I am tired from ER, but feeling positive. Got 12 mature eggs. Not bad for an old Goose, eh? Will see tomorrow really when we get the fertility report, however.

Becca: Congratulations on transfer on Friday!!! Awesome!! Our transfer will either be Saturday or Monday--depends on if we have enough embryos to push to a 5dt or not.

_Tohavefun: How did the report go on day 3? CGH testing? Hoping for a wonderful transfer tomorrow for you!!!

AFM-we're in a holding pattern. I can not seem to get DH on board. When I ask if he would like more children the answer, of course, is yes. But when it comes down to the nitty gritty, planning to sit with RE he just shuts down. Come on now, I'm the one with dusty dull eggs and we have been counseled to use DEs. Any suggestions on how to pep up the interest in poor DH?
ITMT-I continue to be as healthy with the supplements as possible. Of course the mother and mother-in-law try to sabatoge the whole process, grrrrr I have to limit my contact with these evil women, hahahaha.

Catharine - Good luck on getting hubby on board. it took 3 more cycles that i really didn't want to do, to convince my hubby that DE was the way to go. He agreed but I know he is hoping that if we have one child that their is a possibility that we might get preggo with my own eggs after that. yep, dream on.

Margi - i had my transfer today. We transferred 2 CGH normal blasts. one boy and one girl. Hoping and praying this time it works. i have to keep reminding myself that these eggs came from a 25 yr old. Good Luck on your cycle, can't wait to hear your fert report.

hi ladies, i hope it's not inappropriate for me to quickly crash in to say some 'hellos'.. it's funny- i was re reading my old pm's from over the years, and NY- i searched you out as i wanted to say hi and say i'm thinking of you.. i'm sorry more eggs didn't fertilize.. i wish you all the best in whatever direction you go next if this one does not work.

chris- i'm very excited and happy for how things are going for you.. all sounds soooo promising.. yah for DE's!

Catharine: Is it the DE's that is bothering him? Maybe you should just set an appt with RE and tell him when it is so you can all discuss it....I don't know....DHs are sometimes a difficult breed..hope he gets on board soon.

Becca: Congratulations on being PUPO tomorrow...wishing you a smooth transfer and some nice rest.

NY: Any news?! How are you doing?

AFM: 10 fertilized! Doctor is really pleased. We shall see how they are doing on Saturday and decide then whether to do a 3d or 5d transfer. In the meantime I am trying to rest, but also get in some site-seeing while we are here in California.

ET was this morning. We watched on the monitor as the embies we placed and doctor said they are in perfect spot. Hoping that one or both latch on and we have a BFP on 3/14. Hubby is being so sweet and waiting on me hand and foot.

Quick update: Going for a 5 day transfer....still have 8 embies going strong! 2-11 cells, 1- 9 cell, 3- 8 cell, and 2- 7 cell,. I am optimistic, but I understand that the 11 cells may be dividing too rapidly? Anyway, I am being cautiously optimistic and looking forward to transfer on Monday!!

This morning I transferred 3 "perfect" blasts and 2 morulas. Now starts the crazy 2ww!!! Wish me luck! They are watching 3 other morulas to see if they turn to blasts to freeze...

they were unable to freeze our remaining 3. i was sort of surprised that with a donor cycle, we only ended up with 2 embyros. is that normal? After receiving 11 total eggs, I was hoping for some frosties.

But staying positive that we won't need to do another cycle, because this one will stick. DH is waiting on me hand and foot.

Any of you girls going with donor... it was the best decision I ever made. I have two beautiful baby boys after so much heartache... they are mine... DE was the way for me and I never think twice. Happy!!!
