So, I went to my doctor today. U/S shows fluid in my abdomen. He said it's a little bit more than the typical buy not bad enough where I need to be hospitalized. I am miserable  my abdomen is distended, my pants barely fit, my abdomen hurts, and God forbid I cough, sneeze, or hiccup I see stars and my uterus feels like it's going to fall out. Can it possibly get any worse? Can someone relate? Any suggestions for feeling better? I am in constant pain and discomfort.

Wehavehope - that sounds like me back in Sept my fresh cycle. Sounds like OHSS, they had to drain fluid from my abdomen twice. I was bloated, swollen, hard to breath but it all disappeared within 4-5 days gradually. Its really tough having OHSS. I threw up every time stood up 2days straight. It shouldn't get that bad hopefully because my RE said my terribly bad reaction to the medication was not common. It is a tough period but you will get over it soon. I am sorry you are going through the pain and discomfort. :( :( :(

Indigo - I plan to go in for my Beta Tuesday as well. both of us will be positive. This is the lucky forum thread. :D

Blair - Thanks for the well wishes. I am positive now that we have 4/4 positive.

I will pick a couple HPT on sunday to POAS.....should I again? What do you ladies think?

Hi ladies,

Wow this thread isnamazing 4/4 BFP how lucky are we. I've had no cramping or anything, just a sore back, from a back weakness yet it worries me. Otherwise in my gut (sorry for the pun) I know I'm pregnant and its going to be good.

We have hope I'm so sorry for what your going through it will be okay. And when you get through it all things will look up.

Good luck zdia and indigo fire let us know if you break and POAS. I know it will be positive. As for me my beta is on the 3/4 which is 3/3 your time.

I hear you. I'm very positive about this cycle, but I just want time to go by faster. I want those embies inside me, darn it! I don't think that I will be so bad waiting for my beta, as I am just going to assume I'm pregnant. Of course I say that now, but next week I'll probably be on here going "I just can't take it! Hope- No need to apologize, I'm sure you are miserable and we all understand. What are we here for if not to vent? Complain away, we can take it!!!

Thank for your support. I too have not shared this journey with anyone so I don't realy have anyone to vent with except for my DH. My kids don't even know, although my 14 yo daughter is quite mosey an I think she knows something is going in. She has satellites for ears 

WeHaveHope - I was MISERABLE at my ER, just after and for 3-4 days after. Every time I had a bowel movement I was seeing stars. Apparently I was collecting fluid and it was resting in my posterior recto-uterine pouch (I know too much info but I'm studying to be a midwife, so I know my pelvic anatomy quite well). The recto-uterine pouch has tons of nerve endings and when there's fluid there it gets irritated and then the added pressure of the rectum emptying made it excruciating. I went for an acupunture appointment and asked her to really work on my kidneys to help with fluid excretion and it was better within 24 hours. I also have a hysterical narcotic reaction to all opiates, so my ER was NOT a good experience. I literally loose touch with reality. I've looked for little green men, thought men were hiding in the ceiling tiles waiting to come get me, you name it, it's CRAZY, or rather I'm crazy when I have opiates. So please feel free to complain. I was so with you a week or two ago. It sucks. And it hurts. And no one understands. Except for us who have been there!

AFM - was grocery shopping tonight and walked out of the store and literally felt like I hit a wall. The fatigue was amazing. As I'm typing this my eyelids are very heavy. I've also been waking up at 5am with an incredible hunger that I've never experienced before. The kind where I have to get up and eat. I can't ignore it. Again, hoping all good signs, but who knows??? GRRRRR hate the wait. And can't POAS tomorrow or Sunday because I"m working. We'll see how I feel about POASing on Monday or Tuesday. I also resisted the urge to go to the dollar store and buy 15 hpt's!!! If I had that many, I'd be going crazy POASing!

Thanks again for all of the support! You guys are amazing!

Indigofire,
Thank you for sharing your story with me. I truly feel awful. I really hope an pray that I get better soon and don't end ip hospitalized. The doctor saw fluid accumulated somewhere in the area of the uterus. Not sir if it is the same spot you spoke of. I really feel alot of pressure in my diaphragm area. It makes it difficult to breath. Please day a small prayer for me to feel better. I am not sure how much more I can take. Thank you again for all of the support.

Kyleen81 - I had no symptoms with my last BFP and I was constipated but only because of the progesterone, Ryann who was on the December board with me had absolutely no symptoms at all and now she is preggers with twins & has the worst morning sickness!

