crap i lost my post. so short version of it.
leorira- you are crazy my dear. and of course i went out looking for more hpts and guess what? they only had 2 sticks clear blue the whole walmart. i guess this teenagers are knocked up after valentine candy. so i wont get to poas again tomorrow.
Margi- What do i have to say but remain calm esp since you exposed me    now enjoy your last days of stim coz you will be pupo soon. am going crazy analyzing everything inside of me. today i woke up with a cold. not i have a slight runny nose. hope its a good sign but am so scared it makes no sense.
Rio- congrats on pink. now from blue to pink you go. congrats dear.
Anton- fostimon is the same thing as follistim here in the usa. i dont know about the other drug.
Lyd10- go girl at least it doubles. so lets keep fingers crossed for a rise in beta next week. start enjoying being pregnant. positive pma.
Longtime ivf- girl pull out the sticks. just remember to keep up the pma at all times
hopethisworks- am so osrry dear. take time with your wife. this journey can be evil. and for some of us it takes more than one try to succeed. when you are ready get back on the bus.
tammy- you have better luck with insurance i tell you than most of us, esp me.
Caro- yes sometimes the ovaries overreact faster than other times. also remember you used some meds last cycle so they may stillbe in your system. what i would say if get help for your sickness thenworry about the ovaries.
beta 14dpo=89, beta16dpo=298

Qita- So sorry they cancelled your cycle... :(

Margi- So excited for you... You will be pregnant before you know it :)

Rio- Congrats.. :) How exciting you are having a baby girl... Have you been thinking of names?

Anton- Yay for starting meds :) Glad everything went well with all the test...

Hopethisworks- SO SO SORRY... :(

deftonesmo- awesome egg count :)

leora- Yay for BFP :) I dont mind you ranting about your BFP It gets me pumped up for my BFP :) Plus I get excited for everyone on this board, so keep giving us the details.. I love to here the excitement :)

Tammy- Glad you are starting right back up, I know it seems like forever but before you know it the end of MArch will be here :)

Ryan- Congrats that is awesome that you are having one of each... :) You got the full package :)

Lauren- that is so unfair how can they bill you for a cancelled cycle I would look more it to that that just isnt fair... all the money we spend and then they screw someone like that... I would be ticked... Maybe you should research and see if there is anything you can do... SO sorry you have to deal with that, your Dr should help you out and hook you up with a large discount so you can do another cycle...

AFM- Why me, I go to work today for my good friend to tell me she is pregnant and wasnt even trying nor was she ready to start a family.... I just wanted to cry... Why cant I just get pregnant!!!! Well enough about me feeling bad for myself, cause I go for a U/S tomorrow and hopefully I start my stims... I am going in to this with Positive energy so I come out with great news by the end of March :) Please keep me in your prayers, I need all I can get :)

First of all -- 150 pages?! That's crazy! How fun is this board? :D

Rio - congrats on a healthy baby girl!

LYD - at least the beta rose.... your doctor wants you to wait a whole week? You can't get another beta sooner? In general, you can't see much on an u/s until your beta is higher than 1000. I'm keeping my fingers crossed for you honey!

Margi - David only thinks the sticks are evil when I get BFNs and then am 99% sure the cycle is BFN, but have to wait for the blood test. That few days are the hardest part. But he always loves to see BFPs! I hope your trigger was great! Now enjoy your day without injections and get ready for a great ER on Wednesday!

nwquiz - you are too funny! The teenagers have bought out the pee sticks after Valentine's Day? Mwahahaha - thanks for the laugh. Actually, my MIL confided in me that the reason DH and his only brother both have September birthdays is because my FIL had vacation over Xmas. ICK! I did NOT need to know that! :D

Kynlee - I really hope your SnS goes fantastically well today and you get to start stimming! I hate when people don't recognize how much we struggle to get pregnant. I was talking to a 'friend' who is due in October. She says it took them 2 months of trying because the first month she wasn't really sure what she was doing with the temping. WTF? Sheesh! As if my problem is that I don't know how to chart my BBT! Not everyone who charts their BBT gets pregnant the first month they get it right! She is really lucky, but getting pregnant so soon has NOTHING to do with anything she did (besides having sex with her husband). I'm not doing ANYTHING that makes me infertile.

Lauren - good luck with your appeal letter! You really deserve another cycle.

AFM - Amazing how there is always something new to obsess over.... I'm not sure my pee stick is getting darker. Then I compared it to yesterday's and it looks good to me. I know that I'll always tell people not to count on 'how dark' the line is, since that is such a variable (urine strength, amount of dye, etc) -- the fact that there is a line should be enough for me!

