No fetal pole or yolk sac stopped progesterone

Found out this week my pregnancy is not growing, sac is small, no fetal pole, no yolk sac so my doctor said for me to stop my progesterone injections. I am at 7 weeks today. What I am wondering is how long after you stop did the bleeding start? Hoping I don't have to have a d&c. He told me if I haven't started bleeding by Friday he was gonna give me some kind of pill. Any info on this would be appreciated. Thank you all and hope babies are in all our futures

The same thing happened to me last week. I got the bad news on Friday, stopped the progesterone (so last dose was thurs.) I never started the m/c on my own. They told me to call if it had not started by Monday. So I called Monday and they called in a prescript for tablets called Cytotec. You insert 2 vaginally and the cramps start about 20 min later. My main "m/c" started about an hour or 2 later. The main part only lasted a few hours, but I still have bleeding today, which is normal. It resembles about a day 3-4 of AF. I hope this helps. I feel much relief since the main m/c process is almost over. The waiting for the process and anticipating it was the worst, other than the loss itself.

Thank you Dallas for your response. Sorry to hear you are going through the same thing as me. I have my call on Friday for my pills as well. Just ready to get this behind me and to try again. I wish you all the best with your next cycle and hopefully u and I have babies soon.

I'm so sorry ladies. I am about to go in for my first ultrasound at week 7 on Monday, and scared of what's to come.... I hope babies are in all our futures. Lostgirl
