LEORA!!YAY!!! X 2!!! I couldn't be happier for you! This is going to be a wonderful ride for you and DH!

I don't have much time.. neighbor just called me mid-typing and needs me to pick him up at the hospital - just split his face open and had stitches and needs a ride home.

I had my u/s this morning and WOW!!!! 6 SIX 6 follicles on my right that are mature - 17,20,20,21,21 & 25. 3 days ago they only saw 3! They couldn't see my left because it is located at the top of my uterus (at the fundus) and because my right is so swollen, it is pushing the uterus in front of it. But I trigger tonight and looks like I am going into IUI Sat morning with 6-8 good follies.... just pray a couple of them have decent eggs in them! I'm so excited!

Anton- How are you feeling? When I get closer I feel so full and have a hard time moving around.

Carol- WOW that's a lot of follies. I have a very good feeling about this cycle.

Katie- You'll also be PUPO next week. Looks like we will have a few PUPO girls next week.

Lauren-Glad they gave your puppy is doing better. That's pretty scary to go through.

Katie- The poor thing teething must be so painful, My kids loved that ora-jel that would numb the area, not sure if they still sell it though.

Sorry if I missed anyone. Took a valium last night for my back and I feel like I'm still woozy. My back doesn't hurt today so that's a good thing. It seems this month is going by slow for me . I want it to be April so I can be PUPO!!!

nw--- I'm so sorry... it's a very difficult time for both you and your DH... take time... and take care of each other... we've gone through very tough times too throughout this journey... your DH needs some support now and so do you... it's very hard to make big decisions when a loss has happened... hugs...

Anton - congratulations!!! you're almost PUPO... just a few more days to ER and ET!!! yay!!! you'll have many beautiful embies that will make beautiful babies for you and DH... love your PMA!!!

AFM - It has been very hard on both of us... we've cried our eyes out and had some wine... and talked a lot... and are now in a better place... Thank you all for your support!!! We still have some frosties that we have to put back... but not sure when... I have a few trips the next four weeks... so it may have to wait until after mid april or may... and my work changed the schedules so I no longer have afternoon starting times... so I don't have time for many morning appointments... this will complicate starting the FET... My RE called me on the phone... he was very disappointing, and was not very encouraging about our future... we still have to get our WTH appointment in person... but unless I misunderstood he's getting ready to say good bye... and I guess so are we...
It has been a very strange yet wonderful ride to be able to dream about our little ones for so many years... and I have been very glad to have found all you wonderful ladies... I will be stalking you to cheer you in silence and with prayers so everyone here can get their BFP and their dreams come true...
Again thank you all for everything... and know that I will be cheering all of you from a little distance...

special post for longtimerivf- My dear friend! All of us ladies on this board have one thing in common, we all want to bring home a baby, make a family....Thing is, NO one prepared us for this rollercoaster ride! When I started my IVF adventure back in Sept 2009 I thought that it only takes one time and boom baby on the way. How wrong I was! now I am on my IVF #5 and still waiting for that BFP. This is hard and SO unfair for all of us. IVF is one of the hardest emotionaly ride and financially drained procedure a couple can find them selves into and It can easily bring conflict in the couple. All that waiting and all those BFN is a torture for all of us. The will and the dream of creating our family is beyond any pain one can take. Its up to everyone of us how much strength we have in order to proceed with this journey. This isn't an easy decision at all! and it shouldn't be taken lightly. I feel your pain my friend and dissapointment and I wish I could help you feel better and over pass this obstacle. Doctors are not God's! even though we let our life/future in there hands, every case is different and they do the best they can but unfortunately they can't make miracles happen. I wish you from the bottom of my heart you and your DH to find peace and bring home yor baby sometime soon! You deserve this and its going to happen eventually. Don't loose hope and it will happen! Even if its with IVF or adoption, its going to happen for you hon! I will have you in my prayers for as long as it takes for you to have get your family. It was a pleasure having you on this board along with the rest of these amazing women on this board. I love your idea of getting together with all hte heroes of this board! why not! (((hugs)))

Anton - ER on Monday awesome! Touchy question, have you thought of having backup sperm (donor) in case his sperm does not make it? Or can you freeze some sperm now just in case? I would hate for you to go through all this... What is the cutoff number to go to 5days?

Longtimer - I am glad you have frosties, maybe time for a new RE? I am so sorry and I really pray it works for you and your frosties.

AFM - great news, apparently my OB said the Doctor who said that the offset chord was an issue for growth is an alarmist and my OB said he is not the least concerned about it, I know him well and if there was a minimal cause of concern he would follow through, so I feel much better now! I will still do another through scan at 28 weeks but for now see the OB in 4 weeks!!! Thank you for all the well wishes and prayers, there is just so much to worry about all the time!!!

