Hello, I am new here and have a question as to how long a Novarel shot lasts in your system?
This is my first IVF
I took Novarel 10,000iu on Feb 11
Feb 13- Egg Retrieval
Feb 18 -Embryo Transfer (2 embies)
I have POAS since Feb 17 to see when this shot will leave my system. It was dark on Feb 17/18 and It has gotten very light this week and today but it's still there very faintly though. It has been 15 days since the HGC shot....how long will this stay in your system and has anyone had an experience with it in your system for so long.
I also don't think this IVF worked because I have felt no symptoms, no cramping what so ever!
HCG is usually gone by 10 days says the experts. You've tested everyday since your ET??? How many did you put back?
I think you may be overlapping and now getting the faint of your BFP!! BTW, you don't have to feel symptoms to be pregnant. Don't lose hope. Keep up your PMA.
We would love to have you on the FEB/Mar Cycle Buddies thread. Come join.
I had 2 embryos put back. I actually started testing the day before my ET just to see when this would leave my system.
I had 4 failed IUI's and during that time I used Ovidrel shots and it took about 13 days to leave my system and I would get my period within a day or two of it being negative. Thanks for the kind words and for inviting me over to the other thread
omg Crissy, I just spent about 2 minutes looking at your post, trying to figure out what "F's X'd" meant.... I'm such a dork!
ckret01 - You could also join us on the "Winter Thread" which is a bit bigger, but just as friendly and nice. Maybe we will all hang out on the "Pregnant after Treatment board" --- 15days after trigger is definitely a BFP, not the trigger! Congrats! When is your beta?

Hi There, thank you so much for the reply. Actually I am not sure myself what F's X'd means lol
My beta is on March 3. Seems so far away. I thought the beta would have been 10 days from ET from what I heard but mine is longer 13 days
ckret - I figured it out -- F's X'd = fingers crossed! My clinic does the beta at 17 days after retrieval (so either 14 days after a 3 day transfer or 12 days after a 5 day transfer). Since my clinic isn't open on Fridays, I get mine a day early this time - also on March 3!

Ahhh so that's what it means LOL As soon as you both wrote it I was like ...duh, I get it now!
Leorira11- Oh wow you have the same beta date as me that's cool. I am sending you loads of good vibes your way.
I know I shouldn't have been testing espcially that they say not to. But I was just curious if I could see the HCG shot leave my system like when I did the IUIs. The weird thing is the line has been very light this whole week. It has definitely not gotten darker as they say it should. SO I am not optomistic at all about this. I guess the real test will be the beta.
