Stephanie - Wow - sorry you are feeling so bad! I had not heard that by 22 weeks a twin pregnancy was miserable . . . I have only 9 weeks left to try to enjoy?? Are your babies especially big? Do you have difficulty reaching the steering wheel in your car too, or just your work vehicle?

Honestly, I know I should want to work as long as I can to save $$ but I am really looking forward to getting out of here!!

I must admit that my hips/low back hurt at night no matter which side - usually it's only my right side - my hypermobile SI joint/L4 is already acting up in unusual ways and my chiropractor noted that my hips are already changing.

I have a bump picture now and just have to transfer it to the computer but don't have my SD/USB thingy with me.

So glad everyone is getting such great news from their US. Can't wait for my level II.

Question - anyone know what do they give for pink eye in pregnancy? My 3-year old just came down with it and I know it is very contagious . . .

Rio, Baby Blu -- Awesome u/s pics! I can't wait for mine.

Leora -- So awesome to see you here. (told you #6 was the charm  )

Zoegirl -- Unfortunately, pink eye is viral and there is no treatment. Rarely, photophobia and pain develops and can indicate associated keratitis which is bacterial. The treatment would be tobramycin or moxifloxacin eye drops. They are fine in pregnancy because absorption will be very small. I'm a pharmacist, btw. :D

AFM -- I had an u/s this morning that went well. My baby is measuring 7w4d with a strong heartbeat. Still looks like a blob though...lol. I can't wait to see a face profile or movement. When does that happen? I do have a small SCH which explains my spotting though. It's not very big and RE didn't seem too concerned. I see my OB next week Wednesday although RE said he would do weekly u/s for my piece of mind until I'm 12 weeks, so I may be back there once or twice more, hehe.

Leora - what a great line you got there!!! I am so excited for you and I know we are all so happy to have you here!

Lou - congrats on an awesome US!!! Around 9 weeks they start getting more of a cute baby form and it is very fun,. did you get pictures of your adorable blob?

Mellow - taking it easy momma? Your blog pics are great, gorgeous family, I am still sad you are not going to be my neighbor!

Hope - got you on the list!

Sonya - when are you getting your 3D US?

Stephanie - great bump pic! Sorry you don't feel good already :( it is totally ok to whine and vent here, we are all happy to be pregnant but know very well it is not without it's toll on our body!

Karen - when is your level II I can't wait to find out what you are having!

I am still in shock about a girl, I so thought we were having another boy :) I feel so great about her being healthy what a huge relief I feel like I can be completely happy now. We have a few names, I would like a name that translates into Portuguese well. Giselle, Nicole, Elizabeth, Cecilia, Victoria, Katarina. Not sure yet. The funny thing is our boy is still insistant we are having two babies and two boys. I told DH he is just predicting our surprise pregnancy in 5 years when we thought we were done and could never conceive without IVF. I think DH is especially nervous after I told him about mellow and her conceiving 3 children naturally not knowing about MF!!!

Okay, a question for you all.

When I stand or am walking around, my legs get all tingly and start itching a little, my feet too. It's driving me crazy! Anyone have any input? Or am I just a weirdo? haha :)

I hope it's not RLS, but that is usually worse when you are sedentary . . . maybe it's just all your blood? If you do have RLS and need info let me know. I'm an expert after it came on in week 20 of my last pregnancy and NEVER went away to this day . . .

Gosh, I feel a bit intimidated being on this board. Seems like everyone here cycled together at one point or another. I only know a selected few. :? But hoping to get to know you all!

I have been extremely busy with school work over the past few days, so my participation on boards has come down to a minimum. I have my next U/S scheduled for this Friday, the 4th. I'm still hoping my baby peanut is fighting hard in there. Over the last couple days, I haven't had many symptoms, so it's scaring me a bit.

A question for you ladies. I still don't have an OB picked out (I know, crazy). I did have one that referred me to my RE, but she speaks way too fast for my taste and she barely lets me get a word in. So I really want to pick out another OB. How should I go on a search for a good OB? What questions should I ask when I call the office to make an appointment? I don't know where to begin! My RE gave me a business card to an OB she recommended, but after reading her reviews on Yelp, I am a bit discouraged. Any insight, anyone?

Rio - thanks for adding me to the list! I can't believe I'm on a pregnancy list!! :D :D

Leora - loving that beautiful stick of yours!! SOOO happy for your BFP!! Only 2 more days till your beta, woohoo!!

Lou - Glad to hear your baby bean is doing well! When do they start measuring the heart rates?

