Rebecca - Congrats on the twins!!
Barbara - Thank you! I do feel much better after that U/S!
Sonya - I have moved from the fall board.

Looking forward to getting to know everyone on here! Thanks for the wishes! Oh, and I was 24 when my sister had her first baby. I asked my sister if she was comfortable enough to have me in the delivery room with her and her hubby. She said if it wasn't too weird for me and I wouldn't be grossed out, I was more than welcome. That was the single-most amazing thing I ever witnessed. As soon as I saw my niece's head make an appearance, I was in tears! Even though my sister's labor lasted 22 hours and I saw how much pain she was in, it didn't make me want a baby any less. If anything, I knew that I wanted a baby of my own a lot sooner than later. Never thought I'd experience infertility problems when the time arrived. Oh well, here I am, preggers, and loving every minute of it - even if I have to wake up 5 times during the night to urinate!
Karen - that is a tough situation to be in and I understand both ends of the argument. Hopefully you will come to a decision you both feel comfortable with. Good luck!
Karian - thank you for the warm welcome. Sheesh, I've been tired since the 4th week of my pregnancy. DH thinks all I do is sleep these days, but I feel so out of energy to do anything! No real nausea yet, just some when my tummy is really asking for some food. If I don't feed it, then I get all gag-gy. My sister said her nausea started when she was 6 and a half weeks prego. I am approaching that deadline within the next couple of days, oh boy.
SD - thank you!! Of course I do not mind! In fact, your due date is much closer to Halloween than mine.

Aww, I can't believe that for once I will have my own baby at the family Christmas gathering this year, and not just my niece and nephews! It will definitely make the holiday season a lot more special! And oh my gosh, I get emotional at every little thing these days. Watching baby commercials always gets me. While I was at the bookstore yesterday and browsing through the pregnancy and baby journals, I got all emotional. Heck, I even get emotional while watching Who Wants to be a Millionaire. Ha, that's how I knew I was prego when my results weren't in yet.
Ryann - what an adorable belly shot! Sorry you're still having to deal with morning sickness. Gosh, I hope you're not one of those "lucky" ones who gets morning sickness throughout her pregnancy! Are you still working or taking a break? Hope you start feeling better soon!
Lou - How are you feeling, dear? When is your next u/s?
AFM - I still can't believe that there is a whole another life growing inside of me.. with a heartbeat and all!

While DH and I were driving to the clinic yesterday for my U/S appointment, we saw double rainbows in the sky! I took that as a sign to help me keep calm. "Somewhere Over the Rainbow" by Israel Kamakawiwo was also our wedding song! I love that we saw not just one, but two rainbows on the day we found out we indeed were having a baby!
