Anton... mmm. paella..yummy... how are the stims going? I am actually tired of doing them! I'm scared for my SnS tomorrow morning.. I'm so worried if they aren't growing like they should and I only end up with one. I actually want to see an IUI cycle through to a BFP!

Sorry if I don't have much to post... I'm STILL sick. AND to top it all off, DH is now sick too. We are spending this rainy sunday lying around coughing, snorting and watching movies with all our little fur-babies. We have 3 dogs and 3 cats and when we are on the sofa to veg out for a movie, they all fight for the best spot and see who can be the closest. Its crazy... they are little little kids begging for affection. I'm feeling light=headed now from coughing... going back to the couch. Take care everyone and wish me luck for tomorrows sono.

Since you asked....I took my last HPT today. I wasn't feeling pregnant (not sure what that means since I'm SUPER nauseous) - so I wanted to make sure that things were still okay....

I changed my insulin doses and I am all messed up, I feel shaky and weak this weekend, I am also a bit anemic so I keep trying to do things like clean the house but have to sit down or lay down all the time, then I have these hunger attacks but can't really eat because of the GD. I feel so off, I hope things get settled again so I have my energy back!!!

Rio - Sorry you have not been feeling great. No I have my letter all written, but I am waiting to receive the one from my RE so I can send them together. I did start taking DHEA and coq10 2 days ago. I started with 25mg DHEA and 150 of coq10. Not sure what dose I should be taking.

Leora - I love your new pic!!! I am glad you don't have to join some of us on the spring board when it starts!

AFM - nothing new to report. I had my little dog spayed on Wednesday. Poor little thing! She now is swollen there like a little ball! Does anyone know if this is normal? She runs around too much! I try to keep her calm but she is a little nuts! I am calling the vet in am anyway since they were closed today.

I am sure they are growing as they should be and will bring you a BFP at the end of this cycle! PMA! Lauren- Hope you get the letter from your RE soon enough to done with this insurance thing and move on with your next cycle! Shouldn't you consult your doctor on the dosage you are taking? Ask him so that you are sure dear!

AFM- I am doing great with stiming and I hope for the best! Tomorrow I have blood test and on Wednesday u/s. So I guess everything is right on track! Today is day 5 of stiming and boy things are looking good!

Hi, it has been a while ago since I hang here last time. I am happy to see you are still here.

I have just come back from the first consultation in the new clinic. It appeared to me that the new clinic is more flexible: they work during weekends! They could handle short protocols without taking pills before the stimulation. They took blood from me and my DH for tests. Will go back for echo 3 days after my next AF.

A question to everyone: for the short protocol, does the stimulation without prior BCP taking result in eggs with higher quality? The new doctor claim my old clinic asked me to take BCP just for the planning, which is not really benefit for the treatment. Could someone clear out this point?

Kynlee - I've always taken 150-200iu of either Follistim or Menopur or a combination of the two. Good luck at SnS today!

Lauren - poor little doggie! We have a male dog and he was disoriented when he came home from being fixed (or 'broken' as DH calls it!) but it's totally different with a girl. I hope she feels better soon!

Kerri - I hope things are better at the new clinic. By "short" protocol, do you mean antagonist? (ie, with Ganirelix instead of Lupron) I don't know the answer to your question, since I've always taken BCP before cycles.

AFM - nothing new to report. I'm really not feeling pregnant - but then again I'm super nauseous and have eaten 3 tuna bagels in the last 24 hours after not liking tuna fish for the last 10 years... so maybe that's a good sign. I'm really dying for my u/s on Thursday.... even though I know there won't be much to see. Off to take a nap! I'm zonked!

Leora, thats funny what you said about the tuna bagels. I eat tuna now and then, but when I was pregnant last, I craved tuna sandwiches and ate one probably every other day until I realized pregnant women aren't supposed to eat that much fish due to the concern of mercury. But I don't know why I wanted it so much.

Had my u/s this morning and I still have 3 on my right growing - 13,13,and 12 and one on my left, but only a 9. But here's the thing... and I wonder if anyone else has noticed this.....the follicles in my left ovary grow faster than those in my right. In the months I have done stimming, the left always pops up a mature egg faster, even when the right was growing first and has more follicles - it happened last cycle too. I wonder why? It also happened the cycle I got pregnant. At cd12 they saw nothing on my left and a couple small ones on my right... I ovulated 4 or 5 days later and got pregnant off my left. SOooo... I guess that means there is still hope for the one on the left to catch up. I go for SnS on Thursday morning and hopefully with trigger Thursday night with IUI on Saturday. Not very good timing for me, as I had a busy weekend of yard work with the kids and DH planned. I guess I will have to be more of a "supervisor". Praying I am PUPO by this weekend!

CJinNC funny that you say that... my right ovary seems always grows follicles faster than my left side. Are you left handed by chance? Good luck with the IUI this weekend! AFM - took a hpt this morning and as usual negative... so I've been down... already had bloodwork... but no hopes for good news... so I guess this is it for my fifth fresh ivf cycle... As you know how the cycle goes... I'll be away for a while from posting... but always cheering you all from afar... hope I'm taking away all the negative vibes from the board and everyone gets their BFP soon... Does anyone know how to repaint and refurnish the uterus so embies would like to stick around at least for one bfp??? sheesh...

Ok... I have an urgent question, while I wait for response from RE... I talked to my RE nurse this morning about my issues in the past with ovulating too early before my follies were mature and doc had spoken about adding ganirelix to prevent that from happening. Well he spoke nothing about it this cycle. Here I am excited about possibly having some good follies for later this week and, out of my concern, I decided to get some OPKs to test. I just took one and its positive. It will probably be darker tomorrow, which means ovulation on Wednesday, which is still WAYY too soon. WTH??? Is it too late to hold off ovulation with the ganirelix? I don't have any, so I couldn't get any until tomorrow I doubt. What am I supposed to do?
