Our 2 baby boys arrived on Mon Feb 28th at noon. Henry Pfister weighed 6 lbs 13 oz and Adrien Louis weighed 6 lbs even. They both measured 19 inches. They have been doing great ever since. We all struggled with breastfeeding at first but slowly got the hang of it towards the end of our stay at the hospital. Since we have been home on Fri the little guys don't want to latch any more so I have been pumping and bottle feeding them the expressed milk, and have an apt with the lactation consultant on Monday. I have been doing really good and recovering well from the c-section -- oh my was it painful to laugh at first! But now I feel great and have been walking around, going up & down the stairs etc without pain.
We came home on Fri and had a really rough first night. I knew it was going to be tough but never realized how much went on while the boys were at the nursery at the hospital... Last night we ended up doing 6 total outfit changes within an hour. All great memories we'll cherish forever. We are slowly starting to get a rhythm going -- DH and I have a great relationship but now we are turning into a super efficient team, it's taking us to a totally different place in a very short amount time.
I just can't believe how much love I have for these little guys already. We love them to pieces and could spend hours watching them sleep or fuss. Enclosed a picture of the little miracles.

mev - what a cute picture! I know it is hard when they eat all the time, it seems like you get no sleep. How are you handling it on your own now? when do you have to return to work?
julia - yay!!!!!! You are very lucky that your hospital still does a nursery. Ours only takes high/special needs babies... doh! Hopefully you guys are doing great. My husband and I joke that we could now survive any sleep deprivation torture I think that twins can really make a stronger team and marriage.