Wehavehope - I am so sorry I thankfully escaped the OHSS but I hear it is awful, can you put a heating pad on your stomach does that help? Take care of yourself & do whatever you need to do to get well

Cwhers - I hear ya! I am happy we are taking our time to do it right but geez...why is it when I am on vacation it flies by but when I want the time to fly by it doesn't! UGH hang in there we will get there I have to wait till the 17th! YIKES!

Zdia & Indigo - This has been a lucky board four for four so far so lets make it six for six OK! I can't wait to hear your awesome results on Tuesday!

Ok I have a crazy 2 year old trying to do somersaults over me while I type this so it appears I am done for the night! Hahaha! Anyways Went for another estrogen blood test today & thank god it was up to 356! I am so happy the cancelled cycle it was only 225 so RE is very happy that it is so much higher and this cycle he is keeping me on estrogen for 17 days before I start progesterone and the canceled cycle was only 10 so 7 more days to grow my lining hope it does the trick! I decided to update my ticker to a pregnancy ticker anything to keep the PMA up! I need it I have a tendency to get down an I mean way down so anything that can help!! :P

Hello ladies!!! How are my favorite pregnant and soon to be pregnant friends?

Wehavehope- I hope you feel better! I have always heard that gatorade helps. So sorry you are going through this. :-(

Indigofire/zdia- stay strong and positive...and if it were me I would stay away from those sticks and keep the PMA going. But that is just my way and I know many need to pee :-) :-) :-)

Cwehr- I am so happy for you and am continuing to pray for your healthy embies to keep dividing and get ready to go home. I felt so bad for you in the last cycle. IVF is tough enough without having to experience what you did last time.

tohavefun- It is your time, I know it! PMA!!!

AFM- I am officially on vacay and am relaxing. Had my u/s today and as I suspected they are going to have me trigger tomorrow night and ER will be Monday. ET will be on Saturday. Looks like we have 11 good follicles- I was happy to see one of the two latecomers catch up with the others. I had a GREAT last day of work until I had a major fertility crisis at the end of the day.

I had to order extra meds after being suppressed early and had them delivered to my office. Well, I work for a bank but not in the "branch" part which gets locked up separately when the branch closes. I am not a customer facing employee and I do not have a key for security reasons. My office has a separate entrance and its just safer if employees that don't need access to where the vault is don't have it (to avoid hostage situations and such). So naturally the mail gets delivered to the branch and the teller who signed for it put it in my mailbox in the branch area which is just fine...as long as I pick it up prior to the branch staff leaving for the night. They USUALLY let me know when they leave for the night and that they are locking me into my area and out of the branch. Why they chose tonight of all nights to skip that part is beyond me but they did. And yep... I was locked away for the night from the meds I desperately needed with no key to get in. So...I had to find my emergency call list and start dialing for branch staff who had keys to come back and let me in. It took 45 minutes and about 6 calls before I found someone who answered. I was so afraid I wasn't going to get them and I was super stressed out because the clock was ticking on when I was supposed to take them. Arghhhhh! Best of all, the lady who let me back in brought her 6 year old daughter who asked me "what is in the box?" I said "medication I need". She says "are you sick?" Well...suffice it to say I was unprepared for that so I told her and her mom the truth.

it's official, I am out of the IVF closet at work! :D (I was with my boss and several employees already anyway, but this will take it to a whole new level)

Gotta love IVF! Every cycle brings a new adventure.

Smile Kyleen...it's not possible to have PMA 100 percent of the time when we are jacked up on all kinds of hormones. You are doing great. Ever tried meditation? It really helps me.

Blair- how are you doing? Thanks for being our list mistress!

Mamaboo- thinking of you. I may have missed it but I haven't seen an update recently.

Kyleen - please know that we have all been there. Super super positive and then all of a sudden in the dumps. Just ride the roller coaster! It's resisting the downs that keeps you down longer. Allow them, and you'll move through them faster. And remember it is part of the journey. And being pregnant your hormones are all over the place!!! I see it as a good sign!!

Fingers crossed for everyone!

Okay, so who thinks it's funny when your post gets eaten????? All my wit and humor down the drain. Let me try to recompose...

Blissful: thanks for asking about me. I really appreciate it. It makes me feel loved  I am just taking my meds and waiting. Sometimes I think time is really going fast, then sometimes I think can time go any slower. :P Less than a week until lining check. Then off Lupron and onto PIO. Yea :? Those are the shots I dread. I did get my Lovenox yeterday. Prefilled syringes and ready to go. That is a blood thinner my RE is putting me on just in case I really need them and last time I "got lucky".

Kyleen: sorry hun. Hormones put you all over the place. I can cry over commercials...and then laugh at myself  Hoping a wonderful BFP for you.

As for those who have already received their BFP's CONGRATS! Hopefully, the rest of us will be there soon. :D
