Ghost Please Help

Ghost or anyone, i think i might have screwed up this cycle. I'm afraid of the answers i might get cus i don't want to put off my transfer but i also don't want to worry about this forever. I was supposed to take 4mg of deloestrogen and I believe i have been taking 8mg. I had a 1ml syringe and i was taking .4. i just realized this yesterday. I have take 2 shots a week one on Tuesday and the other on Friday. Do you think this could mess up implantation? I should have transfer tomorrow. I'm doing a donor egg cycle.

Does not sound like much of a problem to me. Be sure to tell your RE. I doubt he/she will question your endometrium over such a small error.

OMG Thank you Ghost!! I can't concentrate on anything till i know this is OK. I emailed my RE to get his input but your reassurance has eased my mind greatly.

Ahhhh.... I've wondered for so long whether ghost was a male or female.... little mystery enlightened for me!

Ghost is also very honest, good news or bad, and has a ton of amazing information on this entire process. And we are grateful for his presence on this board. He's put my mind at ease or helped me prepare for what I knew was bad news many times.

My RE did bloodwork and my E2 levels are good so Im Ok to transfer today as long as i have some genetically normal blasts. I was told from now on to make sure i do 4mg.

Estradiol protocols vary a lot. The main issue is to get enough. I don't know if there is any such thing as too much in the follicular phase.

Ghost has helped me soo much along my journey. I remember one of my cycles ghost had left the boards for a while, and it was so depressing. When I needed an honest opinion I didn't know where to go to find it! My clinic seemed to sugarcoat everything. I always wanted the truth.

Thanks Tammy and Lou - We transferred 2 CGh normal blasts today. A boy and a girl. figured we would do one of each and that way if only 1 took then we still have the fun of getting the gender in the 20th week. After 3 yrs of doing IVF this is my first blast transfer so i am beyond hopeful. My PMA is like i am a newbie on my first cycle. just hoping that it isn't another BFN because its going to be a really hard fall.

Tammy - i haven't followed the other board. what are your plans?

Chris- you will not get a BFN. On the contrary, I think you have a high chance of twins! Just curious, how many of your 13 were CGH normal and how many frosties did you get?
