I just wanted to get some positive vibes coming my way. I wanted to see how many of you were able to get PG from IVF - ICSI and AHA - assisted hatching?
This is my second go around and wanted to see how sucessful those treatments are. Thank you all for your time

I got pregnant twice from IVF, ICSI and AHA. We also did PGD to weed out the chromosomally abnormal embryos b/c of my age. First pregancy was twins (transferred two embies) and lost them at 23 weeks due to a cervical problem not related what so ever to IVF. My current pregnancy we did the same thing but transferred only one embie. I'm starting my 17th week and all is going well. There is alot that goes into IVF being successful. You have to have be on the right protocol/medicine so you stim well, have decent eggs and sperm to get a healthy embie, a healthy uterus to allow for implantation, no issues to prevent a pregnancy from growing. Not to mention all the technical side of this that has to go right in the lab! It's overwhelming indeed! I also did acupuncture b/c it kept me more relaxed and focused on the task at hand in a positive way instead of being stressed and worried all the time. Wishing you the best and hoping a baby is on the way for you!

Gemma Grace was born June 24, 2011!
We did ICSI and AH every time. Check out my siggy. Disregard my miscarriages which have nothing to do with your question...because truly that is due to our ages and also because we just found out that we have a low estrogen problem in the 2ww. However, we have been pregnant at 42 yrs old (once at 39)...5 out of 7 times. So yes, ICSI and AH do up your odds big time for a BFP. Good Luck!

My RE does ICSI/AHA with all his IVF's. I've got pregnant all three attempts, but one turned out to be chemical. We have one son and twins on the way! I think it must eliminate the risk that the two won't combine.
Me 39, endo, high fsh, DH 41 ("super sperm")
One DS from IVF #1, born 10/23/07
EDD 9/1/11 but of course, we expect them to arrive early
