We - so sorry you have to wait again. There is something freeing in surrendering this to a higher power. We do everything we need to do to make things happen and trust that that higher power will take care of it when it's meant to happen. Faith can be very difficult in this journey. But it sure can bring a sense of peace at times.

AFM - still waiting for AF. No signs. I was cramping before my beta but now nothing. It's been 2.5 days since my last PIO and nothing. Come on AF come on!!!! Oh wait I lied, one symptom, major PMS. Wanted to rip my clients head off today when she wouldn't listen to me. And then my poor hubby got in my line of fire when he got home from work. Oops. At least I'm aware of it and can remove myself from the situation before it gets ugly.

crissylove- Assuming the quality is still really strong tomorrow I am only putting back two. Twins I can survive. Triplets? Can't risk it. I'd love to though. I am super excited that we have 6, but do feel guilty that they will not all be my babies. But only a very little bit...

indigo- doing the running man in my kitchen this morning singing "Whoop There It Is" trying to will Aunt Flow to come to you. Those who have been on the board awhile know that I am not joking. I try to find the silliest AF dances for my special friends. DH has know idea why I am doing it. Hilarious to see his face.

AFM- getting packed for my trip downstate. I am so excited and positive about this cycle that I actually took a big risk and bought DH a celebratory gift. How is that for PMA? Its a book called "A Father's Legacy" which guides him through the process of documenting his life for his kids. I am not sure how I am going to get him to fill it out when I can't get him to do his taxes, but we will worry about that later.

Kidding- the man is well trained. The taxes were done yesterday morning before lunchtime. Progesterone may be evil but it gets results.

Blissful you are too funny!!! Whoop it up for me. Still no AF...grrr...just want to get started again although very lucky that I can do back to back cycles.

Feeling really positive about our donor blasts! Now to transfer one or two? I really don't want twins. With PCOS I'm already at much higher risk for gestational diabetes and PIH (pregnancy induced hypertension) and if I carry twins both of those are pretty much a guarantee. But I really want to increase my chances...hmmmmm. Thinking, thinking thinking!

Bliss- I think its good that you got DH the new book. Staying positive is the way to go since you know you will get your BFP this cycle! Im also glad you got him to finish his part of the taxes. Your comments on the progesterone made me laugh. Whenever Im on all these meds I turn into a psycho sometimes so I know exactly how you feel. DH always knows when to avoid conflicts with me.

Indigofire- I am doing the AF dance for you so hopefully she will come to visit soon!! As for your question with how many donor embryos….I would go with 2. I would just rather increase my chances and be safe than sorry. But with your higher risk or gestational diabetes and PIH it sounds like a much tougher decision. Good luck.

To_have_fun- Congrats on being PUPO!!! Enjoy your first full day and make sure to relax this weekend. Sounds like the fact that you had hatching blasts means you may very well be bringing home boy/girl twins. How exciting!!! I am a little jealous that you all know what the sex was when you transferred.
Mamaboo- how did your US go?? Hopefully your lining was great and things are still on track for your ET.

You ladies are absolutely wonderful. I was listening to a song today, and I thought this describes this board. It was "I Am Your Angel" by Celine Dion.

I have had a better day today. I had lining check today. It was done by one of the new RE's at the clinic that I go to. He explained everything so thoroughly. I thought I had a very deep understanding of what was going on before. I was wrong. He explained that the reason I have been on Lupron is to keep ovaries from producing eggs because the follies will start producing progesterone on their own. Once the lining starts receiving progesterone, in exactly 6 days, receptors are formed and ready to receive a blast. That only lasts for 24 hours, then it is too late. It isn't only the thickness, but at the right stage of "development" for the embryo.

Well, he said I did everything perfectly. My lining was 10.4 and my ovaries had not produced any follies. He even called my cervix gorgeous. Hey, I may not be much to look at on the outside, but I have a gorgeous cervix! Anyway, everything is a go. I start PIO tomorrow and am set for ET on Friday 3/11!

Hey all - had my 2nd draining today and they drained another 3 liters. That's 6 liters of fluid in 5 days. I feel so great today! I'm going to enjoy this feeling while it lasts. I was supposed to rest today, but I just had to stay out of the house, so I did a little shopping with my mom and it was great. And I'm going to sleep flat on my back tonight. Woo hoo!

WeHaveHope - I know what you mean about the pizza. I've only been eating soup the past few days, so after my procedure, I went and had some cheese fries. So bad, but so good.

I had my third beta today and they were supposed to call me in the afternoon with the results. The nurse called around 5:30 PM and said that the lab was having some technical difficulties, so they wouldn't get the results until the morning. Is that code for, "We'd rather let the doctor tell you the bad news in the morning"?

I'm so pessimistic.

I am Glad you ate feeling better. Hopefuly, this will be the last time you will have to have fluid removed. With regards to the Beta, try not to stress about it. I am a nurse and labs routinely haveresulya delayed. So, keep your head up. Know that we are here for you. Please keep us posted.

Timber- I hate it that they are leaving you hanging with your results. I didn know you had gone back for a second beta and now a third. What were the results of the second? My fingers are crossed that its better news than you think.

I'm PUPO!!! We had 4 left of the 6. One grade 1 blast and 3 slower developing morulas grade 2 plus. Based on my age and quality of our embabies they said only 2 to 4 % chance of triplets. 15 to 20 of twins, and 50 of a singleton. Doc recommended we put in three... So we did!!! OMG!!!

My RE uses a basic grading system like that for 3 day embies so I am really unsure of quality. Will upload a pic when I get home!

Indigo- congrats on your AF arriving!

I was a little concerned because the photo of my blast and morula didn't look too much like the perfect blasts that you see in various websites and my RE doesn't use a very descriptive grading system, but I feel a little better now after a little research. When I asked the RE why my blast looked so different he said that it hadn't fully expanded yet and probably would by about noon today. It also turns out that there are different progression rates depending on the clinic and the type of medium you use.

So all in all I wasn't thrilled that I didn't have a number of perfect blasts and ended up taking the risk of transferring three, but hey...I AM STILL PREGNANT! Grow babies grow! Stick babies stick!

Here are two of my three embabies. As you can see one is very early blast and the other is a late bloomer. I am no expert though, so any thoughts you ladies have are appreciated. What do you think?

One more thing I should clarify- on my REs scale a "1" is a good thing (which is the opposite in standard blast grading). Like I mentioned...same scale as three day embies.