I'll probably keep testing at least until beta day. I've seen so many BFNs, that I love seeing the BFP!

here's today's test for your viewing pleasure

Margi- Thank you so much for being happy for me! :D How is your free needle day! I hope you are having a great time relaxing in California b/c the following 9 months are going to be very exciting!!! :D Things are looking good for you my friend! ...Woow! 6! you are transfering all? ...maybe you should think of collecting some money from this board to buy your self a mini van!! That would be cool!! The "Cali baby Van" Image

Leorira- You are welcome to come to Cyprus any time :) I've already came twice ages ago in Jerusalem and walked the Holy Land. I am a Christian Orthodox and Jerusalem has a very special place in my heart  ...I love your idea of buying maternity clothes! why not :D great PMA my friend! Keep it up mommy!! :D Your today's test look lovely! :D I am so happy for you! when is your beta? Image

Rio- A Baby Girl!! Congratulations!!! that is awesome!!! I am so happy for you!!! :D have you thought of a name yet! :D Image

Kynlee- You are in my prayers my friend! :) Dont mess your PMA! There are always going to be pregnant women around us. Think about this, is not fair for all women we know to wait for us to get pregnant and then them. I know its very hard to try so much to have a baby and others do it once and a baby is on the way. It's hard!. But we dont wont other women to suffer with infertility like we do? do we? I am having my fingers crossed for you dont worry! :) I hope you start stimming very very soon!! :) PMA! PMA! :D Image

LYD- Bravo on your beta girl! its looking good :D I hope its only rising from now on!! Image

Deftonesmo- Congratulations on being PUPO!! :D Enjoy every minute! may the next 9 months are healthy and care free! :D I am going to join you pretty soon! Image

CjinNC- With only 2 nights of stim you sure dont get over stimming! I dont know your dosage but I am sure your doctor knows what he is doing. Call him if you still feel pain! there are no stupid questions! and he is obliged to answer anything that is troubling you dear :) Image

HTWM- I am so sorry for you guys! It sucks! :( things don't always happen the way we want them to :( I feel you :( I absolutely agree on keeping your frosties! one of those, or more, is going to be your baby! :) Be strong! it will be a good idea to wait a cycle and then start but your doctor will know better. Good luck on your next cycle! my prayers are with you! we are all in this together! and we all now about grief....but good days are coming for you I know it! :D be ready for some huge waves of happiness coming your way! :D Image

SDTrying- This board has become an addiction! Its like I am reading this "book" everyday and this board is better than a book! I am reading true stories and in real time! while I am posting my own story. my cyber diary...open to my cyber buddies :D How is Hawai!! Having fun dear!!! :D Image

AFM- Went to the pharmacy to buy the Fostimon and wooao! for 12 vials (75 I.U each) I paid $276.68 and that qty is enough of 4 days only! I cant wait to find out how much the Omniptrope is going to cost when I buy it tomorrow from a hospital. this one is supposed to be the expensive one and its cheaper at the hospital according to my RE. I shall see! Well, I cant say that my AF is here...its a bit more than spotting so far...ok more than spotting! its red red red,so I am waiting :D One of the rare times I prayed for my AF to come! I did a long walk this morning, about 4klm next to a river near by and then back home had my favourate smoothy with yougurt, fresh strawberries, a banana and some frozen rusberries. yummy!!!! smoothies with yougurt and fresh fruits are excellent for our health especially during our IVF treatments! Aa! my RE prescribed me and Folicil (Folic acid) he said its good for me. So I took one of those too. No problemo! I'll take anything that will help me bring home our baby/babies! :D

This is how an almond tree looks like! ...but is not one of the pics I took...

Request time for Margi:
Coculture: IVF embryos on endometrial cell coculture using cells from the mothers own uterine lining. The idea is that these cells, which are sometimes referred to as "feeder" cells or "helper" cells, will stimulate development of the embryos by removing toxins from the medium, adding growth factors, or some other beneficial effect.
Who might be most likely to benefit from it?
Coculture is usually not applied universally to all cases in an IVF program. It is usually reserved for the use in the "poor prognosis" patients. Studies have suggested that these patients can banefit the most from IVF with coculture. Examples of poor prognosis patients include women over 40, women with previous IVF failures, women with elevated FSH (Follicle stimulating hormone) levels and women with poor response to ovarian stimulation with gonadotropins.

This is what I have written in my IVF scrabbook. I found it very interesting and that's why I noted it. I hope it helps you!

Margi -- Enjoy your needle free day. Good luck at ER tomorrow. I wonder if you are triggering with half dose HCG to reduce OHSS risk?

Lyd -- I'm glad your beta did go up. I'm really pulling for your bean. Sounds like it's just a slow starter. When is your next beta?

Anton -- Sounds like you had a fabulous weekend! I'm jealous!!! Congrats on the awesome blood work! You are getting closer and closer to that BFP.

Samantha -- Oh hun... those sticks are ruining your PMA. They do that to me too, so I know. That's why I'm not a fan of POAS before beta. Please stop. Try to enjoy being PUPO and the possibility that you very well may be pregnant.

SD -- Have a fantastic vacation! When do you come back? When is your u/s?

Leora -- Your sticks are definitely getting darker!!! I can see that. I can't wait for your beta number on Thursday. So excited for you my dear.

Tiger -- How are you??? I know you're around but I want you to know I'm thinking of you.

Kat -- I'm so sorry you have been sick. Sounds miserable. I see you start again this month. I'll be stalking you for sure.

deftonesmo -- Congrats on being PUPO with 4! Holy cow!