Ashley...you'll get to know everyone quickly-don't you worry! As for picking an OB...I first picked what hospital I wanted to deliver at. Then I went on the hospital website and searched through their docs. I picked one that was also high risk and I thought he had nice eyes in his picture :) when I met him I was right! So he was the only one I went to. But I usually find the hospital website an easy place to start. I had my old OB/GYN that came through recommendation for my surgeries, but she is too far from home to deliver my baby. It would take over an hour to get to the hospital IF I went into labor on an off-traffic hour! Good luck :)

mellow-so my doc kinda giggled a little at my concern for not gaining weight. He said "oh it will come". He said to drink ensure too if I want. But he said what's importan is fluid and my prenatals, so I'm trusting him. Luckily I have my 3D ultrasound one week from today so I can see for myself that they are doing fine. As far as the tingle-IDK!!! If it were me i'd be calling. I just like to know what my doc says. Could just be the babies sitting on a nerve or something???

Rio-congrats on the baby girl :)

I think the babies decided to stretch out overnight because for some reason i feel so much bigger today than yesterday! And I'm very proud of myself-I ate breakfast and lunch today...AND made DH taker to Chili's when I got home from work!!! I haven't eaten three meals in a day since probably 5 weeks! And as I type this I think I'm hungry again???

Oh-I think we have our names picked! Our little boy is Ethan Jon and our little girl is Isabelle Christina. Of course if we find out the gender is differnt our other names are Dylan and Emma or Olivia. It's so exciting to be at a point where I am calling these little monsters something!!!!

Big hugs ladies! I feel so lucky to have you all to share this with!!!

I know I missed all of you, but I'm on my iPhone so it's hard to go back and see what I need to respond to-sorry!!!!

Hope-- I am not sure when they start measuring heart rates. I have an OB appt next Wednesday, maybe she will measure then.

Ryann -- Lovely names. I like the alternate names you have as well. How are you feeling?

Karen -- Thanks! I was really happy to see everything looked good. RE said the baby looks normal, but it doesn't look like a baby to me yet.

Rio - I did get a pic of my "blob". I will post. It doesn't look anything like your precious u/s pic. How amazing. I can't wait.

AFM ... OK everyone.... here's my 7w4d little "shrimpy". We saw the duct that connects the yolk sac to the embie also. RE said that's hard to see and doesn't always show up. The arm buds are forming and visible in this pic. And my baby literally tripled it's size from a week ago. No wonder I've been so tired! I'm busy building a freakin' person...lol.

Hi Guys!!
I'm hopping on over from the FEB board. I hope you guys will have me. Rio plz add me in. Got my official BFP a week ago today. My HEDD is Nov 3. Yeah Me!! Contrary to how upbeat that just sounded I'm in the most agonizing pain of my life. Even though my ER was 2wks ago I'm just now coming down with OHSS. It's excruciating. I spent all night in the Emer Rm.
Anyone else come down with OHSS after BFP? If so, how long did it last?
Can anything ever come easy? BFP has it's price. Dr. says OHSS is feeding off of more HCG production.

Hi crissylove - I'm going through OHSS right now too. My ER was on 2/15 and I had mild OHSS afterward but went ahead with a one embryo transfer. This past Friday 2/25, I started to develop severe OHSS symptoms. I couldn't breathe, lie down, my belly was going to explode, etc. The doctor drained me yesterday transvaginally and got 3 liters of fluid. I felt immediate relief. I was told to rest today and have been feeling a little sore, but sooo much better. At least I can breathe. I'm really nervous about it coming back, though. I've heard some horror stories. But I recommend the draining if it gets really bad for you. The transvaginal procedure really was pretty simple. Worst part was getting the IV.

The good news is that with the OHSS I also got a BFP. I go in tomorrow for my second beta. I wish you the best - OHSS is miserable.

Hi Ladies,

I started a November 2011 thread, but then I was informed by 2 of you of the existence of this board. So here I am!
Got my BFP on Sunday. It was my second FET attempt. I have a beautiful son from my 1st fresh cycle.
The 1st time I had developed OHSS so I was swollen like a cow from day 1. This time no such issue but I feel exhausted. When the nurses told me about the BFP I couldn't believe it since other than my humangous boobs and some mild cramping which I had with my previous BFN, I had no other symptoms. Of course I was overjoyed.
I just hope for the best. In my last pregnancy I miscarried one of the twins and the memory of it is still very vivid.
Being 41 and having a 15month old to run after doesn't make matters any easier.
Anyhow, looking forward to sharing this journey with you guys.

Welcome Chrissy! I'm so sorry you're dealing with OHSS.... I didn't have OHSS although was considered a high risk with 33 eggs retrieved. I was told to drink tons of salty liquids like V8 and Gatorade.... I hope you feel better - it IS worth your beautiful baby... take it easy and get to know everyone - we're a great group!

Welcome Nancy and huge congrats on your BFP!! I'm inspired by you having two! I'm going to be 40 in September and we have five frosties that we want to put in about six months after this one is born. I can understand how exhausted you are - I was a mess for the first 11 weeks or so. I hope you feel better soon! Again, congrats and welcome to the board.
