Lou again i am soooo thrilled about your 2nd beta. I too was soooo nervous on last pregnancy with Kayla (right up till birth!) but i forced myself to be quietly confident i didnt tell jason till 17 wks pg but every week from the day i found out i was pg i bought the baby an item of clothing and hid them away the bigger the pile of clothes got the more confident i became. Coincidently Kaylas nurserys theme is butterflys she just loves staring at the picture of them above her changing unit sometimes she bursts out in fits of giggles when she sees them. Also this helped me in case you want to consider it as i know you will be nervous around the time//week you had your miscarriage, on our 2nd m/c we were told at 10wks the baby died at 9wks 1 day so with Kayla i booked a private scan for 9wk 1 day as i knew i would be terrifed around then when we saw her stretching and yawning i was in tears but gave us confidance. Will have all my fingers and toes crossed for you for the next 8mths!!!!!
love gi xxxx

Hi everyone. To anyone reading this thread, I wanted to update once more. I had my second u/s today and it was awesome. I still cannot believe I'm pregnant finally. My baby is measuring right on at 7w4d with a healthy heartbeat. I do have a small subchorionic hemorrhage that RE is watching but didn't seem too concerned. I have had some spotting.
Here is my bean:

Hey Lou,
OMG!!!!! I'm sooo happy 4 u!!!! I'm thrilled to hear u r PG!, finally after all uv been thru!!! I've been in mymown pity party for the last few months. I did a donor in Dec. but she sucked as a performer, only 5 eggs with 4 fert. Implanted 2 in Dec 3 day but didn't work. Implanted 2 blasts on 2-22 but I'm almost positive it didn't work again. What helped you with implantation? What finally worked for you? Again, I'm thrilled to hear your PG!!!!
Love Ya,

Chili!!!!!! I'm so happy to hear from you. You have been on my mind a lot. I'm so sorry your donor cycle didn't go as well as it should have. You are PUPO now? When is your beta? To answer your question about what helped me with implantation, I think it was a combo of 3 things. 1. Regular weekly acupuncture for 2 months prior to my cycle then having the acupuncturist come with me to the clinic for ET. She did a treatment immediately before and immediately after ET. I had done acupuncture before but this was the first time I had the acupuncturist at the clinic with me. 2. I had a D&C in December and I really think that cleaned up the uterus and made a nice environment for implantation. I had two blast transfers since my m/c. One August and one in Oct and both failed. I think it was the uterus, not the embies in those cases. I would at least recommend a hysteroscopy to look for any abnormalities. Not all can be seen even on a saline u/s. 3. I didn't give up on my embie. I Rested a full 24 hrs after ET and did a lot of meditation during the 2ww. I just imagined the embryo dividing and growing and implanting. I thought about it every day. I know that's not scientific at all but I really tried to will it to happen. I had such a poor cycle with 3 eggs retrieved and only one 8 cell embie on day 3. Instead of being sad, I tried to be hopeful. I told RE not to tell me my chances of success. Instead I focused on the fact that one good looking embryo was going into my uterus. It worked! Today I saw my baby moving around on the u/s, it was really amazing.
Thanks for your support! I really hope you get your miracle.

Hi Lou,
Again, I'm soo thrilled for you and soo happy to hear from you!!! The test was negative again. I'm changing RE's. I'm so done with this place. My current RE's next available appt isn't till the 30th. Such a joke to make someone with 4 failures to wait that long to discuss the cycle failure and my options. I just want to know why this keeps happening and no one can give me any answers. What RE to you go to? I'm thinking of trying Midwest Fertility in Downers. They seem to do a whole mind and body approach. I did do accupuncture for 6 weeks up till the day before transfer. Nothing seems to work. Thanks for your concern and I'm wishing you the best of luck!
Love,
Chili