HTWM -- I'm so sorry for your chemical. But I'm really glad you're trying again. It will work this next time.

AFM -- U/S this morning showed baby measuring 7w4d exactly with a nice healthy heartbeat. RE doesn't measure the rate this early, but said it was good. I have still been spotting a bit every day and RE found a small subchorionic hemorrhage. I see my OB next week Wed 3/9, I'm sure she'll do another u/s. Like an idiot, I took an HPT on Saturday and got a line much lighter than any test I had taken in weeks. Turns out it was the "hook effect", where the HCG level is so high the lines start to get lighter. I diluted my urine with water and did another test to see if that is what happened, and sure enough, I got a dark line. Maybe I'll post pics when I get home so you all can see this. It's an evil mind **** for sure! I feel MUCH better now after seeing my baby a few hours ago.

I guess it has been too long since I checked in - I barely recognize any of the folks on here anymore :( Sorry to have disappeared - I've been trying to be a bit less obsessive about fertility stuff between cycles. I'm just starting up again so here we go!

Congrats to all of you who have BFP's - I know it has been a long and frustrating road for many of you and it gives me great hope in seeing some of you now preggers that maybe this cycle will be it for me!! My doctor is trying a slightly different protocol for me - I'm starting off on clomid and then switching to injectibles after a few days. Since I haven't produced high # of eggs in the past, goal is quality over quantity this time.

I'm going to take some time and read more details from at least the past few pages so I can get back into the swing on who is doing what, when.

Anton, that price for the follistim is not bad. Here in the US we would have to pay $800-$1000 or more out of pocket for 900iu of it. It sucks to be self pay! But I am VERY excited you got good results from your bloodwork and your cycle begins! YAY! Spreading the PMA around!

Margi... you are getting so close! How many days after transfer will you stay in California? enjoy the next couple of days because it will be taking it easy and pampering from DH after that!

Leora... still very excited for you and enjoy seeing those tests... I just know your beta on Thursday is going to be awesome!!! Can't wait!

Lou... glad you got some answers from your RE and that the little one is growing well! In a couple of weeks you will be able to see him/her moving around on the u/s!

deftonesmo... wow! 4! Congrats PUPO momma!

Sorry if I missed anyone. Going a bit crazy. Doc is pretty sure I have pneumonia.. I didn't want the chest xray as it wouldn't have changed his treatment anyway. So antibiotics are messing with my GI tract, I can't stop coughing and sneezing and snotting, I have a non-stop headache, and I am sore from the stim shots! I can't wait until the 2ww! I should be feeling better and no more shots.. On top of all of this, I am still working and helping organize a French student exchange for next month. I need a vacation! LOL

CJ - I hope you feel better soon, you poor thing, take really good care of yourself.

kbillsy - welcome back!

Leora - woohoo for darker lines and I can't wait to hear your beta on Thursday. Any way your mom can send you maternity clothes from here? Old Navy has great sales!

longtimer - my 2 IVFs I waited and did not POAS, this one I POASed so it can be good either way but you are still early

Margi - great mature eggs report for tomorrow!

Anton - a few names but nothing stands out yet. Giselle, Cecilia, Katarina, Nicole names that sound and spell the same in English and Portuguese! Love your blinkies! I will do a super AF dance for you!

kynlee - I agree with Anton. I am truly happy when women on this board get pregnant because I know how hard this is. When I hear oops I just got pregnant so soon or it was an accident I have to bite my tongue! I am sending you tons of PMA for your cycle!

Lauren - did you send out the letter to the insurance company? Keeping fingers crossed for you! I think you should post their number here or have us all sign the letter!!!

SD- I wish I was in Hawaii too!

Lyd10 - congrats and super doubling vibes for your next beta! Can't believe you have to wait so long...

nwquiz - you crack me up - now we know who you are!!! Hope you have all 7 dwarfs doting on you ;)

Babydreamz - thanks for crashing girl!!!

AFM - so relieved! I posted a 3D pic of baby girl on the viewtopic.php?f=6&t=23067&start=120 thread, I didn't want to post it here cause I alwasy get worried about hurting someone's feelings and I am not here to do that, I am here to cheer everyone on to the pregnant side - gorgeous mommas to be!

Lauren- Good luck with the appeal letter... :) they should be able to approve another cycle its just not right!!!!

Lou- so happy U/S went well... :)

Rio/Anton- Sorry girls if I sounded like I wasnt happy for my pregnant friends at home, its not that at all... I am super happy for anyone that is pregnant, its just hard to hear from people that dont have to try and that arent even looking to start a family and it comes so easy.. I do get emotional at times especially cause this last year has been a tough journey... I am still Happy for anyone that gets pregnant and doesnt have to go through this rollercoaster... I would never wish anyone to have to struggle with having a baby... I get super excited when anyone on this boards get a BFP cause I know what we have all been through... :)

AFM- I had U/S this morning, there was a cyst but the DR said My estradiol level was fine it was under 20 so they are giving me the go ahead to start Follistim Friday nite :) I go for my net U/S monday and I am beyond excited... I am going to stay very positive this cycle... :)

Baby Dust to everyone :)
