hope- I am so sorry for your chemical. I had a chemical on the 2nd IVF and it was harder than getting a BFN.

TammyS- Thank you for the hair comment. It was on the spur decision, but it turned out good. I am glad you are jumping right back in there.

AFM: We had our WTF appointment today with our RE. I think he is going to give us a free cycle this time I told him we didn't have the money and we needed to see his finance person and he said no we didn't . He said I earned alot of brownie points for all that we have been through. YAY for brownie points!!! So the plan is we are doing a cycle in July and doing a freeze all on day 1 until October then do the transfer in OCT. the idea is to give the uterus a chance to calm down from all the drugs. Also, if there is someone going through in April who has a ton of eggs and donates them we may use donor eggs along with mine. I am glad we decided to stay with this RE. He is wonderful and he listened to all my ideas today. I am starting DHEA now. One way or another come October I will be pregnant I can feel it. Baby dust to you all.

P.S My mom is having surgery Thursday for uterine fibroids, so we will be leaving for Memphis, TN in the morning. Everyone send a prayer for her please and lets pray it is not cancer. That is why I haven't been on much I have been traveling back & forth. It is 4 1/2 hrs one way.

I had my consultation today. As long as my vitamin d level is up, we will be doing FET next cycle or the cycle after that (depending on when blood work, on March 23, falls in the cycle).

Rio- I saw her! I saw your baby girl! She going to be a sweetheart! I am so happy for you! Bravo! I love all the names on your short list and I am glad you have Nicole there b/c my dh name is Nicholas and I just love that name! I believe that even if you are not sure of her name when she is born and you see her for the first time she will "tell" you her name just by looking at her face! We have already decided names if its a boy or boys or girl or girls! all we missing is to get pregnant! Keep on dancing my friend! AF is not fully here yet!!

Amanda- I am so glad you are having a plan for your next steps! Things will be good! just wait and see! ...and plus! a free cycle for you guys! awesome news! I will let you know how it goes. ...good thing with my AF I never feel a thing when she is here or before or after. Only sore boobs and maybe a bit of cramping but some times but even efter my BFN when flow is heavy I feel nothing. So theres one good thing about her!

Nicole - I'm so glad you are enjoying your vacation! I was at the mall the other day and they are having a ton of great sales. I tried on a few things before thinking "hmm.... if I'm pregnant, I really shouldn't buy new clothes - let's wait until next week" and then I got my BFP! I'm probably going to go to the mall again today (wow....being unemployed is really boring!) and I'll only shop for shoes/accessories or maternity stuff!

Anton - #5 sounds great! I really hope you get to start your stims soon! What's funny about living in Jerusalem is that since we moved here, we've kinda lost interest in God/religion (mostly because of our struggles and our losses). Everyday, I walk in the city that is holiest in 3 major world religions, but I find myself questioning the existence of God. Weird, no? Coming from the USA, it's really strange to me too to pass the Old City of Jerusalem everyday - seeing those massive stone walls and buildings that were built thousands and thousands of years ago! Totally against the American psyche of "newer is better"!

Lou - hurray for #6s! Hopefully we will both get our babies in Oct/Nov (personally, I'm hoping to go 3 days overdue, so my LO is born on 11/11/11! how cool would that be?) Hurray for another fantastic ultrasound! I'm so nervous about mine....

kbillsy - don't worry - we all totally understand that sometimes it's hard to think about this sh*t all the time. Welcome back though! I never heard of Clomid at the beginning of a IVF cycle, only IUI. Are you doing IVF or IUI? Either way, I hope it works! When do you think you'll start? Waiting for AF?

Carol - oh poor honey! Feel better! Why not have the chest X-ray? If it's not pneumonia, it could be a host of other problems. I hope you feel better soon! I've had pneumonia and it's awful.

Rio - congrats on a beautiful baby girl. My mom can send me maternity clothes, but I don't need them for a while. Also, since I was pregnant with the twins, we've gotten H&M here (it was really exciting for the locals -- literally made the front pages of the newspaper. In the mall near me, they closed a 7 theater movie theater to open the H&M - it's enormous!) and the H&M has a maternity department which seems quite reasonably priced.

LYD -enjoy your week break! Just curious - what do you do to exercise? I'm always looking for new, interesting things to do to stay fit. I HATE running/walking - so I try to do ANYTHING else. Right now, I'm swimming 3 times a week. I try to swim a mile (it takes me 45 min).

Amanda - You have been through a LOT and if you can get a free cycle that would be amazing! Some people do better if they freeze all the embryos and do a FET. Oddly, it's the opposite for me. I've never gotten pregnant on any of my 3FETs, but I have gotten pregnant on all 3 of my fresh cycles. Weird - since my doctor says if there is a pattern it's usually the opposite. and I'll be thinking of you and your mom tomorrow.

Sherry - just curious, I've never heard of the vitamin D issue, why is your doctor concerned about it? What a great excuse to get lots of sunshine!

Yes... CHOCOLATE!!! That makes all the evil thoughts go away... well maybe not all...

AFM... feeling moderately better. I didn't opt for the chest x-ray because the doc wouldn't have treated it with any different antibiotics than what I am on already. I have never smoked a day in my life and have led a pretty clean life, yet I have battled upper respiratory infections, bronchitis and pneumonia my entire adult life. I catch everything that is going around and have learned the cycle of illness in me. I usually give a cold 3-4 days to go away and if it gets worse and ends up in my chest, I always start meds. I have been tested so much lately and have had so many x-rays in my life that I try to avoid if at all possible - especially if its not going to change the outcome of treatment. I just hope I am better by this weekend so I can do some yard work. This past weekend I was miserable and could barely get off the couch and it was in the upper 70's and sunny. Spring is almost here!

Amanda - sorry your cycle didn't work out, but I'm glad to hear it sounds like your dr is going to help you out on the next one. My dr hasn't ever offered to help with the cycle cost but they have given me some free meds a few times now since they know I'm self pay and our expenses are through the roof! Good luck with things with your mom.

Anton - hope AF visits for real today! I just had a chocolate muffin with my breakfast - your post made me feel a little less guilty about it

Lauren 1171 - sorry to see that you are still here too - good luck with getting the insurance approval. You have been through so much - hopefully they will be able to do something.

AFM - I started the clomid on Monday - I go back in on Friday for S&S to see how things are going. I had been on BCP from 2/14 until 2/27 - so now that I just came off that, I'm sort of getting AF or at least very heavy spotting for the last 2 days. Seems odd to have AF and be in the follicle growing stage at the same time - do you guys think this seems right?

I was wondering what kind of side effects you ladies have from the follistim meds. I am trying to decipher which symptoms are from being sick and what are from the meds. From clomid I would have hot flashes and headaches. I can't imagine how you ladies feel when you are pumping out 20 eggs or more! Is spotting a symptom? I never have AF more than 4 days and I am CD7 today.

I'm also getting alittle worried about my SnS tomorrow morning. I think because I realize "this is it", so if it doesn't work its going to be over for me for a while, until I can come up with funds for IVF with DE, if that is an option at all for us. So now I'm thinking, if I bomb out like last cycle I'm screwed! Ugghhh... trying not to think about it too much, but I know I won't get much sleep tonight. I know I don't want to bother with IUI if I only have one or two eggs, but what is the typical max number of follicles before most RE's would cancel a cycle? Just trying to think of a good number to hope for....