Sweetpea-- Thanks for asking. My appt went well. It was quick, just a BP check, a hug from my OB who was absoutely amazed by my story, and a quickie u/s to verify heartbeat.

longtimer-- So glad you are feeling better. I think using your frosties after a few great trips is a fantastic idea. Good luck to you!

I wanted to respond to your question of exactly how well do you tolerate pain? Just kidding! When you go through the ER, you'll be sleeping soundly. Actually my doctor said I was talking saying stuff about my husband when he knocked me out. lol

No seriously it's not so bad, coming from a first-timer. While you're asleep he goes in to retrieve all those precious follicles. You'll take it easy that evening and maybe one more day from being a little sore, but all in all it's more emotional than anything, because each waking moment you are waiting for the phone to ring to get the news of how your embies in the playpen are doing! We went through blastocyst (5 day transfer) and were more emotionally shocked that it didn't work the first time. You have to go in there prepared that it may OR may not work the very first time. It's all trial and error and each time some med or maybe just dosage will be changed until you get that BFP! Most importantly you are strong to get this far! Anyway I'm still learning as I go, but hoped my perspective helped a little.

Kynlee – It is kind of a bummer that DH couldn’t be there last time, but I certainly wasn’t waiting for him to become available! My Mom made a great stand in! But I am really happy he will be there. Sounds like you will have your ER the day I am having my ET or if you go early we could have ET same day! I will be watching your progress, looks like you are progressing nicely

Anton – I am following your & SD’s PMA! I get so down so it is fun to look at the ticker & think I am pregnant! If your ER is Monday you could have ET on Wednesday if you go 3 day or Friday for 5 day? Will pray they go to 5 day & you have no issues, just perfect beautiful 5 day blasts for you to choose from!

Leorira – I knew you would have two! Yay! So happy to see the two sacs! That must have made your day! Can’t wait to hear the next report!

Nwquiz – I know it hurts right now but at this moment it is very raw & new so anything either of you say to each other is just coming from the pain & rawness of what you are going through. Wait for your appt next week & let yourselves get some distance from this news & some clarity as the days progress then come back to each with clear heads & discuss. Nothing is ever as it seems when you are in the midst of a crisis we all say things that we think are being helpful so don’t be too hard on each other just grieve & support each other & don’t discuss the future just yet give yourselves some time. Take care my friend & try to breathe & don’t be too hard on yourselves. I am cyber hugging you my dear it is times like these I wish we knew each personally so we could give real hugs & support.

Greekchick – Not sure about all the names either but it sounds like you are progressing along when is your ER (Egg Retrieval) does your clinic/country got to 5 day blastocysts? It is nice to read along everyone else’s story & know you are not alone – it gives me so much comfort!

CJinNC – So exciting! Saturday is your day to make a baby! All sounds good and like you are on track

Kat/Sweetpea614 – Funny how I am trying so hard to have another one when I feel like I am some kinda crazy world right now with Em, she is laughing & happy one second then balling uncontrollably the next with her fists shoved in her mouth. Not much has changed oragel is still good but when I try to put it in her mouth she bites me!! Ahhh the joys of having a 2 year old! Anyways April will be here before you know it, when I got cancelled in February & I was re-scheduled I thought six weeks UGH! But here we are next Wednesday is the day so it will fly by! Maybe put a ticker on your signature so you can see it count down!

Defnonesmo – So sorry I know how hard it is to have BFN’s they just suck! Just give your sweet baby girl Grace a big hug and take solace in the fact this process can work she is proof of that and it will work again for you.Take the time to weigh all your options & make the best decision for you & your family. Do you have any frosties? Would you consider doing a frozen cycle? Hugs to you my friend

LongtimerIVF – Would you consider doing a FET? I have heard that some women respond much better to a FET cycle since they are much less drug invasive on the body, since you have them it might be worth a try. I am so sorry that you have to deal with this again but you are a strong women to have gone through 5 IVF’s so please don’t give up, think about doing a FET. Also if your RE is saying good bye, time to get another one, their job is to take the impossible & make it possible isn’t that what we are all here for, infertility? If he doesn’t have anything new to offer you then find someone who does, a new protocol should be in order….look at Margi, she had some great luck in CA.

Margi – Time for you to start POAS’ing! Can’t wait to hear about your BFP!

Rio – Thank god you got some good news, I almost stopped reading your posts cause I thought it so difficult to finally be pregnant & keep it in my case then you have all this stuff that is solely created by having an IVF baby…..geez time to cut us gals some slack! Don’t we have enough to worry about without worrying about having a “IVF” baby. So happy all is OK with your bean

Lou – So happy to hear all is progressing along nicely…..each time you see/hear the heartbeat must be music to your ears

AFM – Had a dream interview at one of my favorite non profits in town, I have not been working just being a mommy but this would be something I would go back to work for. It is part time so not too much time away from the bug & the director is someone I know she is totally on board with the baby making roller coaster. Pray for me ladies! Final lining & blood work check tomorrow & if all systems are go then I start progesterone and ET will be next Wednesday.
