Nicole - that's is soooo exciting! :D I love maternity clothes. I'm still also waaaay too early to be wearing mine, but the stretchy waist jeans are starting to look really comfy (I'm just bloating!). My last two pregnancies were 'winter' ones, so all my maternity clothes are sweaters and long sleeves. I'm going to need new clothes too!

Good luck at your u/s!

Most of my maternity clothes are from pea in the pod/destination maternity. I have a large store near me where they are together in one building. Many of the pea in the pod things are expensive, but more fasionable. And during a good sale, you can get a deal. Destination Maternity... I like for some stuff. Every item I bought at Old Navy in my last pregnancy ripped, tore or was very cheap material...thus I returned them all. Don't waste your money. I haven't been to Kohl's but am going to check it out soon. I have a pair of jeans from the Gap. I like them alot. But I had to try on many pairs to find the right ones. I haven't bought from JCP or AT. Good luck and happy shopping!

SD

I agree with Kerenthescorpio in that pea in a pod are pretty expensive but I mostly shop at Destination Maternity and they have a pretty good selection. I have not been pregnant in 10 years so I need all new clothes...lol I am just hoping that the weather will finally warm up here in PA and I will be able to start buying summer dresses instead of jeans and sweaters. Also I wanted to mention that having only gained 4 lb so far I am still able to wear a body band with my regular pants which really helps.

Again congrats :)

Hey Nicole~ :) How exciting to be buying maternity clothes! You can sometimes find some really cute stuff at Target too..a lot cheaper. I usually go to destination maternity like the other ladies, but I got a few really cute things from Ann Taylor/Loft maternity. One of the things I love, and it's not maternity, are the strapless dresses, some long and some short, they are comfy and cute, and you can get away with wearing them the whole time...and since SoCal is warm to hot most of the time, they are very practical. I have a couple from Old Navy that are super comfortable, and if I get chilled I just throw a cute sweater on. :) Good luck!

My small town has not many choices, Target has little selection. Motherhood had some great sales but they were far. I am a big fan of Old Navy online, great sales and super cheap. I know Karen had a bad experience but I am still using the stuff I bought for my first pregnancy. They have great online reviews so you can base it on the reviews safely, if they say thin and cheap stay away but most of their stuff has been holding up super and the nice thing is that most of my tops can be worn after pregnancy because they stay shaped and with form to hide your bum every time you bend down ;) They also have super sales on toddler clothes and I get some great fleece lined pants and thick t shirts for our son there sometimes for $2. I have another friend who swears by them also, you just have to research some. So cal has some great outlet stores and bigger selection. I just refuse to pay a lot for maternity clothes I will only wear for a few mos.

I bought most of mine from JCP. They have a decent selection at a decent price. I did buy somethings at Motherhood, but it is more expensive. Also, I bought a few tops at Kohls at decent prices as well. However, I had to go to a specialty store, Knickers and Saks 5th Ave to buy bras. I was huge already, and pregnancy made them even bigger. Also, you can buy them online from Bravissimo. (for the over-endowed)

It is imperative for women to wear comfortable clothes during pregnancy. Its very much matter which type of shorts or clothes are you wearing. I would like to suggest women's for compression or pregnancy shorts during pregnancy
