today!!!

Hi all,

Firstly crissy OMG Congrats that is so great I'm thrilled for you. That is brilliant news.

I had my transfer on Monday the 21 St now it is the 25th and I'm still feeling good, sore back and a bit of tightening but otherwise no symptoms so I'm hoping that's a good sign. This board is good luck I feel. Lyd10 keep us posted.

Jmbella- Welcome. I know what you mean about keeping it to yourself. We didn't tell anyone this time either. Just didn't want the questions or the pressure. I wanted to do this in the way that brought most peace to me. I'm happy I did. My 17 yo son doesn't even know. I'm keeping this under wraps as long as possible b/c you're not outta the woods until you're holding that newborn in your arms, but I'm going to remain optimistic bcuz what God has for you- it is for you. I also believe in Divine Timing.

jmbella- welcome to the board. I know what you mean about not wanting to tell anyone. Its stressful enough going through this and when people know i think it adds stress. We went through 3 cycles without telling, and only caved after that time because I ended up miscarrying and needing a D & C.

wehavehope- sounds like pretty good rates to me. Hopefully your hormones will settle down and youll be ready for the FET next month!

LYD10- anxiously awaiting the results!! Hope you can keep the streak alive.

Bella- Welcome. I too understand the not wanting to tell people. Pretty much everyone at work knows and are very supportive, but my family doesn't. They knew about the 1st IVF, but were not at all supportive of us trying again after it went so poorly last time. I think my mom just doesn't want to see me disappointed again, and she just kept saying "you and Bill have a great life, you don't need a baby to make you a family". So we decided to keep it to ourselves and we'll let them know when we have some good news.

AFM- I slept most of the afternoon (gotta love that Propofol). Feeling a little bloated/sore, but not nearly as bad as last time. I'm still trying to keep my excitement at a controllable level until the fertilization report tomorrow. I just have such a good feeling this time around though. But I do still have that little voice in the back of my head saying "don't get ahead of yourself, you don't know what you've got yet". It's amazing how your mind can just go around in circles. Let the craziness begin!

Ladies! It was a positive!!! A very cautiously positive - a beta of only 20. But the doc said that it' still pretty early - only 13 days after ER - so he thinks its ok to have a low number like that for me. But he did caution me that we are not out of the woods yet and he wants me back on monday to check on it again.

AFM- tomorrow should be my last ultrasound prior to retrieval. Not sure if they will trigger have me tomorrow or push me so I go in for the retrieval Monday. So excited to find out and share the good news. Also- I am taking next week off from work so I am really looking forward to tomorrow. Crazy busy day scheduled in advance of vacation, but when 5 PM comes I am officially done with work for 10 whole days!!!
